I see you
I want you to know
Even when you try and calm down
and submerge your feels deep down
The ungrateful world presses forward with spite
pouring gasoline all over to ignite
Forcing you yell and scream as you set youself ablaze
And they point all the fingers saying you're to blame
while in their hands the matches are as clear as day
Shaming, Mocking and Condemming you for no reason
Treating you as though you have committed treason
I want you to know that I see you
Tired and true
I see how far you've worked and how far you've come
I see the diffence between now and when you begun
I see how strong and brave you are for pushing through
I see how great you are for being you
I know your emotions are what you feel
and that they are just as valid as they are real
I know it's not "just all in your head"
Holding down all the words you desperately wish to say
Keeping it all locked inside your brain.
I see how hard you fight to keep control
of the very emotion in your soul.
Even if I don't say aloud
I just want you to know that I'm proud
of who you are
How bright you shine
Even if you don't think what i have said is true
Know that
I see you

Trapped Scream
It’s happening again. The emotions, The  rage. That bubbling hot rage howling beneath your skin yearning for retribution. You want to scream. To let out all the words in your chest and scream. To sob  and wail as you verbally dissect them the way they’ve done to you for years.
So they can feel what it’s like, so that maybe just maybe they’ll finally understand what they’ve been doing to you all these years. You're sick of gliding on eggshells, always having to be in the wrong. You want, no you need to be free.
But you don’t. You can’t. They’ll never understand, egos placed on a pedestal so high even god squints to look up at them. You won’t even get one word in before they attack you, calling you ungrateful. Saying that they’ve done nothing to deserve this disrespect. Glaring at year with eyes that promise a night of pain, their satisfaction in seeing you suffer.
You can’t go through that, not again.
So you hold back your scream.
So you do nothing cause you’re trapped.
You’re not special. You’re not someone with a destiny. No mysterious relative will come for you. No matter how  much your rage screams, no earthquakes or hurricanes will appear. Your world isn’t abnormal. No secret society of hidden gods and even if there were , you wouldn’t be worth a passing glance to them.No matter how hard you wish no one will whisk you away and give you the healthy life you deserve.
There is no escape for you.
No one will believe you.
No one is going to save you
You're just you. Ordinary you who has been holding back for so long and is desperate for release.
Your hands tremble as you squash your rage back into a jar, ignoring its cries once more. You force a smile on your face as you apologise for something that was never your fault to begin with. Rage simmering beneath as you sigh, going up the stairs. Feeling the rage as it  gets stronger each time you push it back, no longer able to be contained. The jar is cracking ever so slowly. One day there’ll be no jar left, only a crushed puddle of glass. The thought both scares and relieves you at the same time
You wipe the tears from your eyes as you vow to never forgive themthat you hate them.knowing you’ll forget by the morning. Knowing the pain will never go away. Perpetually stuck in this hell you were enticed into. Always on edge, never truly safe. You'll smile for the picture, letting the world see your picture perfect family. But deep inside you scream for release.
Always Trapped
