He upsets Gangle and angers Zooble because it keeps them in their roles as the "sad one" and the "grumpy one" because if he doesn't then they'll act different to the roles he's assigned them which will shatter his entire coping mechanism.

I wouldn't be surprised if next episode Pomni goes from "the one who hasn't figured that out yet" to "the gullable one" or "the naive one" and he'll force her to stay in that role until one of them abstracts.

5 tf fandom pet peeves?

when people assume G1 fanon soup is something 'we can all agree on', but especially when this expectation is pushed onto people talking about non-G1 (as in, cartoon/marvel) continuities. i've seen sooo many people get annoyed at those of us who write for idw1 canon directly and who do not incorporate old fandom fanon soup headcanons they feel 'everyone' has miraculously agreed on at some point as being Better. also a problem for those of us into TFA, tbh.

people bringing up Kiss Players as though it's some 'haha, Japanese fandom/canon is soooo disgusting and awful always and forever, those waaaacky Japanese are so gross!!!' as though a) it's not like pointing to the 'romeo and juliet law' in the Bayverse movies and saying the same about Western TF fandom as a whole and b) not, like. actually widely hated among plenty of sections of Japanese fandom specifically because everyone is like 'god, everyone's gonna assume this edgelord bullshit is what we all actually want, huh'. KP was a deliberate attempt to be shocking and controversial and niche in a bad way; it is not considered Mainstream Content in japanese fandom anymore than it is anywhere else, stop being weird and xenophobic about the deliberate bait shit.

people constantly tokenizing idw1 arcee, anode and lug in ways where they exclusively bring them up for Diversity Points TM but never outside the 'and my favourite comic even has a trans character, please be Impressed!!!' thing... like, yes, fellow MTMTE/LL fan, i also think lug and anode (the latter especially) are fascinating characters i enjoy a lot, but do you exclusively bring them up when trying to dunk on someone on twitter and not. like. as actual characters in their own right worth exploration (anode has a whole character arc! it's good!!). please consider doing that more perhaps. it's lonely out here trying to actually talk about the trans characters in idw a lot of the time! ngl! this has been a really consistent thing since i got back into the fandom in 2017 and i'm mildly annoyed we've made so little progress on it since, tbqh.

the general tendency of the IDW fandom to treat word of god as gospel. please. it's fun to know writers' headcanons; if it's not actually in the comic, we don't have to treat it as much more than headcanons without specific reason to.

stop doing weird biological essentialism about the robots that no canon does about the robots. we do not need weird biological essentialism adding in. i promise we do not need more of this. goes across the board. what if- and hear me out- we even strove to do. less weird biological essentialism than some of the canons. about the actual literal robots it is already annoying that canon sometimes does even a little biological essentialism about. yknow. HEDS is a curse I truly wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.

Woke up today in the worst flair up I've had in a long long time, Do y'all know that scene from Wallace and Gromit where Wallace is asleep but those metal pants are carrying him all over the place? Yeah I feel like similar happened to me last night whilst I slept only instead of robbing a diamond from a museum the pants took me into at least 5 different street fights and a bar fight.

My entire body feels like its been beaten and broken repeatedly throughout the entire night and literally all I did was SLEEP, this shit sucks I had plans today to visit the park and walk my dog too and instead I'm stuck on the couch with my dog sleeping between my legs ( I love her sm she's being so gentle with me and doesn't even care that she can't be walked today, usually she's running around like the Tasmanian devil with her brother but she knows I'm hurting and she's happy to just sleep and comfort me with cuddles) writing a vent post on tumblr and waiting for my painkillers to kick in.

This is a legitimate curse I can't even eat because my jaw hurts so goddamn much, It's days like this I really wish I had a wheelchair because my cane is utterly useless and I feel useless and pathetic as a result because I can't function like an adult should be able to.

I'm gonna end this vent here otherwise I'll be ranting all day, I've got my hot water bottle, I've had painkillers, I've got my sweet girl asleep between my legs and I'm gonna spend the rest of the day looking for an HEDS mod for sims 4 so they can suffer with me lol

I've had a thought, What if Alpha centuri and Crowley's nebula he created when he first met Aziraphale are the same place?

That would explain why Crowley keeps mentioning it and seems so fixated on it, He wants to live in peace with his angel where no one will find them so what better place is there to run to than a nebula that is barely even visible from earth ("Most of it won't even be visible from earth!") And is also the same place that he and his angel met for the very first time,

Unfortunately this also makes everything even more heartbreaking because not only did he never even get to visit Alpha centuri with his angel but also Gabriel, the same bastard that tried to kill Aziraphale via hellfire and grinned while doing so, is living his perfect love story in a part of space that should belong to Crowley and his Angel.

Just thinking about how I had tons of body issues as a kid and saw tons of doctors and got diagnosed with “hypermobility”, which my parents told me was just “being extra flexible”, and how that was actually super traumatic even though I acted like it was fine, because I was a child with chronic pain, invalidating parents, undiagnosed autistic, and unable to do physical activities like my peers. Only to find out (as an adult) that I have Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and it was actually more than “being extra flexible” but nobody took the time to actually learn that.

I was really alienated as a kid, and my parents dismissed my pain and diagnosis because they didn’t want me to be different. But I WAS different already and I WAS an outcast, so all I got instead was a bone-deep sense of emotional neglect and invalidation which affects who I am today. But anyway
