i drew most of these before it clicked with me that he used a fucking tape recorder btw. the . podcast starts with. and the . how did . ...

id seen a couple fan designs but this was my knee-jerk "this guy is so english its ridiculous" design

and this was a rough what-i-thought-Melanie looked like :)

and of course, a bit of daily office shenanigans

i never properly finished tma because the ending was spoiled for me, but im slowly working through it, we win these! ill redo my designs

i will leave it with the note that initially i saw jon as a large man who just hunches over a desk and somehow fits into ridiculous positions (when he gets too into reading) that he should not physically be able to do or be comfortable in, and martin as a grasshopper-ish little scrimbly guy who holds so many small items at once and only looks Vaguely normal because he wears exclusively his dads old clothes (which, yeowch! didnt know about That then! im keeping it though)

but considering canon i think thats Silly
