I tried for the tender kinda stuff after not writing for months. But uhh, yeah. Some lines from Ventriloquy.

Premise: Kannagi solidarity in a nutshell. Lol

Her mother had told her a story once.

A story of lost girls far away from home. They wandered through foreign lands, drifting and twisting in the sublime cosmos with their ethereal bodies, weightless, faceless. Many would call upon them, exalting their names—of which are nothing more but dissonant sounds—given structure, formed syllables, that would be forgotten in the fires of a dying hearth and stench of wilted camellias. They were fulfillers of miracles. Handmaidens of stars that would listen to the plea and prayers of humans, and attain those wishes in their stead.

But they were not the wish granters, and in the end, cannot be anything more but slaughtered ewe discarded and forgotten at the bottom of a jagged pit.

“The stars have lied to us, my dear Nene-chan. We already know how the story ends.” He had sounded the way the years to his existence would have properly fit his wisdom. The breath that fans over her lips is still of cold and nip, and nothing will change no matter how many times she’d asked him to lay his mouth over hers.

She whispers in a voice of coarse and strain, choked up. “It doesn’t have to be that way. We could end it any way we want.”

Tsukasa raises his lips and allows them to hover over her forehead. She closes her eyes to the puff of frost from above her brows and for a moment, thinks it has warmed.

Just for a very short moment.

“That’s right. I’ll stay with you until then.”

Hi! I've read your tbhk fics and I'm super fascinated with how you write the characters. Just curious but what goes in your head when you write au tsukasa? Don't get me wrong I love how you protray him but I'm genuinely curious what you think of his charaxter

HMMM, it really depends on which setting we talking about here. But in general, I see AU!Tsukasa as still Canon!Tsukasa. Just you know, not exactly as off in the head. Eccentric and morally questionable in more ways than one, but does retain and recognizes morals. Also shows and expresses a wider range of emotions. Since in my mind, this is the Tsukasa that doesn't go down that path and dies. And of course, grows up (and Hanako not needing to step in and ending up with his own future razzle dazzled because of it).

Other than that, just more subdued 'cause I normally write him out as a dude in his late teens to early 20s for my AUs (he be 50+ in canon and all but, this be him that didn't just have random knick knacks to keep him entertained for decades).

So, there! That's how I usually see AU!Tsukasa (well College AU one to be exact).

I felt like drawing him after getting this ask aaaaaa I'm sorry it's so random.
