Civil War Rant : Spiderman
Who is Spiderman actually in Civil War? Or is he just more than a simple cameo?
In this post we will go through the possibility that he might actually have a bigger role than first interpreted. Lets start out with some facts to fledge out the idea that he’s there. There is actually quite a lot of evidence or facts to why he could and should be in this movie.
The facts:
Marvel acquired spiderman from sony in a deal
Spiderman has a cameo in Civil War
Spiderman is an important character in Civil War comics
TeamIronMan only have 5 people on the team, and not 6
Alright, so here is the short list of facts. Lets go through them one by one.
Marvel acquired spiderman from sony in a deal: A few months ago, Marvel Studios made a deal with Sony where Marvel have the rights to use Spiderman in movies together with other characters. In this case, Civil War (Or Avengers even), and Sony have the rights to use him in standalone movies - Spiderman, Venom, Sinister Six etc. This is a nice thing to know, leading towards the 2 next facts.
SOURCE
Spiderman has a cameo in Civil War: To be fair, Spiderman have already had a “cameo”, in the end of Antman, and if we look at some “reliable sources” like SlashFilms, we can see that a Spiderman Cameo in Civil War is more or less confirmed.
Spiderman is an important character in Civil War comics: For this to play along it might be important to figure out why the Civil War even starts in the Civil War Movie.
In the Civil War Comic, Spiderman is a rather unique character, I would LOVE to sit here and explain in details what and why he is interesting, but honestly I’m a huge fan of Civil War and I really don’t want to spoil it, in hope that people wants to read it! It’s really worth reading! I can however spoil how badass Spidey looks, I doubt he will wear this suit in the movie

I think he looks super badass!
TeamIronMan only have 5 people on the team, and not 6: If you look at the following image, you’ll see what I mean.

Can’t figure it out? Or want an in depth explanation?
So lets take a look at the teams
#teamIronman:
War Machine
Vision
Black Widow
????
Black Panther
Tony Stark(Ironman)
#teamCap
Falcon
Scarlet Witch
Hawkeye
Antman
Winter Soldier
Steve Rogers(Captain America)
These team look rather fair, but there is one thing that makes them unfair, or maybe Antman will just chill and look? I’ve listed them in the order I believe they will fight against each other. Observe.
War Machine vs Falcon - Brothers in arms Vision vs Scarlet Witch - OP Bros (maybe even some romance) Black Widow vs Hawkeye - The crash from the past Black Panther vs Winter Soldier - In theory War Machine and Black panther COULD be swapped, then it would be “Best friend” battle. But it just doesn’t add up in the lineup. My theory is that Spiderman is the missing link, to add some BUG fighting to this movie. I can only imagine Antman jumping around while spidey tries to catch him with his webs!

Civil War theory rant
Here we are! Captain America 3: Civil War. Superbowl TV spot, and boy did that leave us some nice treats!
I’ve been holding back about analysing these trailers for awhile, only because Civil War is my favourite story arch, and I actually wanted to wait and enjoy it in the cinema.
This time I didn't want to do a thoroughly analysis of the trailer. I however wanted to do a little theory crafting about a specific character. The fan favourite Bucky.
In the end of Winter soldier, we see cap meet up with Nick Fury to "finish" SHIELD. Nick heads off to Europe to spy on Hydra. (See start of Age of Ultron as an example of what he finds). Natasha comes into the picture and talks with Cap. She hands him a file in Russian. Inside is information about Bucky. Falcon asks if Cap is going after him and decides to join.
Fast forward to Antman post credit scene. We see Cap and Falcon having captures Bucky in some sort of workshop(torture shop). I assume they are trying to get information out of him or trying to fix Bucky's head. Falcon starts talking about getting help, and cap says they can't get Tony's help. Falcon however knows a guy (Antman).
Fast forward to the Civil War TV spots. In a lot of the clips we see Bucky running around in a red T-shirt. Yes, you are right he is also wearing that red T-shirt in the Antman clip. So this is where the theory crafting in all seriousness begins.
There is a few clues, both from the movie plots description and from the comics. Let's start off by looking at the facts: We know there will be a bad guy in Civil War that isn't either #teamCap or #teamIronman. Baron Zemo. If you are a Captain America fan already you will already known who Zemo is.
But if you aren't: He is a bad guy on the level of Red Skull in regards of villains in Caps story arcs. I personally don't want to sit here and tell his life story, as there is several Zemos and we don't know which one will be in use. My guess is as following. Baron Zemo were a part of the brainwashing of bucky and have left in a "safety" word to reset bucky to a state Zemo can control. Which leads me to why Bucky acts like he does in the trailer. I believe that all the scenes in the red shirt. He is being influenced by Zemo, leading him to explode what looks like an embassy.
After all this mindcontrol of Bucky, I assume Stark will be rather “careful” regarding anything. Cap wants to give Bucky a chance, Tony agrees on one condition. They all sign an accord, where the damage they inflict get justified to them. Cap doesn’t agree - Civil War. I don’t think this is how the last bit will pan out, it seems to “kliche-ish” in my world. This were a little rant of me theory crafting the outcome of Civil War. Thanks for reading! I hope you’ve enjoyed it and if you got any questions, please leave a message in my inbox or tweet me @ thestenkilde

Ant Man Trailer : Analysis
So for this analysis to work as intended, there are a few key points I want to touch upon before I can start explaining the trailer.
Ant Man Origins -
The trailer doesn’t really tell us the origin of Ant Man. I don’t want to sit here and preach about his whole origin story, because neither you nor I have the time to do that. So, I will quickly explain what’s what in the “tiny” world of Ant Man.
In the trailer we are introduced to two individuals as the main good guys. One of them is introduced as Hank Pym, the other as Scott Lang. Both of these characters are at one point in their life Ant Man. Never at the same time. So the trailer suggests that Hank has already been the Ant man (if we follow the comic book example) and Scott is about to become the second. This is more or less correct.
The trailer, however, then goes on to suggest the Ant Man suit wasn't created by Hank Pym but by an evil character. The evil guy’s name is not mentioned in the trailer, however it’s pretty much stated by Marvel who the bad guy is.
So, with these smaller facts put together from the comics and the movie, I want to go ahead and say let's forget all of this for now and start with how Ant Man came to be.
In the 1960s, the character Hank Pym was created and introduced the small but already complex Marvel universe. Hank Pym - or Henry as was his real name (but for consistency we'll keep with Hank) - was an American biochemist and scientific genius with expertise in a wide range of fields from quantum physics to cybernetics. He then invented (or discovered, there is disagreement on this), the special subatomic "Pym Particles." The Pym Particles are particles that can change matter to either grow or shrink in size. It was originally used to shrink, hence where Ant Man comes from. He invented a helmet that made him able to control or communicate with ants.
So that's the short version of how and what Ant Man is.
So let's move onto the second Ant Man, Scott Lang. Scott works as an electronics expert who turns his talents to burglary when he can no longer support his family. It wasn't long before he was caught and sent to prison, but he was released after 3 years for good behaviour. During his time in prison, Scott's wife divorced him. He then spent his time mastering electronics further and soon after his release was hired by Stark Industries. When Scott learns that his daughter has a congenital heart condition, he seeks the help of Dr. Erica Sondheim. Desperately in need of money to pay for her help, he returns to thievery.
From his job at Stark Industries, he learns that Pym Industries have some insane technology, so Scott decides to pay them a not-so-formal visit. Scott breaks into the home of Hank Pym instead of the laboratory. In Hank’s home, Scott finds the Ant Man suit and steals it. Hank sees Scott stealing the suit, but lets him. Hank then disguises himself as his counter alias, Yellowjacket, and follows Scott to observe him and see what he can do with the Ant Man suit.
Scott uses his newly stolen suit to break into another laboratory, the Cross laboratory. While breaking in, Scott discovers that Darren Cross – the owner of the Cross company - was keeping Dr. Erica Sondheim captive to cure his own heart disease. Scott fights Crossfire (Cross's villain name) and rescues Erica who cures his daughter. Scott decides to return the Ant Man suit to Hank, but he tells Scott to keep it as long as he uses it for lawful purposes.
Phew! That’s a lot of text we've just been through! You still with us? Good, lets keep going.
Ant Man trailer analysis -
In the beginning of the trailer we are introduced to the “Super Suit” or the Ant Man suit. It is revealed as a suit that grants its wearer with powers to become as small as an insect but still remain strong. Hank Pym realises that if everyone had access to these “godlike” powers there would be chaos. While this is rolling we have some action scenes going on.
Hank talks to a woman - highly plausible to be the Wasp - whose real name is “Hope Van Dyne (Pym), Scott’s wife. Hope asks, “So how do we stop him,” to which Hank replies, “I know a guy.”
Scott Lang is introduced during a semi “montage” of Scott. I won’t repeat exactly what’s being said as I believe the trailer explains it pretty well by itself. Scott gets introduced to the Ant Man suit, where he gets told by Hope that it has powers and now it is his job to learn how to control them.
We then meet our villain, Yellowjacket , aka Hank Pym. However, this is not Hank Pym. There is another impersonating Yellowjacket.. My guess is that Marvel took a choice and made Yellowjacket a villain instead of being an alias of Hank Pym, considering that Scott Lang is the Ant Man and not Hank. There's a lot of action featured in the trailer, which has really hyped up its audience in how awesome and action-packed this movie is going to be.
In the end of the trailer there is a scene I think is worth watching again and again and I cannot wait to see it on the big screen!

The Infinity Gems

What are the Infinity Gems?
The Infinity Gems? What? Aren’t they called stones?
How do the Infinity Stones work in the MCU?
How will the Infinity Stones be used in the future?
Short introduction.
KEEP IN MIND SPOILERS AHEAD
** If you haven't watched any Marvel movies including, Captain America the first Avenger. Thor: The Dark World and Guardians of the Galaxy, I highly suggest you watch them before reading! Thank you! **
If a post has a ( C ) after it, it means that it is a section dragging information mainly from the comics. If the post has a ( M ) after it, it means it is a section dragging information mainly from the movies.
What are the Infinity Gems? ( C )
The infinity gems are 6 gems (stones in the MCU, keep this in mind) each containing extraordinary powers.
To quickly go through them, the powers of the gems are:
Soul Gem
Power Gem
Time Gem
Reality Gem
Space Gem
Mind Gem
The Soul gem has the power to consume and control souls. The wielder of the gem will have full protection towards soul-based attacks.
The Power gem gives the wielder access to all power that has ever existed and ever will exist.
The Time gem controls the power of manipulating time of the past, present and future. The wielder gets the ability to change those, and the wielder also obtains the possibility to foresee future events.
The Reality gem gives the wielder the ability to (you guessed it!) change reality. Reality-changing subjects could be stuff like 2+2 = 5 (being true and not just a joke), or “smaller” uses could be resurrecting the dead.
The Space gem gives the wielder the ability to change space. The most basic application for this gem is teleportation through space. It will also allow the wielder to be shown in multiple places at once (Illusions).
Finally, the Mind gem gives the wielder psionic powers like telepathy and mind control.
This sums up the powers of the Infinity Gems in short. There is of course way more to them than I have told. A big thing about them is the addition of the “Infinity Gauntlet”. Yes there is also a gauntlet in the equation.

The Infinity Gauntlet ( C )
So what does this Infinity Gauntlet actually do? The gauntlet is best described as a “harness” for all the power the gems contain. If you collect all the gems, and insert them into the gauntlet, you will obtain unlimited power. You can literally do whatever comes to your mind. Want to wipe out half of the Universe? Sure, go ahead. The gauntlet can do that.
The first story arc featuring the Infinity Gauntlet isn't the first about the gems, but the remaining two stories regarding the gems are of little importance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe anyway. So ignore the fact that there are two stories before this. The initial story arc I will focus on is the first one, which contains the gauntlet as mentioned earlier. It starts with the mad Titan Thanos. Thanos is a titan from the planet (you guessed it!) Titan! Thanos starts collecting the gems to gain incredible powers. It is then he learns that the gems are not just gems, but remnants of one of the oldest beings in existence. The being became lonely and split itself into 6 pieces, leaving its powers divided. After collecting all the gems, Thanos obtains the gauntlet and merges them together.
In Infinity War, Thanos falls in love with Death herself, and to prove to Death that he is worthy of her love, Thanos uses the glove to remove half of the universe from existence, thus making Thanos the most omnipotent being in the Universe. A lot of our known Avengers - and also not well known Avengers - die in the war against Thanos. In the end Thanos is beaten, but that is a story for another time.
The Infinity Gems? What aren’t they called stones? ( C & M )
So far i’ve mentioned The Infinity Gems a LOT, but the truth is this is only the name used in the comics. The movie version is named Infinity Stones, for whatever reason we can only speculate, but perhaps stones just “flows” better with what Marvel have planned for us so far.
How do the Infinity Stones work in the MCU? ( M )
To understand how the Infinity Stones work in the movies, we need to know which artifacts we have seen so far as the Infinity Stones.
The Tesseract (Captain America / Avengers)
The Aether (Thor: The Dark World)
The “orb” (Guardians of the Galaxy)
These are the three we are 100% certain about. Rumours and speculation say that Loki’s Chitauri scepter also is an Infinity Stone, but I don’t believe so. If the scepter is connected to the stones, then it draws power from the Tesseract, which is also the reason why they are shown in the same movie (Avengers).
How do we know these three are Infinity Stones? Simple, in the movie Guardians of the Galaxy, there is a scene where they deliver the orb to The Collector, who tells a short story about the origin of the stones. The story says that the stones are six singularities that existed before the beginning of the universe. Once the universe was created they scattered. The stones are able to be “re-molded” so to speak, so it’s possible for the wielder to change the form of the stone he possesses. The first creatures to wield the gems were the Celestials. A very old alien race, they used the powers of the stones to conquer many planets. At some point the celestials lost control of the stones and the power of the stones were collected by lesser beings (In the mind of a celestial) like Dark elves and Asgardians.
In the post credits for Thor: The Dark World, we see Sif and one of the warriors 3 deliver the Aether to The Collector. The warrior states that it’s “too dangerous to keep two Infinity Stones so close to each other”, as the Tesseract is locked away in Asgard.
The proof that the Tesseract and the Aether is also an Infinity Stone is actually not told, only shown. It could simply be an easter egg to “trick” the average nerd like me, or it could be a legit hint to show what’s up in the future.

This image is from Guardians of the Galaxy. The Collector is telling his story about the stones. In the image we see red “strings”, which sort of looks like veins: this is the Aether. Behind Peter Quill (Star Lord) we can see a blue “bubble”: that’s the Tesseract. You can see it more clearly if you watch the movie, but this was in my opinion the best image I could snatch from it.
How will the Infinity Stones be used in the future? ( M )
So, to truly understand how the stones will be used in the following Marvel movies, we have to understand the movie list so far. If you haven’t seen the movie list, let me present it:

As you can see, Marvel have planned all the way till 2019, which is a very loooooong time. So they are not being short-minded with the films they create.
A few reminders on the list that I would like to point out, as I believe they show good possibilities of showing an Infinity Stone or explaining the truth about them even further. The movies I believe will be subject for a possible story arc revolving around the Infinity Stones are the following:
Avengers Age of Ultron (this is a very, very, very, very low possibility but it could be pretty badass)
Guardians of the Galaxy 2 (this is pretty “obvious” as we are already in the cosmic universe where the stones come from)
Dr Strange (Dr Strange is a part of Marvel’s “mysterious” universe, so it wouldn’t surprise me if we see something regarding the stones here)
Captain Marvel (Captain Marvel is also in Marvel's cosmic universe, so we might see something regarding gems here, as they are a driving force for the comics)
Infinity War (both parts funny enough! These movies will revolve around Thanos, all the Infinity Stones and the
What should be the next subject to touch upon? Anything specific regarding the Marvel Cinematic Universe you want me to pick up and walk you through? Leave me a message here or on Facebook.

Avengers Age of Ultron Trailer : An analysis!
Here we go again!
Another trailer, in under 2 weeks I have been swept off my feet by Marvel! Two trailers! First Ant Man and now Age of Ultron, and with the Super Bowl around the corner I hope to see more (probably a small teaser for one of the movies next year).
**SPOILERS AHEAD, STAY BACK IF YOU DON'T WANT ANYTHING SPOILED**
But that is not why we are here! A few notes before we begin (I made a nice bullet list, Heehee)
Still no vision
A good look of Ultron (In various versions)
New Ironman suit (happy face)
HULK BUSTER (F*** YEAH)
Hulk bewitched?
Who is Andy Serkis?
Arhh yes, a few points to pick up. Some of them are just notes and will not be touched upon in this post, while some will be! So let's begin!
If anything written in this post doesn't make sense, please ask questions, I'm happy to explain!
In the start of the trailer, we see Hawkeye escorting civilians into an aircraft (looks like S.H.I.E.L.D tech to me). Something has clearly attacked this city. Meanwhile, we hear Tony Stark proclaim "This vulnerable world? Needs something more powerful than us". I believe this is a precursor towards having a reason to craft Ultron from his father’s drawings(look at my Ant Man posts if this confuses you).
After the speech from Tony, we are introduced to Captain America as well as Hawkeye in his new suit.
We then hear a voice (which is Ultron, I'm sure) say, "everyone creates the thing they dread", while we see Tony walk into what looks like a workshop and a quick cut to a destroyed Ultron (Old Iron Man suit), glowing up while it possibly rebooting. We then cut to the clip we have seen a million times; Ultron walking into the party to the beat of the music in the background. Bruce Banner looks to someone (Tony Stark is my guess).
"Ultron?" he asks. Tony looks confused. Ultron then replies, "In the flesh." (I think it is Ultron’s voice, since it doesn't sound like Bruce Banner).
The trailer then cuts to an explosion, which then again quickly cuts to a short shot of the Twins, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, followed by a shot of Bruce Banner fumbling around in a lab follows. We get a quick shot of his eyes; They are green and he looks angry (be careful of the Hulk!).
While we are watching the beautiful eyes of Bruce Banner, Nick Fury starts to talk. While he is talking, we cut to a scene of him and a woman by some water. Nick Fury says, "No matter who wins or loses, trouble always comes around".
Phew!
That was a tough one! So far we have gone through only 40% of the trailer and we...haven't even touched the surface of all the cool stuff going on!
So let’s just continue.
The lady at the water! Who is she? What is her purpose? To start off, I want to admit I have no idea who she is. However! I do have two theories as to who she could be. These are just speculations, so don't go too hard on it as facts!
Dora Milaje theory:
What is a Dora Milaje? Dora Milajes are Royal Bodyguards recruited from each tribe of Wakanda. They protect T'Challa (Black Panther) with their lives. They are not only bodyguards, but also what people call, "The Perfect Women of Wakanda", and they are suited to become the next queen of Wakanda. By the look of the character I think this is the true theory; looks African and has golden tattoos, which is what Wakandian women are known for.
Ragnarok (Hel) theory:
Up next is a more abstract theory in my world, (again it's a theory, so take it lightly!). Ragnarok! In Norse mythology, Ragnarok is the end of everything and the rebirth of a new world. Hel is a Norse goddess who presides over the realm by the same name, Hel. Hel is the Norse version of Hell. Hel receives a portion of the dead people in the world. Hela, however, is the Marvel version of the same character, and she is presumed to be visible at Ragnarok at Thor's death.
After the scene with the unknown women, we see a new clip of Tony standing over Ultron. We hear Thor speak and we pan to Thor. Thor cries "You're meddling with things you don't understand". This line of dialogue could refer to the scepter from the first Avengers movie, the Tesseract which, if you don't know, is an Infinity Stone from Guardians of the Galaxy), or just the Infinity Stones in general. After the dialogue, we quickly cut to Scarlet Witch shooting a "bolt" of her magic. This is cut together with a clip of Iron Man being smashed into a metal door. Note this is NOT Scarlet Witch's doing. It's probably Ultron doing a laser show.
The next thing we see is a headshot of Natasha Rumanoff (Black Widow) reflecting "We have no place in this world", followed by what looks like some kind of surgery. This is the surgery I believe took place while she was in KGB. I have said in my other post about Age of Ultron that Scarlet Witch puts the Avengers under a “spell”. Perhaps that will show them visions about their past and or future. This could be Rumanoff’s vision, her being reminded about her past.
The next shot we see is Ultron flying around, some explosions, a flying van and BOOM, new Iron Man suit action (yay!). Quickly, we go to a few officers hiding behind a car, which is then swiftly kicked by the Hulk! We then cut to a few scenes with Rumanoff. The first is a “butt shot” as I like to call it, from the waist below, and then a headshot of her turning her head to us and looking at something. After the 2 shots with Rumanoff we got to one of my favourite scenes in this trailer! We see Andy Serkis! Without any CGI, wuuuh! There is a HUGE hint towards what character he is playing! But first, a few quick facts about Andy Serkis in the Marvel Universe. We know he is playing a villain, and it has been strongly rumoured who he will be. But now the rumours - or proof, if you will - is overwhelming! Around his neck is a Claw. Yes! A claw! That sounds really lame, right? But I think we should see this on a really, really low "baby level". What Marvel villain goes hand in hand with the word "claw"? That is, of course, Ulysses Klaw! Read my blog about Age of Ultron to get some back story about Klaw.
We then cut to a few action scenes with a fighter jet and Captain America fighting a version of Ultron. After that clip, we see Hulk, Rumanoff, and what people think is a "love scene": We see them touch hands. This is quickly interrupted, however, by Ultron saying one of my favourite lines of all the Marvel movies:
"I will tear you apart... from the inside".
While Ultron utters this, we see a clip of him using his Red Sith powers and shooting a laser (it’s not really Sith powers but it sounds cool!). We also see Thor, either getting hit by thunder, or trying to control thunder without Mjolnir. Despite what people in the Marvel Universe believe, Mjolnir is not the object making Thor able to control elements. He is able to control elements himself and thunder is one of the elements he can control. Mjolnir just makes the task “easier”. We then see an unknown woman turn her head, which quickly cuts to Thor grabbing Tony Stark by his throat and pulling him up, and seemingly threatening him. Could it be because Tony created Ultron?
After that, we cut to a scene where we see a motorbike (Rumanoff is on the motorbike), and a car flying around while the Earth cracks and THEN; Hulkbuster! There are some badass introduction scenes of Hulkbuster and a scene where Hulk smashes the Hulkbuster with what looks like a piece of meta. We then fade to black and the “scene” switches. We see the Avengers gathered, who appear to have been fighting(Ultron probably!). It cuts to Rumanoff who says, “Oh boy”, which I believe is a comment to Ultron coming back even after he should have been dead.
We then cut to another scene with Hulk. This time he charges towards the camera, before the scene cuts to the Hulkbuster clashing together with the Hulk and a long scene of them fighting. we end with a cut of Hulk looking towards the camera with red eyes! I believe he is being possesed by the Scarlet Witch, perhaps an entry lead for Doctor Strange to be brought into the MCU (Not that he will be brought in this movie but in a later movie, for example his own movie).
The trailer closes with the movie title and a quick look at Ultron.

Ant Man : My theory about the movie
So, Ant Man!
I already wrote a blogpost more or less explaining the character but that doesn't cover my main theory about how I think the movie will more or less pan out. So here we go! ***SPOILER ALERT*** - Read on your own risk to possibly have a movie ruined***
Ant Man is a special and weird character yet important as I noted in my other post. So to understand how he works and what he will do we need to learn pre-story about him. So I recommend you either read a wiki post about Hank Pym or read my other blog post.
Enough of the pre post stuff, let's rock!
In the Ant Man trailer, we hear a character speak to Scott Lang, I assume it's Hank Pym. So right off the bat, we have two characters who in the end will have been / become Ant Man.
Hank asks Scott for help, as Hank is now becoming an old man. My believe so far is that, Hank Pym will be tangled in together with Agent Carter, which is also why they did show the Ant Man teaser trailer after the first episode of Agent Carter. Both to get it out, build hype but also to kind of tease where he belongs. Thats what I believe so far at least.
Hank needs Scott to become Ant Man to help him, Hank needs Scott to become the hero Scott's daugther already think he is. To save the earth(I believe thats what he say in the trailer I quite can't hear if it's earth or theirs, I believe it's earth)
So, lets talk about a bad guy? There is a few guesses(Rumours?) to who the bad guy is. A lot of things are pointing towards Yellowjacket, but if we have Yellowjacket as the bad guy it would mean that Hank Pym becomes a bad guy. That part would also fit the fact that Marvel usually have the bad guy voice the trailer, or some sort of bad guy voice the trailers. YET! I don't think Hank Pym will be our Yellowjacket, we have a character called Darren Cross who in the comics are only in like 2 issues, so he's not a big character story wise, but he is pretty cool and many people think he is a sweet character and build nice even though he is so short in the story!
Who is Darren Cross you ask? Darren Cross is the owner of a company called Cross Technological Enterprises.
There is not much information about the company, but Darren made it all by himself, took it to the top and started competing with the high end competitors which was his dream. However, Darren have a terrible heart disease (How inconvenient), he uses his own technology to create a nucleorganic pacemaker to save his life. However this nucleorganic pacemaker mutated his body into some odd hulk look alike thing. He changes hearts several times through heart transplants. But all the hearts he swapped into got overused so fast due to the mutation of his body. He later kidnapped a doctor - Doctor Erica Sondheim, and he kidnapped "donors" or thats what he calls them from slums around different cities.
However, Ant Man is also looking for Doctor Erica Sondheim because she is the only one who can save his daughter. They have a big fight, which leads to Darren Cross dying in the end because of a heartattack.
So there we have it, the backstory of Darren Cross. I think that in Ant Man (Movie) Darren Cross will turn out to be Yellowjacket and a similiar story will unfold. Which leads me back to the trailer. Hank tells Scott that he will be able to see his daugthers eyes again. Does that mean that he can't go near hear because he was in jail (refer to the start of the trailer where he is transported) or does that mean she is deadly sick and can't see him?
However, this is all just speculations and no one really knows how the outcome will be yet, all we can do is guess and hope we hit something correct!
Thats all I have today! If you have any questions feel free to send me a question and i'll try to answer it as good as possible!

Ant Man!
Who is Ant Man and what role will he play in the MCU? Many people don’t know much about this character and many people think they only made Ant Man as a filler character. But in the “real world”, Ant Man should be super important character, especially if they follow the comics, which i’m pretty sure they do!
If you haven't seen the trailer it's right here

In the movie, we won’t follow Hank Pym, Hank Pym will be a character n the movie, but not the main character we follow. We will follow Scott Lang, who in the comics is also Ant Man at one point. I don't want to spoil the character of Scott Lang, as the movie will explain that pretty well (As far as the teaser shows)
In the comics, Ant Man is the main factor for creating Ultron. In the comics, Ant Man, or Hank Pym which is his real name as a scientist, has invented a particle called the “Pym Particle”. This particle is what makes him able to become larger or smaller. He also makes AIs to help humanity; one of these AIs, is Ultron.
Hank Pym creates Ultron as an experiment with High Intelligence robotics to help humanity and the Avengers. Ultimately, Ultron rebels against Pym, and hypnotizes and brainwashes him into forgetting that he ever existed. In the comics, he then organises the re-incarnation of “The Master of Evil” under the alias “Crimson Cowl”. Unfortunately, this story isn't going to be a part of the MCU, so hopefully this will be a story for another time.
In the MCU we know that Ant Man: The movie will come after the Age of Ultron movie, and we know that Ant Man will be the end of Phase 2. So the question is, what will happen in Ant Man? My theory goes like this.
In Age of Ultron we know Tony Stark built Ultron (or an early version of him at least, as Ultron keeps upgrading and copying himself). I believe it will be through some old schematics of his father’s. In Ant Man, we will possibly see Stark’s father and Hank Pym work together on some AI technology, which will explain why Tony has access to these old schematics from his father.

Phase 2 : Age of Ultron continued and Ant Man
The Twins
At the end of Captain America: The Winter Soldier we see “The Twins”, Wanda (Scarlet Witch) and Pietro (Quicksilver), or the Maximoff twins as they are called. Quicksilver is super fast, while Scarlet Witch is what many people will call a reality bender. In the comics she destroyed a building just by wanting it destroyed, and she started the Kree invasion just by wanting the Kree invasion to happen. The Kree is the alien race which Ronan is a part of. They love war and destruction. (The Kree invasion is another subject I'd like to touch upon, but think it will be too vast to cover in this post.)
So in the trailer, we snippets as to what their powers do. We don’t see much of Quicksilver (his powers are more or less self explanatory), but we do get to see more of what Scarlet Witch is capable of. She is the more complex of the twins, in my opinion. In the trailer we see some hints as to her “Reality bending” powers. We see Captain America back in time with Peggy, although it's only for a split second before we are then shown Captain America's shield, broken. If you have seen the leaked version of the Age of Ultron video, this was shown at the event as well. Tony Stark asks Steve Rogers, “What did she show you?”, implying that they all had a vision. They also talk about Thor leaving to figure out things. My bet is that he won’t be there for a good chunk of the movie as he have left to Asgaard. Maybe Wanda showed him Loki taking over Asgaard? (Hint to Thor 2: The Dark World). Captain America doesn’t want to speak about his vision. Stark doesn’t like that, as he don’t trust people without a “dark side” as he calls it.
Ant Man
Who is Ant Man and what role will he play in the MCU? Many people don’t know much about this character and many people think they only made Ant Man as a filler character. But in the “real world”, Ant Man should be super important character, especially if they follow the comics, which i’m pretty sure they do!

Phase 2 : Age of Ultron
This will be the first post about Age of Ultron from Phase 2
Age of Ultron Trailer
Age of Ultron
In the trailer, there are a few things I would like to point out and use these as arguments for what will happen and why it will happen through the rest of Phase 2 and 3.
The first thing we see in the trailer is a skyline. A quick cross check through google shows that it’s the skyline of Johannesburg (South Africa). I have a theory, especially after the reveal of Phase 3, that Kevin Feige is telling us that Black Panther has already been teased in the MCU (maybe in this trailer, i’m pretty sure. I will come back to this). So if you don’t know who Black Panther is, let me try to explain it briefly. If you know who Black Panther is, feel free to skip.
Black Panther
The Black Panther, or T'Challa is the first biological son of T'Chaka, King of the African Nation of Wakanda. His mother, N'Yami, died during childbirth and his adopted older brother, Hunter, blamed him for her death. His second mother, Ramonda, left the family when T'Challa was only eight, and when he was in his teens, his father T'Chaka was murdered by Klaw (a mercenary) over the rare metal Vibranium, only found in African Country of Wakanda. He started training himself with one purpose in mind; take revenge. Klaw was later driven away after almost being killed by T’Challa, though Mr. Fantastic prevented him from doing so.
This is a picture of Ulysses Klaw(Andy Serkis in the movie)
Back to Age of Ultron
In the story of the Black Panther, there are a few things we should focus on looking at in the Age of Ultron trailer. First, Vibranium! This super rare metal is used for Captain America’s shield, which is why it cannot break. The only thing that can break Vibranium is other sources of Vibranium. At the end of the Age of Ultron trailer, we see Captain America's shield being broken shield being broken. This supports my theory that Ultron will most likely douse himself in Vibranium to become more durable during his upgrades.
The other thing we should keep an eye on is Klaw. We see Klaw in his human form during the trailer(1.30). Here is a picture to compare. He is also quite easy to find in the trailer so just look around, he is there I promise.
Klaw is a mercenary / assassin ordered to kill the Black Panther (T’Chaka, the king), so he can get hold of Vibranium for his client. He hid under the floor of the castle in Wakanda and killed T’Chaka, but was injured by the young T’Challa and had to escape.
My guess is that in the MCU version it will play out differently, but we know for sure that both T'Challa and Klaw will be in Age of Ultron. In the trailer we have seen Klaw, and Kevin Feige (Kevin Feige is the president of the Marvel Studios) unveiled at the press conference that Black Panther will be revealed and appear for the first time in full costume in the Civil War movie.
