Authors note: Go read “Play it Cool, Guys”. Good manga. Inspired me to make this.

Possible warnings: Amane-typical cult mentions

- … how someone can fall down so much confuses her. Did the gods decide to punish you in such a trivial way? What did you do to deserve this?

- She doesn’t interfere, though. There must be a reason the gods did this to you.

- If you get hurt from your clumsiness, she is NOT letting you NEAR Shidou. That fucker will try to ””””help”””” you, by INTERFERING WITH THE GODS PLANS!!!!!!!!

- Yeah no. You’ll have to walk it off (preferably without tripping) with her around.

Alternate scenario:

- Is this a test for her? To see if she’ll help someone in need?

- Then she must pass it.

- She starts walking with you, catching you when you fall (I’d imagine she’s strong enough to catch you even if you’re older than her. She was strong enough to k1ll a person after all), and assuring your clumsiness doesn’t get you hurt.

- She definitely becomes a bit overprotective. It’s not for you, though. It’s to pass the test sent to her by the gods (half truth half lie. She may or may not be warming up to you.), of course! That’s it, no other reason she’s helping you (okay that’s a full lie).

Summary:

Amane could never sleep right in MILGRAM.

Knowing she had did something to deserve this place kept her up at night.

If this was a test assigned onto her by the gods, she was horribly failing it. (Copied from my AO3 post of it)

Sleeping was hard when you knew you did something wrong.

Especially for Amane.

Every night, she asks the gods what she did wrong to deserve this fate. They never answer, no matter how much she asks, no matter how consistently she asks. But she will not give up, no, eventually they will hear her pleas (she hoped they’d eventually hear her, at least)!

All she needed was just one more chance to prove whatever she did to deserve being here was a fluke; one more chance to prove no test is needed to show her unwavering faith.

Even if it was the last chance she got, that was all she needed.

Tonight is no different from every other night.

Her hands clasped together in prayer as she asked,

”Dear gods, may I ask why I am here? I only followed your scripture, so what did I do to deserve this fate? If this is a test, have I succeeded yet? Did I fail? Please, give me an answer.” Her voice was quiet as to not disturb the other, sleeping, prisoners (not that she cared for them, she simply knew kindness might make the gods take pity on her and help her. That’s all she wanted. Just enough pity to be freed from here.)

She hoped there would be a sign the gods had heard her pleas eventually, even if its tomorrow, or in a week, or in a month.

Amane slipped back into her bed, pulling the covers over her body as she silently prayed for a better tomorrow.

…

The hours just came and went, yet she still couldn’t fall asleep.

She couldn’t find any sort of fatigue in her, she could only stare up at the ceiling, laying in her bed while hoping for this purgatory to be over. (Maybe she had died, and this was her personal hell because she had failed to help enough people see the truth.)

Maybe just asking wasn’t enough. Did she need an offering? What would even be good enough (that she can obtain, considering the situation she has been in) to have her be finally noticed by the gods? She'll find a suitable offering tomorrow...

... Or maybe in her dreams tonight, she would finally get an answer to her questions.

If she could fall asleep to even dream at all.

After all,

Sleeping was hard when you knew you did something wrong.

Scar with a Cinnabar-like reader

Writers note: Back at it again with writing I wrote at 1am on my Kindle that I cleaned up in the morning ‼️

Possible Warnings: I accidently implied a bit of a more yandere tone, but it’s not that mentioned and can br easily ignored. Reader is Rover (this is important to like two parts), but you can imagine being called whatever name you like since I didn’t actually mention readers name.

- He finds you interesting at first: You being an outcast yet so important is quite interesting, yes?

- He believes there is no reason for you to reject the offer to join the Fractsidus, you're an outcast anyways, why not embrace it?

- Your resonence ability is being able to emit mercury, that can only harm those around you and doesnt harm you at all. He finds quite a bit of use in this... (stay far away from this man. The way he admires your mercury is NOT normal.)

- Despite you not wanting to work along side anyone (in fear you’ll hurt them when you use your ability), he constantly tries to get you to join him. Nobody else works with you, so why not work with him? (He refuses to accept that you prefer to be alone.)

- The way you seem to never sleep (he sometimes sees you walking around during the night, for hours on end occasionally...) is another part of you that he finds interest in. How can one stay awake so long, yet fight like they have the energy of sleeping for days?

- If you accept the offer to join the Fractsidus, you probably still avoid the members. No worries, though! Scar will get you to be more social (even just with him. No need to talk with Phrolova.)

Authors note: Made it a oneshot since that seems to fit the request most. Also this might be weirdly written because I have never went on a date before… and I know the request was for a fem!reader but I just never found myself using any gendered terms to describe the reader… sorry!!

Honestly, this whole “date” thing was pretty new to Rover. I mean, she’d went out with a few other people before, but never with romantic intent… so when you had asked her out on a date, she was both surprised and unsure how to respond. But there’s always a first time for everything, yes?

You had taken her out to Panhua’s restaurant, deciding it would be a good date.

“… is the food nice?” Rover asked, trying to start a conversation with you. That’s what people do on dates, right?

“It is nice!” You answered.

“Mine is as well.” Rover replied.

Neither of you two were really sure how to continue the conversation, but Rover just tried to ask another question, hoping it would actually lead somewhere.

“Are we going to go to anywhere else after this?” Rover asked.

“Do you want to?” You asked in reply.

“… I am unsure.” Rover replied.

… you didnt really know how to reply, so there was just an awkward silence for a few seconds before Rover continued.

“I suppose we don’t have to. This is very satisfactory, just being with you right now.” Rover added, hoping it would make things less awkward.

“Then we aren’t going anywhere after, I guess.” You replied.

“That is fine.” Rover quickly responded, continuing to eat her food.

The rest of the date was just Rover occasionally asking something, you replying, and then repeat. Definitely… a date. (I apologize I have no idea how to finish this.)

Seems sweet, good at manipulation, sometimes remorseful for killing people but ignores those feelings, secretive.

Dorodere.

An assassin who’s after the light kingdoms royals — Nobody knows if she came from the dark kingdom or if she was always from the light kingdom, except herself.

Can’t use magic, but she’s good with swords to make up for it.

Cold, doesn’t tend to express his emotions, prefers to be alone then around people, secretive.

Teasing, tries to get a laugh out of Mafuyu (always fails), very serious when it comes to his duties, secretive.

The first of the two (important) dark knights, he is quite… unique, for someone in dark kingdom.

Can use magic, and is the best magic user in the dark kingdom.

Ichika:

Transfem (She/her), Aroace.

Can be quite remorseful when she has to decide to approve an execution, can be irritated by small things, is better at forgiving then forgetting, secretive.

Tsunshun

The younger or the dark royal duo who would become the heir to the dark kingdoms throne if Mafuyu were to die.

Can use minimal magic, and is quite good at it.

Saki:

Transmasc (Any pronouns, no preference), bisexual (no preference).

Affectionate, not the strongest but very good at strategizing, would be the most likely to be able to blend into the light kingdom if needed, secretive.

Deredere

The second of the two (important) dark knights, some of the people in the dark kingdom believe he may be originally from the light kingdom… it’s unknown to anyone except herself if this is true.

Can use minimal magic, but they’re really only good with bursts of magic.

Only herself and Luka know much about her, mysterious… it seems there was nothing else in his files about his personality.

Ortho Shroud with a Tsukasa Tenma-like reader

Writers note: Fun fact this originally had Idia in it. Not anymore! Anyways maybe I should write Ortho more he’s a pretty cool character. Oh and I’m extremely scared my characterization of Tsukasa will be wrong but I’m TRYING.

Warnings: Ortho hypothetically threatening to leak someone’s (not readers) personal information online, and that should be it! Oh and reader is established to be in Ignihyde.

- Only the dark mirror knows how you got into Ignihyde, but I suppose that’s not something you can really change… unless you hate the dorm enough to switch, but let’s just ignore that option and act like you don’t do that (it would ruin this whole thing)!

- First person you’re greeted by once you enter the dorm: Small child who cannot possibly be old enough to be a student (oh how ironic considering something that happens later in the main story…) and is definitely a robot as well. That’s an… okay first impression…?

- Oh boy is Ortho gonna adore your extrovert-ness. You’d be such a great influence on Nii-San!! (Idia is not enjoying your presence and would probably bribe you to leave the dorm.)

- You two become quick friends — who wouldn’t want to be friends with the robot child who is so cute and kind and could probably destroy the whole school if he wants to?

- He likes to listen to you play the piano, and analyze how you do it! And he recommends you songs to play (mainly stuff from video games since he would probably want to have you play the songs for Idia!) :)

- He supports your endeavor in becoming a star! Wait, don’t question why anyone who says that’s a stupid/impossible dream suddenly becomes scared of you!! That’s just a coincidence and has absolutely nothing to do with Ortho hypothetically threatening to leak their personal information online unless they stop making fun of you, that would be insane, right? ): (I felt the need to add this end part to remind you guys that this is a school for villains, and because I just like adding extra stuff into my writing.)
