I saw Across the Spider-Verse!

And I have a Marvel STRIKE Force team to match!

The movie was awesome. It had great music, as expected, but the animation was on a whole new level. And that’s saying something considering how iconic the first movie was. I don’t wanna spoil the movie for anyone, so that’s all I’ll say for now. Go see it!

This blog is not abandoned

I haven’t been able to keep up with it because of many changes in my life. I’m now a father!

This blog is still just a hobby but its one I still enjoy. I have not yet seen Across the Spider-Verse but I will soon & then I’ll be posting about it. I’ll also be getting the new video game when it’s out.

Ahh, now here’s the obligatory post where I pose this MAFEX Spidey with various nefarious villains. In particular, I actually quite like how he looks with the ToyBiz ML Green Goblin. Not bad for a figure that’s gonna be 20 years old in a couple more years.

God I feel old after saying that.

I just finished watching the 3D animated MTV Spider-Man series

I have a pretty mixed opinion about this one. On one hand, the CG & animation are way more polished & easy on the eyes than I expected, Spider-Man himself looks & sounds good, and the action & web-swinging look great. On the other hand, the show has not aged well and I think that’s most apparent in the music, some of the character adaptations are less than faithful, and the fact that the episodes aired out of order (nor are they arranged chronologically on Disney+), means that the people who watched as it was released (and now myself) experience blatant continuity errors. All in all, its still an enjoyable show, but I definitely recommend following the episode order on Wikipedia if you check it out.
