You can’t win as a woman in fiction. Be too positive, you become a Mary Sue, have flaws and those flaws are why almost nobody likes you. Be moderate, you have wet-cabbage personality, be exuberant, you are an unrealistic example. Have strong morals, and you’re badly developed, be morally corrupt and you’re hated with such vigour fans will send hate mail to the actress who plays the character. Be kind and soft and in love, you’re a representation of sexism, be cruel, harsh and cold and you’re just a bitch. Be a complex, realistic, ambiguous character, and either your flaws or your positive traits will be ignored or blown out of proportion and into oblivion. There is no winning for female characters.

First Sylus brought me to the game, not expecting it to be a mobile otome with such good graphics. Then Zayne broke my heart with his sad storyline, and now Rafayel is slowly but surely stealing my heart. The only one's left (not counting the soon-to-be new love interest) is Xavier, and frankly I don't want to get infatuated with him, because every time I think, "this character's the one", I end up finding out something special that endears me to them, stealing the show all over again. JUST STOP, MY HEART CAN'T TAKE IT.

I finally finished watching AoT yesterday, and I reiterate that I am wrecked, heartbroken, and in physical pain. The last season was so depressing, and now I don't know how to recover. The entire show is heartwrenching, which is what makes it so good in the first place. Eren...Levi...Mikasa😭. EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENS IS SO FUCKING SAD. Thank god the ending was bittersweet, as opposed to completely miserable. I'm still miserable, though. I am wrecked. Did I say I'm wrecked ? Because I am.
