just i love romance in star wars

I want Star Wars to bring back romance.

For a franchise that has its main movies focus so heavily on romance in Anakin/Padme, Han/Leia, and arguably Rey/Ben, they don’t seem to want to put it in any of their shows anymore. Obviously, they aren’t romance movies, and not every story needs a romantic plotline, but it’s so odd to me.

Romance is so absent from recent Star Wars media now. Even when it’s there, it just about never ends well, and as much as I like it when Star Wars is realistic and reflects the real world, people do have happy endings sometimes. People fall in love and get married. Sometimes that means settling down, and sometimes it doesn’t change anything. Especially for a series that loves parenthood so much, you’d expect them to be more open to the idea of people getting together and having children, but it so rarely happens. 

I just want romance in Star Wars.
