We all want to forget something, so we tell stories. It’s easier that way. Rashomon (1950)

When one is young, it seems very easy to distinguish between right and wrong. But as one gets older, it becomes more difficult. The villains and the heroes get all mixed up.
Quantum Of Solace (2008, Dir. Marc Forster)

Last but not least, a variant cover by my good friend Andy Balko! I met Andy at a Dr. Sketchy’s event years ago and we’ve been art friends ever since! Find him on Instagram and give him some love! @andybalkoart
So I stole this panel layout from myself… but I really like it and only a small subset of people have seen the original painting or probably notices how I sneaked that painting onto Jaimie’s bedroom wall. Figured that I could reuse it. : )

Pallas of War
Tumblr media
The brighter the ribbons, the greater the clash. A family ruled by the great Pallas father of the floating heavenly rocks within space must keep order among his funding offspring.
A Titan, a man, commands your respect your acknowledgement of who he is. Without him the very nature of the world would be locked, bound will a forever clash of dominating wills trying to subdue each other.
Zeal would emulate victory, strength would be the only mention of power. Might would be over thrown by force, leaving fountain like lakes to swallow the universe whole.
Pallas, keeper of the balance among the stars. A place for each and every piece has a purpose. He guards us from the chaos, protects us from forces we would never be able to with stand. He is the father of war, only on an even grander scale…

Urania as Muse
Tumblr media
Daughter on high, grandchild of the stars creation. Mother of spiritual love, universal holy.
Inherit Majesty and Grace, power and beauty is yours. Dress embroidered in star light, point to your celestial globe, your staff shows the way.
Keep your eyes to the heavens, look to the stars to predict the future. Exhalt all those who follow I your foot steps, place them high among the stars along side you.
These are most dear to you, for it’s a fact that those concerned with imagination and the power of thought lift men’s souls to heavenly heights.
I call to you mother of the stars, I invoke your assistance to guide me in the creation of my own such cosmos. I use your meaning as your name charges me to do so…
