In the best way possible, Vox is desperate for attention. He craves attention and love so desperately, and I have no doubt he'd change everything about himself to get attention.

Vox would do anything to keep his power, I think he doesn't view the sinners buying his products as actual people to make it easier for him to lie to their faces. He definitely relies too much on people for his self esteem, so either intentionally or not, distancing himself from his consumers is easier than getting hurt.

LoveGame - Lady Gaga

Now that Valentino and Vox have a confirmed situationship, I definitely think it would be more than complicated. Vox would probably be the first person to get attached, and the last one to admit it. I do see Valentino's attitude to Angel and his other employees bleeding into their relationship. I think Vox would use intimacy as a weapon to get Valentino to do what he wants, or just to get some affection for a bit.

Take Me to War - The Crane Wives

Striker is, first and foremost, a fighter. He's always wanting to charge into action, it doesn't matter what it is. I feel like this song is more relevant to how he feels, like he can never let his guard down because he's at war.

Pretty Little Things - The Crane Wives

I feel like this song is more of how I assume he feels about the upper class of hell. The grand palaces and gold doesn't make him feel wonderful, or amazed. He hates royalty, and their pretty little things. He lost someone to these people. He won't lose another pretty thing.

cowboy like me - Taylor Swift

He's hating the rich, stealing (their lives) from them, and being a true cowboy while he's at it. This song may be focused on a con artists relationship, but I still feel like it applies to him.

Crack Baby - Mitski

This song is PEAK Striker angst for me. He had a life before his grief. He had someone he cared about, a home, he must've learned guitar, and he was a kid once. He craves for some form of relief, something or someone to take his anger out on. He is unwell, but he wasn't always.
