Both ended up in a role serving someone else. Grian unwillingly due to an accident. Martyn happily due to his own choice

Both stayed in their respective right-hand-man roles for the entire season. Grian viewed his situation as an unhappy one and was looking forward to leaving Scar, but still acted as his loyal ally the whole time. Martyn viewed his situation as perfectly acceptable and beneficial, but still planned to betray Ren at some point

Grian never meant to betray Scar, but ended up killing him. Martyn meant to betray Ren, but ended up dying by his side instead

Most of the members of Hermitcraft don’t actually even know what a Watcher is, even the people who are in the Life Series, because it hasn’t ever really been directly relevant to them.

The list of Hermits who know what a Watcher is, either from direct contact or because one of the two from Evo told them are: Grian and Pearl (from Evo), X (who Grian told to warn him incase they showed up on Hermitcraft), Joe and Hypno (Who X told as the backup admins), Gem (who Pearl told just to vent), and Cleo, Joel, and Scar who learned when they won their respective Life Series and had to talk to them.

No one else knows and the ones who do want to keep it that way. They don’t seem to be interested in Hermitcraft at all, especially since Grian runs the Life Series with them. They’re sated by one server to watch Grian experiment on. He’s offered to let Pearl talk to them too to get some closure for Evo but she would rather “walk through lava to cross the Nether” than interact with them directly again after what happened when she won Double Life. All telling anyone else would do is stress them out or anger them knowing that A) A group that likes watching players suffer exists, B) Grian works with them regularly to feed them, and C) A number of them have already been traumatized by the Watchers, if indirectly.
