Or should I simply trust it through its slumber, believing that it will always return?

If you keep saving your ‘nice things’ for later, you will eventually outgrow them.

It’s much better for it to become a memory, than to become nothing at all.

I really do believe in manifestation. We are here, on Earth, we create things, sometimes purely within our minds.

More importantly, I believe that what you believe, becomes. But it’s more than that; consistent, oftentimes collective belief, is what it takes. Every belief is a seed. And there are some wicked weeds out there man.

But even weeds, arguably, were only called such out of someone’s disliking. Perhaps they add something to the ecosystem too? Or perhaps, it’s purely up to you, what you want in your garden.

So long as there are things we do not understand, magic exists.

A short diary extract.

Since when did I have to explain my every motive in these pages?

Perhaps God doesn’t trifle with the meaning of life for the same reason.

Art need not be based upon logic; yet within it, the seeds of wisdom are sewn.

Sometimes when I feel myself sinking I see Mufasa peering down at me from the void and he goes, “you have forgotten who you are”

Which usually prompts me to remember some part of myself I’ve been unknowingly neglecting, and often that’s the catalyst to get back on my feet.

Plus it’s mildly entertaining

I think something that can be nearly as terrible as having one’s freedom taken away is never knowing what it meant in the first place.

I’ve started playing this game called phone is lava to combat doomscrolling. It’s what you’d expect: when I remember it exists, I say ‘phone is lava’ and can’t touch the screen until I forget again. Would recommend.
