Complete crack reason, but I have to get this down.

Imagine the reason Penelope went to war instead of Odysseus is because for some reason baby Telemachus.

Imagine Penelope finally having a baby, and it's a beautiful boy, and he gets ready to take care of them, as it is her duty as a wife.

Telemachus, though, hates everyone. Like will scream himself blue if anyone holds him or cares for him.

I'm talking like this boy will actively object to living if someone is trying to take care of him.

Except for Odysseus, for his father Telemachus, is a little angel.

When Odysseus is called for war, they realise that if they want Telemachus to actually survive the the king can't leave.

So when Palamedes comes to collect him, instead of trying to prove Odysseus has gone mad. They instead have him stay the night with Penelope and Telemachus and have him listen to the little prince object to being cared for by his mother.

Two nights later and Penelope is allowed to take Odysseus's place for the sake of his kingdom's ears.

Possible Penelope Warrior AUs

(I haven't read The Odyssey or anything to do with Homer!Odysseus. All my thoughts and characters are inspired by the epic musical.)

I love the idea of the Penelope Warrior AU, but it's very hard to think of a viable reason Penelope would take Odysseus's place in such a patriarchal time.

One idea is that if Odysseus is severely maimed by Athena's boar, and while he remains her champion, he's significantly disabled with a severe limp. Fearing Odysseus will be killed because of his obvious weakness, Penelope takes his place, Mulan style.

Another is if Odysseus is very badly injured early on in the Trojan War and is sent home to recover. Of course, someone still needs to help with the war in his place and with Telemachus still a baby, it's up to Penelope to take her husband's place and help save Helen.

An idea I had is similar to the second idea. During Palamedes' visit something happens while saving Telemachus from the plough that causes Odysseus to almost lose his left arm. Now this is really bad, for one, Odysseus is really badly hurt. Too hurt to make the trip to Troy, especially if he wants to keep his arm. The other problem is that Odysseus is left-handed. Palamedes not only almost killed Telemachus, he now also crippled the person he was meant to bring to war.

Realising he's now got to do something and fast, Palamedes remembers that Penelope is a previous princess of Sparta. He threatens her that if she doesn't come to Troy with him, then he will drag Odysseus there, injury or not.

Seeing no other option, Penelope agrees to go to Troy, leaving Odysseus home to recover and raise Telemachus. Seeing no other option, Odysseus begs Penelope to go to the temple and pray for a god to sponsor her, like Athena sponsors him.

Penelope agrees, expecting Athena to answer her call, but instead Ares answers. He says that he will see Penelope through the wa,r but she must follow everything he says and awaken the visiousness she suppressed to become who she is now.

Penelope agrees.

More Warrior Penelope AU!

Ithaca Arc.

With Penelope away Odysseus has been dealing with a lot of trouble for the past 20 years.

His council have been pushing for him to remarry ever since Penelope left for war; they had never really accepted a Sparta princess marrying their King.

He has managed to hold them off for the first 10 years but when world of the fall of Troy reaached them and none of their Ithaca ships returned they become even more persitant.

Noble men all of Ithaca were bringing their daughters to meet Odysseus ofically and by the law of xenia he is unable to refuse them.

It hasn't stopped those families making themmself at home in his palace, eating his food, abusing his servants and sometimes bullying his son.

If Odysseus was at full strength he would be able evicted them, but lately he's been feeling very weak. His still able to do his duites but arguing with people 24-7 is defently taking his toll.

He can barely keep up with Telemachus when they train together, and it's worrying his son.

Telemachus suspect someone has been tampering with the food, and Odysseus would have agreed if Athena hadn't been checking for that each time.

No, he suspects magic is involved, but he can't prove it, especially not with his council members just waiting to find an excuse to call him crazy.

If Penelope were here, then together they could completely replace those old coots with fresh faces. Ctimene would have helped too, but she has her own problems waiting for her own love.

His mother is the one who has been insisting he listen to the council. Odysseus honestly doesn't know how to feel about that, he loves his mother and thought she loved Penelope, but to hear her insisting he replace her for the good of Ithaca..

It felt like betrayal.

It cut so deep that Odysseus hasn't spoken to her since.

With both his best friends gone with Penelope, his mother trying to replace her and his council trying to take control Odysseus has never felt so alone.

Telemachus has been his saviour these last 20 years, and Odysseus has never felt so much pride watching him grow into such a strong but kind man.

He was going to make a great king.

Now, though Telemachus was off working on a diplomatic mission for Ithaca's future, which works perfectly for Odysseus.

A storm brewed not far off the coast of Ithaca; it was just as vicious as the one from 10 years ago, and it cleared just as quickly.

The sea continued to act strangely afterwards; it seemed to be flinching, which was crazy in itself. Sometimes the wave would be harsh, and the next second it would be calm.

Was it an omen? Or a sign?

Odysseus doesn't know, but something tells him that things are about to change. It was like the wind had suddenly changed, and instead of harsh gales, it was a calm breeze.

It felt like he was standing at a split path, and whatever he decided today was what would decide the rest of his life.

Either it will be with Penelope back in his arms, or be forced to take another.

Trolls Egg Headcannon

Warning mentioned of miscarriage and childloss.

An egg is created when two Trolls have such a deep love for each other that their very souls create a new life.

Both Trolls have to have the same amount of love, no troll is born from a one-sided love.

The one exception to this are the glitter trolls. These trolls have the unique ability to have enough love for themselves that sometimes an egg is created. The troll born is always a splitting image of the parent and on the small scale but are very developt mentally.

It's always random who will carry the egg, but it has been theorised that the one who has more love to spare is the one to carry.

In very rare cases Trolls who have just lost their love will sometimes produce an egg to help with the grieving process.

This is what happened with King Peppy, who found himself with an egg a few days after loosing his wife. Poppy was what's called a healing egg.

Trolls are encouraged to try and space out egg carrying due to how much energy and nutrition is giving by the carrier.

They was no way to control this when in the Troll Tree and that's why Branch has four older brother so close together.

Rejection was more common in the Troll Tree that it is now in Pop Village, rejection usually happens when a carrier suddenly looses they're partner. The grief causes them to reject the egg and the usually rip them out of their hair too soon causing the trolling to be lost with the carrier following not long after.

Branch was one of these eggs. Detached far too soon, egg slightly damaged Branch survived thanks to John-Dory keeping the egg in his own hair. When Branch hatched he was very small and didn't open his eyes until a few days after he hatched.

Branch is the only known rejected egg to survive.

When Poppy and Branch eventually have an egg it's not only completely accidentally, neither realise until Branch passes out while helping Poppy.

Branch has a very hard time carrying the egg. He's finds himself getting weaker as the egg grows and he's soon on completely bed rest near the end.

It really scares everyone because it's not usual for an Troll to struggle carrying and Branch seemed to be getting weaker the more the egg grows. When the egg detaches they almost loose Branch due to how much energy he had lost.

The two decided to hold off to having more eggs until they find out why Branch reacted so badly.

They had a little purple troll with pink hair called Melody.

They had a second egg after they were married, Poppy ended up carrying this one and had a much easier time. She basically went the entire carrying period like normal with no side effects.

It was a little boy with pink fur and indigo hair, they called him Leaf.

They had decided to stick to just the two but soon Branch once finds himself carrying.

With twins.

Now this is very rare, twins are so rare there are only two known cases so this was a huge thing to celebrate.

For Branch though it meant he was in the hospital the entire time he was carrying for his own safety.

He had a little boy that splitting image of Poppy and a little girl that looked like him.

They were called Rosie and Sage.

Trolls Headcannon

Bergens naturally look like King Gristle and Bridget, on the small side with normal features.

Eating a troll though caused deformities as well as giving them happiness. They become tall, gained growths on their faces, lost their hair and their nails become long and untamed. They also lost their talent in music.

Basically while eating trolls caused happiness it has consequences that left them unable to sing, dance and looking like monsters.

Ok it's very funny to laugh at Tuxedo Mask for showing up and doing nothing, but his job was never to actually fight the monsters.

His job was just to show up and believe in Sailor Moon so overwhelmingly resolutely that she remembers she's a fucking demigod long enough for HER to fight the monsters.

Because she's the only one strong enough to do it in the first place, and in this regard Tuxedo Mask is the first example of being "Kenough" in this essay I will

Trolls Halloween Idea

Based on the TBGO episode 'Eye'll Be Watching You' but set in the movie verse.

Branch had found a struggling Eyestalk near his bunker, deciding to help it grow Branch gives it special attention with the plan to either return it with other Eyestalks or have it help him protect his bunker better.

He's unaware how attached this Eyestalk has become to him though and also how much awarness it's gained.

When the plant meets Poppy it absolutely despises her. Especially with how close she and Branch are.

Poppy catches on to this and honestly just finds it cute that this little plant is so defensive of Branch.

At least until she had Branch had a small row. It was nothing serious, just two stubborn trolls trying to be right, but to the Eyestalk it was the last straw.

The little Eyestalk suddenly grows massive, started multiplying rapidly and decides to capture Branch to keep him safe.

The rest of the Special is just Poppy protecting the village while trying to save Branch, who has been trying to convince the Plant that the is the wrong way to go about things.
