Personal Protection Powder
This is my personal concoction. I use it for protection, and in my circle casting

Crushed eggshells (start by drying them. Clean them out and peel out the membrane if you like, then bake at 200*F for around 30 minutes until they are dry. Use a coffee grinder or mortar and pestle to crush them however fine you like.) -this is for protection and power Dried, chopped
Basil- this is for protection, peace in your workings and to keep evil or negativity away.
Coffee grounds- for grounding the work, and giving it energy
Thyme- for purification and prosperous outcomes to your workings
I use this powder in my circle castings, in some of my jar spells for warding, and for general protection use.
Happy crafting!

☀️Healing Offerings☀️

❤️🩹May Apollo Acestor be with you ❤️🩹
A friend of mine has been in some rather extreme pain due to illness, so today I made an offering of dragons blood incense and Ginko leaves. During prayers over the offering I used the epithet Acestor, Apollos aspect as the god of healing and general warder of evil ☀️

opening your heart to Aphrodite is like:
a sudden burst of self love, you look in the mirror and you see the best version of yourself reflected
a heightened sense of adoration for your partner - i just looked at him and was so overcome by the love i felt that i burst into tears
inescapable yearning for the ocean, the ocean, the ocean
seeing the beauty in even the tiniest of things - have you seen light reflecting from the droplets on a spiders web? that is ethereal.
feeling a little more vivacious in what you do, but also more gentle
realising she's been around you the whole time, you just had to open your eyes

Grimoire VS Book of shadows.

In passing conversation the other day, I was asked what the difference between a Grimoire and a Book of Shadows (BOS) is. Most witches keep a BOS, but not a Grimoire. A BOS is a witch's personal book of magic; a diary of magic if you will. It includes records of all magical workings, dreams and their meanings, rituals, etc. If the witch does not also keep a Grimoire, it can also include spells and other magical information needed to perform magic. It's always a good idea to keep records of your magical workings. This will not only help you progress as a witch by seeing your power grow, but will also allow you to see what works and what does not work for you.

A Grimoire is like a BOS, but not as personal. It holds information about rituals, spells, potions, and how to prepare magical tools. It also contains lists of correspondences and magical properties of herbs, gemstones, food, colors, etc. Basically, it contains all your magical research. It does not contain personal information or records of magical workings.

Most witches keep just a BOS. I am personally in the process of transferring to two separate books. I'd much rather keep all my research in one book and my thoughts and feelings in another book. In doing so I can keep my personal information from others while still sharing my research.

If you wish to start a Grimoire, I suggest using something with removable pages. This way you can add and remove pages as you need them instead of taking your entire book into a ritual where it may be damaged. This also allows you to easily move pages around if you decide to reorganize it. Some people keep their BOS and Grimoires on their computer. I find this cumbersome when I wish to perform magic, but it may work for you.

Remember, your BOS contains very personal information. It is a sacred object and should be treated as such. Honor it by giving it its own special hiding place where others will not be tempted to mess with it. Bless it and protect it. It is only for you and whoever you authorize to see it. You need to be sure that whoever does see it won't disclose its contents to others or harm you or the book. If someone makes you uncomfortable, do not show it to them. This is just another reason I suggest keeping two books. Others like to see your research, not so much your personal thoughts. Keeping a Grimoire and a Book of Shadows is the best way to do this.
I hope this clears up any confusion you may have. Do you keep just a BOS or a BOS and Grimoire?

Quick post on Binding spells vs. Banishing spells:
Confusion between banishing and binding spells is actually pretty common; however, it’s crucial that you understand the difference between the two.
Binding spells attach something, or most commonly, someone to something/one else. Oftentimes this attachment is SUPER intense and it can be permanent.
Banishing spells, on the other hand; remove something(or more frequently: someone). This is normally a permanent removal.
This is an important distinction; although magick spells are normally used for manifesting, bringing something/one to you, the reverse is needed just as much!
Banishing spells are typically done at the waning moon, in hopes that just as the moon diminishes; so will the unwanted presence.
Also falling under the same category as banishing spells are Avoidance spells. These spells, as the name suggests; are used when you wish to avoid contact with whoever. Banishing spells can also be used to prevent any unwelcome returns, too. However; you may want to consider doing a protection spell to reinforce, or in some cases replace, the banishing spell.
Thanks for reading this!! I hope you have a wonderful day, and message me with any questions!!

Altar Question
any witches share altar space with their significant other?
There is a spot in our home that would work prefect for altar space. We live in a super small home and looked more into it but haven't found much information on the rules of sharing space (and just space ! since my partner doesn't worship anything)
Would sharing just a table (with each of us only using a half of it) for the altar be okay ?
