Finally got my hands on the Forest app. AND I LOVE IT!! It’s great to see your Study sessions visiualized. As you can see I had quite a study session today and I’m not even done. And I still have quite a lot to do.

Dutch Door System

Hey Guys I just wanted to share with you how I like to take notes for any Subjects related to Languages, I like using the Dutch Door System, basically you cut thru your Notepadpaper so you have two sections within one Notepad page( you can vary the ratio however you prefere). I like to use the top section for vocabulary and the lower section for any kind of notes I find Important regarding eacht Lesson. Since you have two independent sections you can go back to lesson 1 Vocabulary while working on another Lesson. I find this method very helpfull. I can also see this method working on other Subjects like Biology, Geograpy basically anything where you have to memorize things.

Dedicated my 3 hour study session to study Korean. I wanted to try the TTMK books since I don’t have time to visit any classes. I started from the very start again. Revison doesn’t hurt! But I like the books especially the workbooks. I just love workbooks in general. I actual wished that they would add more exersices but maybe It just seems to me like that beacause I’m already familiar with the topics.

So apparantly If I start studying Math first I get nothing done, because I’m so bad at it and it takes me extra long to understand anything. So today I started studying other subjects first and lord behold I got much more down than usually. It’s not like that I will study math last from now on, but sometimes you have to get other things done so you don’t fall behind. Oh and I love my new study area, it’s so much better to be away from that heater. (I need to start to put Numbers properly in their designated square  o,O)

I had no Uni today, so I spend the entire day with studying. ‘til I got to the point that I needed to reposition my Desk. Since it’s currently cold in germany(my room is even colder), I have to put the heater on. But my since my desk was right at the window (heaters in germany are usually right below the window) I felt like I was steamed during my study sessions at home. I always put it off because I felt like I was running away from studying if I started rearranging my room but sometimes you got to do what you got to do. So I decided to reposition my room and just switched my bed with my desk. Now I will get steamed when I sleep but I don’t mind. (sorry for having such an ugly mousepad)

Soooo... no picture for today. Studied math today again. It seems like I only study math the entire time but it also is the most complex subject. I have been neglecting my other Subjects tho and that’s a very bad thing. It’s not that I don’t have a Study schedule but it only tells me when to study. I think I need to redo my schedule and start planning a little more detailed. like what to study at what time. I can’t go on studying only math I have Exams in other Subjects too. I just wanted to share what I’m dealing with at the moment. Any Suggestions are welcome ^^

Had a library study session today. It was very cold today and I wasn’t feeling well. But I still managed to get up and study a little bit more at home. very proud of myself. Tried to book a study room in the library but they were gone in 38 seconds. 38 seconds can you believe this???? Felt like I was ordering Kylie Jenner Lipkits all over again... huge dissapointment. Despite my crappy day I wish you a successful and productive day.

helloooo guys. so I just wanted to stress today how important it is to study at a clean area today. I’m myself more of a messy person( as you can see in the before picture, don’t judge XD) when it comes to my room and I’m also easy to distract while studying (one of the reasons I like to study in  the library). so if you have a desk full of clutter and stuff that is not related to your studies, it is a given that I will not get anything done. Take that extra time before studying to clean up your desk. if you are anything like me, it would be a great improvement in your study routine.

Had a study session with my best friend. I usually like to study on my own. It’s less distraction and I’m easy to distract .... but we got a lot done, maybe because we don’t study the same thing. She is more into languages and I’m more the scientific kinda girl. Concentrated on Math today. So  I hope you guys had a productive day too...

Heyy!! 1/10th of the Challenge is done!!! If you figure out your Goals, this Challenge will not be that hard. you just have to do Something, and that’s better than doing NOTHING and that’s the most of us begin with (at least that’s where I started)! I revised some Korean in bed and had to work ‘til 9PM. I was Productive today but I’m hella tired now.

Pretty sure my dreams of becoming a civil engineer never looked further away than when I walked out of my first calculus test the other day. *cries* Will just push on, hey?

Well I took a break from everything for a couple of days. Finished all my exams for this Semester and I decided to take on my Korean studies again. The first picture shows the Korean books I use. There are not many korean learningbooks in German but I can recommend them to any German who is learning Korean. Studying Korean and Titanic on TV... what else is there in life.
