Y/N's smile widened, touched by Varian's sincerity. Varian took a deep breath, his heart racing as he extended the bouquet towards Y/N. "These flowers may not compare to your beauty, but they hold the essence of my feelings for you," Varian said, his voice trembling slightly.

The evening sun cast a warm glow across the training grounds of U.A. High School. Students hustled about, some laughing, others tired from a day filled with grueling exercises. Among them was Tenya Iida, known for his diligence and serious demeanor. Today, however, something felt different. As he walked toward the exit, he noticed Y/N sitting on a bench, reviewing notes.

“Y/N!” Tenya called, his voice a mix of urgency and warmth. You looked up, a smile growing on your face.

“Hey, Tenya! What’s up?” you replied, closing your notebook.

“I was just thinking about how to improve our speed training. Would you like to join me for some practice?” His eyes sparkled with enthusiasm, but there was something else there—a spark of hopefulness.

“Of course! I could use the extra practice,” you said, your heart racing a little at the thought of spending more time with him.

As you both jogged to the track, Tenya spoke animatedly about his family’s history with heroics and how speed had always been crucial in their lineage. You listened intently, admiring his dedication.

Once on the track, Tenya demonstrated a series of warm-up exercises, his movements precise and fluid. You couldn't help but admire his focused demeanor, which always came with a dose of charm.

“Now, let’s race! It will help us gauge where we stand!” he declared, excitement evident in his voice.

“Alright, just don’t get too confident!” you teased, a smile playing on your lips.

With a whistle, you both took off, racing down the track. Wind whipped past you as you focused on the rhythm of your breathing. Each stride seemed to pull you closer to victory.

But Tenya, ever the strategic thinker, began to pull ahead. His engines revved, propelling him forward with bursts of speed. You felt a renewed determination and pushed yourself harder.

As you approached the finish line, you could hear Tenya’s encouraging shout behind you. “You can do it, Y/N! Just a little further!”

With a final burst of energy, you crossed the finish line milliseconds ahead of him. Both of you stumbled to a stop, panting heavily.

“I... I didn’t think you’d beat me!” he exclaimed, wiping the sweat from his brow.

You laughed, exhilarated. “Looks like I’m quicker on my feet than you thought!”

“Indeed! Let’s not forget this moment; I’ll need to train harder!” He added with a serious nod, but you could see the glimmer of pride in his eyes.

Just then, the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in shades of pink and orange. The moment felt peaceful yet thrilling, and you couldn’t help but feel a deep connection to Tenya.

“Hey, Iida,” you said softly, catching his attention. “Thanks for pushing me today. It means a lot.”

His gaze softened, and he smiled—something rare and genuine. “It’s a pleasure, Y/N. I enjoy training with you. Perhaps we could do this more often?”

Your heartbeat quickened. “I’d love that.”

As you both walked back toward the dorms, the laughter shared and the heat of competition lingered in the air, bringing a newfound warmth to your friendship. Little did you know, this was just the beginning of everything that would unfold between you and Tenya Iida.
