I just found out about this challenge a few days ago, and it sounds like a lot of fun! I have a bunch of Elf characters that I need to draw more, so I’m going to try taking part in this challenge. I have a lot of new techniques I want to try out (and I used a few in this drawing), and hopefully find new things to use while drawing!

I made a fantasy/spooky-themed color palette meme for artists! (It zooms, by the way, in case it’s a bit hard to read). 11 Questions

I was tagged by @depresseddepot to do this 11 questions thing (thank you!!!!), so here we go!

1. Are you afraid of death? Be honest, not edgy, and you are, do you have any idea why?

Honestly? It's a yes and no for me. The prospect of dying used to terrify me to the point where it would keep me up at night, but now not so much. Am I still terrified of dying? Yes. But what is the point in worrying about the inevitable? Just go live your life and do what makes you happy.

2. Cats or dogs? Neither?

I hate that I'm saying this but.... I prefer cats. I love both cats and dogs, but I just like cats a little bit more.

3. What phobias do you have? Do you know why you have any of them?

I don't think my fears could necessarily be considered phobias, but I do have a list of different things that give me severe anxiety: slamming doors, loud voices, hearing things break, objects being thrown (even if it's someone just tossing me something small), anyone opening my bedroom door... That's actually all I can think of right now. I've been in a multitude of terrifying situations that ended up giving me these fears, and I doubt they'll go away anytime soon.

4. What philosophy do you live your life by?

Do what makes you happy and don't lose sight of your goals.

5. Favorite book and favorite book series?

The Harry Potter series was my favorite when I was growing up, and I think "Goblet of Fire" is still my favorite to this day.

6. Does traffic bother you if you aren't in a hurry? How do you usually respond to it?

Not at all. If anything, I actually enjoy it when I'm not in a rush. It allows me to calm down and relax for a minute, maybe listen to the radio for a bit. It's not that bad, honestly.

7. Is there anything you casually hoard collect?

Cool rocks I find on beaches, Gemstones, Dragon Figurines... I also still have a massive Pokémon Card collection from when I was younger.

8. Do you have a type? What is it? If not, pick two opposites on your favorite character list and explain why you like them.

(I'm assuming this is talking about what I look for in a potential significant other.) The three most important things that I look for in a partner are responsibility, reliability, and a meaningful connection. I need someone who is as hard-working and dedicated as I am or else I'm just going to end up immensely frustrated. I also need someone who is not only willing to listen but also actually interested in what I have to say and what I do. I would do the same for them. I just want someone who I can trust and really connect with to the point where I'd be comfortable telling them anything and not have to worry about scaring them away, and I would want them to be able to feel the same way towards me.

9. If your life was to end right now, would you be satisfied?

No. I've accomplished none of my goals and I can't even remember most of my life. If anything, I at least want to find someone to love before I die.

10. Give me a list of your aesthetics.

Polished gemstones, dragons, turtleneck sweaters, colored pencils, and purring cats.

11. What has inspired you the most in your life? It could be a person, a goal, a fandom, etc, but what is it and why?

I'm most inspired by my own goal of writing a successful webcomic. When I was a kid, stories were just about the only thing I really had. I never had a lot of friends growing up, and many of the people I did consider to be my friends ignored me or didn't actually care about me at all. I was always the expendable crew member of every friend group I thought I was apart of. The stories I read and watched kept me happy, and I soon began to make my own. When I first discovered fandoms and saw that I wasn't the only one who loved stories that much, I wanted to try it for myself. I wanted to try to make people happy through my own stories the same way the stories told by others had made me happy. I started my own webcomic five years ago, and I still try to update it once a week. It's hard work, but I've managed to gain a few readers, so it's beginning to pay off.

I saw a moth on my front porch light and it was so determined to Touch That Bulb that it burned itself and fell down and then it got back up again and crawled right into a spider web. I HAVE BEEN SUMMONED

Alright, here we go. First picture: Mikey is showing off some sick tricks with a yoyo he got from a school fundraiser, everyone is impressed and too distracted to realize that Raphael is slowly becoming a frog.

Second picture: Leo fell in a chlorine pool with his eyes open. Someone should probably get him some eyedrops, he is in immense pain.

Third picture: Someone decided to throw a slumberparty and forgot to bring enough sleeping bags for everyone. Mikey and Donnie lost the coinflip and now they have to share.

Fourth picture: Fishman from “The Shape of Water” is about to get his scaly rear handed to him on a silver platter… and he knows it.
