I'm all for unique interpretations of existing IPs, especially the ones based on video games, but this one feels so unnecessary.

It's especially baffling when an animated Minecraft movie is easily achievable, like this one:

Like, don't get me wrong, I kinda digging the aesthetic of the film, but I wish that effort could've been on a full live-action movie with practical effects or, preferably, a fully animated one.

I just realized that Concord is part of an anthology of the upcoming show, Secret Level. So, if Concord is going to be offline in about 3 days, what are they going to replace it with when the show is going to release in the next 3 months?

The craziest part is that it's one of the three Sony series that'll be featured there. Like, how egotistical can one company be? 😭

The trailer for the Sonic Movie 3 has finally been revealed, and my overall thoughts on it are that it's alright, but nowhere near as mind-blowing as Sonic Movie 2 trailer.

I want to go over some highlights of this film with some positives and negatives I have with it, starting with:

Pros:

1. Shadow's overall design and him being an absolute menace that he is.

2. Despite being a bit tame of the SA2 plot points, it still manages to keep the spirit of Shadow's story.

3. Team Sonic looks cooler than ever.

And as for the negatives.

Cons:

1. I'm a bit disappointed that Eggman looks identical to the last two films instead of leaning more to be like his game counterpart.

2. Gerald Robotnik is being introduced here as just Eggman 2.0 instead of a broken man is an odd choice.

3. It's has nothing to do with the film itself, but Paramount's marketing of it has been baffling. The teaser trailer of Sonic 3 has been out since February (6 months ago), followed by mostly radio-silence til today, and it only has 4 months left til it is released in theaters.

While watching the Sonic Movie 3 trailer a couple of times now, I noticed this film feels more like the Sonic OVA with a Sonic Adventure 2 aesthetic (Going watch the OVA for a refresher and make a post about it and Sonic Movie 3).

But yeah, that all my thoughts on Sonic Movie 3 for now.

I always kinda thought Chip looked a little like a chao... then this comic happened! (Not a reincarnation situation or anything, just a chao that looks like Chip in the same way that some chao can look like Sonic, Knuckles, Amy etc.)

Probably brings back some memories for Sonic!
