OMG I literally JUST finished re-reading this fic!!! It's "Don't Talk of Stars Burning Above" by DarkJediQueen

I've bene looking for a fic I read a while ago in ao3 and cannot find again.

It was a Heid fic where Jack is non verbal After WitSec and Haley's death so Aaron asks for Spencer's help in learning sing language to better comunicate with Jack. Spencer Is also non verbal and he doesn't work at BAU (but he does work for the FBI).

i am so excited to announce that i will be taking hotchreid fic requests!

there will be five slots and it's first come first served!

requests will open on the 30th of June and close on the 11th of July.

i will start posting fics from the 15th of July.

the main pairing will always be hotchreid but if you want me to add a background ship then i can try to work that in.

I don't want any one of them killed off, Will was enough. HOWEVER, as much as it hurts my heart to say, Rossi is likely the closest to a "natural" death (as opposed to a work-related death in the field)... and if it were Rossi's funeral, Hotch would absolutely be there. Well, he better be.

Who do we kill to get hotch to actually come instead of just sending a bouquet. I don't care take anyone. Penelope put your hands up.

The man has Aspergers. As someone who ALSO has Aspergers (hi hello thats me), we cannot always communicate our words well. If everyone had paid attention to his full gesture, he starts off with his hand on his heart and then throws his arm out. He does that a couple times. AND THEN he says "my heart goes out to you." THE GESTURE IS SIMILAR TO BLOWING A KISS!!! Except his gestures is to throw his heart out to the crown in appreciation of their support!

I know he knew he had a lot of supporters, but I doubt he was ready for or expecting such a big reaction from the crowd. I imagine that had to be overwhelming, and combining that with the high emotions of inauguration day... well I know he's had years of experience in speaking in front of crowds, but that HAD to have been supremely overwhelming. For me, if I were in his shoes, I would have reacted the same way: being so overwhelmed that your speech is robbed and you default to body language and gestures to show your gratitude and appreciation while the speech center of your brain is trying to catch up.

I thought were all against bullying people with a disability......

He is not a saint by any means, but HE IS NOT A FUCKING NAZI. JESUS CHRIST.
