One of my favourite things to think up when I write the Descendants characters as adults (specifically as parents/uncles and aunts) is nicknames for the kiddos.

For example, Jay is the kind who has nicknames for all of his "nephews/nieces" (and students for that matter).

For example, there is Lia, Mal and Ben's oldest child, who has a number of nicknames, one of which only Jay calls her. While most of the family call Lia "La" or "Lala", Ben and Mal call her "Baby Bear" (Ben shifts from "Baby Bear" to "Bear" when she's about 3). Mal called her this because Lia made a little growl-like sound when she first fed (little foreshadowing for Lia's future abilities) and said she sounded like a baby bear (which Ben pointed out was called a cub, so Mal became annoyed and decided to keep calling Lia "Baby Bear" partly out of spite, partly because she thought it was a cute nickname). Jay also pointed out that a baby bear was called a cub so started calling Lia "Cub" just to annoy Mal.

He calls his own daughter, Katie, "Comet" because when she started crawling, she was crawling so fast he joked that she was zooming around like a comet.

Evie's youngest son is called Ethan Thomas and Jay clocked his initials so fast - so little E.T. became "Alien" (this was also partly because Jay thought that all newborn babies looked a bit like aliens but he was smart enough never to tell that to Evie).

If he has any students (he's the tourney coach at AP) who are children of his own teammates from AP, he calls them Little -insert parent's name here- or -insert parent's name here- Jr (e.g. He trains Aziz's son, so he calls him Little Aziz or Aziz Jr).

I have so many ideas and keep thinking about the world I've built around the Descendants characters (of the first three films -anything set after the 3rd one I've ignored) but no desire to write or at least can't figure out how I'm going to put them in story form so I may start throwing out random headcanons and other things that I regularly think about.

If you want to ask me any headcanons about any of the main characters (from the 1st 3 movies and WW) or anyone else you've seen me write about from that universe, feel free to ask and I will gladly do so!

Oh my goodness, I answered this in my head so many times and I completely forgot to respond to this! I am so sorry!

Don't worry, I have a few things in the works for those two!! I love them too. They may take some time before they are published because I am working on a lot of things at once. I promise, though, they are going to be happy (despite any difficult things I may throw their way).
