This story is based on a real experience that happened to real people. The names here have been censored to protect the privacy of them. They're not fictional or from any series they are my real friends.
I wrote this story to "cope" basically, as of May 12th, 2025 I'm low spirited from everything. (Silly ik) It's not necessarily perfect in terms of building proper story telling since I'm still tryna censor some stuff butttt yk.. it's something to make me feel a little better..

It was quiet. It's never been this silent in the house before, where were the usual footsteps? The loud "friendly" banter coming from the hallways? The unexpected yet accepted phone calls from the members of the house? it was eerily tranquil.

Ash was there when 𝗶𝘁 happened. His body splayed on the couch cushions without a care in the world, he once hated the tough feel of the stitching but he grew to love it with time. Xavier laid half of his body on Ash's legs, his hands flew in the air as he yapped about his day at school. It was a typical afternoon, no need for anyone's adrenaline to raise. But of course 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 had to transpire. Zin was proud and open about his identity, often buying a few...male ornamental items and showing them off. Everyone was supportive, at least it looked like it on the outside. That's what made the "accidental" misgendering and clear transphobia of Zin the more revolting. Yagi went out of his way to repeat the same mistake—if you could call it a mistake anyways, a mistake is normally when you don't know what you did was wrong, that wasn't the case. Yagi 100% knew what he said was wrong.
"That's just how life is." Yagi shrugged at Xavier and Zin's growing aggravation. Their eyes darkening, the skin on the side of their eyes creasing in frustration. Yagi kept that same empty look on his face, not even an eyebrow raised at their reaction.
"I can call you a girl right?"
"It's just fair, right?"
He couldn't be serious. He had to be joking, but why would you joke about something like that? You haven't known them for that long—you haven't formed a bond with Zin that long enough to establish that sort of connection of joking with him. It's not testing the waters if you say that you were gonna keep calling him a her. Zin was rightfully uncomfortable and a little hurt by Yagi's audacity and cruel words. He held an arm over his chest defensively, his bottom lip trembling in place at every word that left Yagi's lips.
Yagi turned to Ash, a little smirk developing on his face. "See it's possible to piss him off. I just found out, happened right now." He pointed at Zin with his thumb. That's right.. Ash would playfully piss off Yagi, it was in a way to make him confused—he spurted out random nonsense with a straight face and expected Yagi to fully understand him. It was funny watching his face slowly shift into confusion then annoyance. That was the fun part of it, didn't hurt anyone's feelings. Ash wondered if he could get the same thrill pissing off the other members of the house. Reyya? She gets angry too easily. She'd throw a temper tantrum and avoid him from a little joke. Delilah? She's too sweet, like strawberry taffy on a spring day. Or the pure golden sticky honey dripping onto a fuzzy juicy peach. Getting mad didn't even sound like a real thing to her. Xavier? Now that was one he'd have to try..it could be funny—hell he might actually join in with the bullshit for the sake of it. Zin? Can't be possible, he's too positive to piss off surely. Guess Ash was wrong, and Yagi just confirmed it.
"I'm gender and body dysmorphic. You can piss me off in any other way, but just not that, I didn't find it funny." Zin's words were as clear as it could be—surely Yagi would've understood it? "𝗜'𝗺 𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗶𝘀𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗼𝗳𝗳." It wasn't a threat, it was a promise, the giftbox was wrapped with ribbons drenched in poison.
The room was completely silent after that. They all just stared at him, wondering why he would even THINK to say something so hurtful to Zin. "𝗝𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝘀𝘀." Xavier was the first to break the deafening silence. The disgust in his vocalization was easily perceptible. "𝙔𝙤𝙪 can shut the fuck up, cause I'm tired of your shit. You keep crying about every fucking thing like you're a toddler or some shit." Yagi waved his hand dismissively towards Xavier. He couldn't find a fuck to give even if he had a bag of them. "What the hell is happening to you??" Delilah exclaimed, it was the first time anyone's seen her visibly exasperated. "Firstly—you need to apologize to Zin, you don't think he seems upset??"
"𝙃𝙚 𝙞𝙨 upset." Ash immediately spoke up, his eyes didn't dare to look at Yagi anymore. "SHE seems upset, actually no, this 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 is upset. I'm tired of that shit, dysmorphia? Shut the fuck up with that bullshit." Yagi kept at it. Delilah looked at everyone's face for some sort of answer that everyone was silently asking. "I can't tell if he's joking or not." Her slender fingers patted the arm of the couch, hoping to ease her own growing distres from the argument. "Joking or not it's hella fucking disrespectful." Xavier shouted at her, the more he thought about what was said..the more he got angrier.
"Yagi are you okay? Like genuinely." Delilah attempted to reach out an arm towards him, but she hesitated.
"I 𝗔𝗠 fucking okay. Don't ask me if I'm okay, I 𝗔𝗠 okay. I have been and will keep being okay, I'm tired of this bullshit, every fucking thing..my WHOLE life, I'm done. I'm so done."
"None of you will like me, it's over. I've murdered people. I've killed, none of me is fucking real. My fucking name isn't real, my name isn't Yagi." This was the perfect example of a crash out. And no one even took it seriously. "I'm not normal, all of you should know, Ash knows that..I've told him my story—everything." Yagi's unsteady legs brought him to the front door to lock it, Reyya would be coming back from her shopping shortly, he didn't want her to see him like this.
Ash agreed with a simple "Mhm". Cept that was the most disgusted "Mhm" a human being could mutter. A bunch of "why's" blew around from everyone, of course Yagi didn't care enough to give a straight answer, did he ever even care at all? Was this all just a game to him? Ash silently wandered up the stairs into a room that Zin had retreated up to for a clear mind. The two men stared at each other. Neither of them daring to say anything, they just...looked at each other while the yelling continued from downstairs. Ash sat on the comforter next to Zin, he extended his arm around the other. "C'mere." Ash mumbled, his free hand pushing Zin's head to his chest, perhaps for Zin to cry on or to just punch his chest in anger—didn't matter to Ash, he'd accept either one.
Killing 37 people in the spam of 2 years while he's currently 16? It didn't even sound believable. Who the fuck would believe something like that??? Why would Yagi even "admit" to something like that? It wasn't a flex by any means. Xavier was so disgusted he had to cover his lips to keep himself from vomiting at every word Yagi said. He was so..lost. It was hard to believe anyone would willingly want to be friends with him after this. He's so full of himself.

Ash woke up alone, it was still midnight. Yagi wasn't next to him like he usually was in the morning. Zin wasn't next to him either—he could clearly remember both of them making a few jokes about the whole thing to lighten the mood, they even dozed off together. But it seemed like Ash was the only one to doze off. Reyya still couldn't get inside, no one else could unlock the door except Xavier due to such and such and such and such. Ash stumbled off the bed, he tripped over his own two feet while falling down the stairs.
"Sooo."
"Soo..."
"Soooo!"
"Y'all think he still my man?" Ash joked, as he would always. Attempting to lighten up the mood by his childish and definitely gay jokes. "She's about to leave me." Yagi suddenly popped up from nowhere, his hand shaking as he held his phone tightly. His fingers clenching around the plastic phone case. "What did you guys say to her? Who spoke to her?" He was pathetic while panicking like this. Reyya.. she'd of course call or text anyone she could to find out why she was locked outside of the house. God that shit was annoying, his whole demeanor did a whole 180, he didn't want her to find out about this at all. "If..she asks why I locked her out, just talk about my disease, not the serial killer part. Please." It was disgusting. Blaming some shit on a disease like it made you act like that. He didn't want her to know too much but it was obviously too late for that. Everyone brushed his "concerns" off, he didn't deserve an answer.
Ash got a key that night from Xavier. He looked at him with full trust in his smaller eyes. 'Make the right decision.' He was silently telling him to do it. Ash just nodded his head and locked the door, keeping Yagi out permanently. The next morning was silent. Everyone was still on edge, sharing their long paragraphs Yagi sent to them. Ash wouldn't speak to Yagi just yet, he needed a few days to bring himself back together. His heart swelled with sorrow. He took the time to stick a few clues together himself, Yagi liked Reyya. It was.. abundantly clear. The more clues and subtle text he recognized made him mourn even harder. He knew he shouldn't, why would someone like Yagi deserve to be memorialized? Curse the human emotions he had..they screwed up his whole "nonchalant dreadhead" alter ego.
It was quiet. It's never been this silent in the house before, where were the usual footsteps? The friendly banter shouting coming from the hallways? The unexpected yet accepted phone calls from the members of the house, it was eerily tranquil. It would always be. No need to accept something like that back inside. The only thing to fix is to add more members to the house, Ash would do it by himself, he's done it before.
