my fave writing reminder
honestly, this phrase has been on my mind more times than i can count. i've kidnapped it, taken it as a hostage with no ransom money because i need it to live permanently in my head.

a book is just chapters. chapters are just paragraphs. paragraphs are just sentences. sentences are just words. it’s all words, that’s all you need. don’t say you can’t write that book, because you can.

Hey, it's me. That WIP you've been thinking about all day. It's time to actually continue writing me.
I know... I know... it's a difficult task, but think about all that potential banger writing you could read after you write it
Wait- No! Don't think about me too hard.
And you're daydreaming. Just great.

We're still going! We run through the month of April and that month is still kicking.
Week 4 Prompts
We're in the home stretch here! April is more than half over, but it's not over yet! There are many more things to write and noodle on. Especially as some of this week's prompts are world building focused.
As a reminder, if you use the hashtags #spring into a story, #springintoastory, or #sias 2025 we'll find it and boost!

Day 3 prompt! - Take a photo on a walk and use it as inspiration. The Adventure List doesn't have Candy's POV, so dropping some here.
-----------
Healing is invisible, Candy thought, staring at the flowers.
Three months ago, this patch of ground had been dead. Brown and ugly, a patch work of leaves and dirt and dirty snow. Now, it had flowers. She walked by here multiple times a week, hadn't even noticed the sprouts. They were under the leaf litter, or so small and pale she didn't notice.
But while Candy might not have noticed this patch of earth recovering from Winter's death, it had healed all the same. She noticed now because the colors grabbed her attention.
She wondered if she was the same, getting over her grief for Andrew. It didn't hurt as much now as in January, and Bryce had stopped obviously avoiding his gaze from Andrew's door.
"What do you think, Andrew?" she said, reaching out to touch a flower. "Are we blooming around your death?"
If Andrew's spirit did visit, it wouldn't be here on the road. It'd be in Bryce's apartment where his ashes sat. But imagining a part of him here helped.
She pulled back up, staring down at the flowers. Spring was in the air, but it didn't feel like a renewal. The shedding of winter. It was just another day. But as these flowers showed, days added up.
