As someone who recently read Carmilla, is currently reading Dracula and is currently watching AMC’s interview with a vampire show. When are we having the conversation about Vampirism as a metaphor form Homosexuality, like it’s up there with Cannibalism as a metaphor for love. I like to think this is why love triangle teenage aimed vampire shows feel so off because they’re too straight and don’t hold the same impact. Please hall Hear. Me. Out.
