turns out i was dead wrong 💀

after ep 8??? girl… it clicked. i knew Ramil loved Paytai, but one thing kept bothering me:

why didn’t he defend him from his father’s abuse?? like HELLO?

but this episode basically told me to shut up and watch.

turns out he’s been trying to protect him this whole time. standing up to his dad. risking everything. i just didn’t see it before.

and THEN. the NC scene.

when Ramil flashes back to Paytai getting whipped?? and realizes that even if this moment is supposed to be consensual, he’s not okay repeating that trauma.

like the shift??? from “i want you” to “i don’t wanna become my father” to “let’s make love instead of reenacting violence”??? chef’s actual kiss.

that scene changed the whole dynamic and i’m still recovering.

i’ll do another post on the NC scene specifically bc that caught me OFF GUARD 😭😭

also.

the acting??? unreal.

you could feel Jimmy’s desperation. Ohm’s pain? the sorrow in his eyes??? no this was personal.

let’s talk about ramilpaytai.

i’ll be real — at first i was not on board. the dynamic was off. weird vibes. Ramil was giving “entitled royal who thinks control = affection.” the way he used his power over Paytai made me uncomfortable. like. the collar in the car???gurls???

but then came episode 6.

the glass drop.

the kiss.

and oof — that kiss was not normal TV drama. it was raw. it was charged. it was possessive, intense, like Ramil was saying “you’re mine” without a single word. i felt like i shouldn’t be watching but couldn’t look away.

but the real plot twist?

Paytai’s smirk.

after all that, he smirked. not scared, not angry, not confused. no. he looked satisfied.

he wanted that.

he’s not some poor trapped soul waiting to be rescued.

he knows what he’s doing. he chose this. he chose him.

and now i don’t know whether to be scared for them or obsessed with them.

probably both.

and i just want to say this because its been on my mind for a few weeks now and its the way kpop stan’s treat skz in general … am i about to sit here and say stays are angels?? absolutely fucking not , never in a million years would i ever say this , but this has been going on for years , the constant bullying , making fun of them , the body shaming of changbin , the lies spread about hyunjin , the weird things said about felix and his relationship with the ppl he’s around and many other things with the other members .. but not only that , the disgusting lies spread about bc , saying he’s a pedo , manipulative or his relationship with stays are weird when the entire time it’s a normal relationship. they say the flirty stuff he does is inappropriate because of minor fans … fan service? the thing every idols do? get paid to do? why is he being called that when he’s never engaged with minor fans like that . they recently did the same thing with han and the boy from nexz , and a few years ago with felix . pls don’t say it’s because of their problematic past because that’s bs .

growing up with idols like jonghyun who frequently spoke up for groups of people who didn’t have a voice despite the culture that he grew up in, despite many of his opinions being taboo to the general public in the country he lived in, it’s really hard to accept the fuckass ‘they can’t do/say anything or even apologize for their actions’ excuses from fans of these current groups. the large majority of these idols look lame as fuck in his light.

First of all — gays, girls, and theys, we are SO back. That trailer??? Ate. Left no crumbs. Served, devoured, came back for seconds.

• Charlie babe angst? Obviously. That was expected — the tears, the brooding looks, the emotional damage? We’ve been knew.

• But Babe CHEATING on Charlie??? BABE. Not you making me throw my 2025 bingo card in the trash. I did not see that betrayal arc coming. My delusions were NOT prepared.

• Jeff and Alan giving soft launch-married energy — like be honest, they’re one argument away from a couple’s therapy session and two from eloping.

• The lab plotline?? Creepy. Mysterious. Potentially unhinged. I am LOCKED IN. Inject that mess directly into my bloodstream.

• I’m already shipping 3 couples and the season hasn’t even dropped yet. The way I’m gonna be clowned when half of them implode by episode 4? Love that for me.

• New couples, new drama, same mess — we’re eating GOOD this season.

Honestly, this season looks exceptional with a capital E. The drama, the vibes, the potential breakdowns??? I’m emotionally invested and the show hasn’t even aired yet. I’m READY. No crumbs, no peace, just chaos and gays.
