More How To Draw Manga - Vol. 4: Mastering Bishoujo Characters

Week 2 of daily doodles, and I’m really happy with the amount of different and new characters I drew this week!! I found that last year, I was drawing a lot of the same character over and over, and was too scared to branch out and draw new things, so this year, I’m going to try focusing on drawing new characters and not being afraid to use references!

This week’s hyperfixation; Kamigami no Asobi - I originally watched the anime at some point last year (I want to say around the middle towards the end) and it was lots of fun, and while I obviously still liked the series since then, I was never really... big on it for a while. This week, I’ve rewatched it like. 3 times and have been reading about the game's routes. A boy is still hoping for a localisation, or maybe even a season 2 of the anime, but, eh. I’m a little too hopeful.

My favourite doodle this week is probably the Ann! She looks so good in her Dancing Star Night outfit - if I was body confident enough, I would do cosplay that design. Or maybe Ryuji’s... either way, the Phantom Thieves are looking super cool, and as a fan of Dancing All Night on its own, the P3 and P5 dancing instalments are for sure on my list of anticipated games this year.

Week 1 of daily doodles!

There was... a lot of South Park doodles over this past week because I recently finished The Fractured But Whole and binged the movie + the latest 3 seasons with my girlfriends so... guess who’s hyperfixating!

My favourite doodles from this week were probably the Kaminari’s - I got a new headcanon that he has the cute little Shiba Inu eyebrows. You know, the small little circle ones? What a cutie. I also really like the Kiibo and Tenko - it was drawn for a friend on Twitter, and they really liked it, so that made me really happy!!

With the New Year now finally here, I took it upon myself to try and draw at least one little doodle a day in a small sketchbook I own!! I’ll post everything on a weekly basis in a giant photoset, and count how many drawings I can do in a day!! I hope I can make this stick, and I’m super excited to challenge myself and my art this year!

Additionally, if you follow my main blog, you will have noticed I’m going to try writing a birthday fic for all 65 main series Danganronpa characters. I only have Hinata’s at the moment, but Leon’s birthday is tomorrow, so stay tuned!!

Some sketches to finish off the year!! This year has had its ups and downs, but by the end of it, I think I’ve improved a lot with my art! Maybe next year I’ll redraw one of these pieces and compare how much better I’ve gotten!! I hope you all had a lovely holiday season, and best of luck for the new year!
