Conceptually I like Regina x R*bin and how it helps Regina be just a bit happy for 5 seconds. Like, you can't not want this;

...but unfortunately I fucking hate R*bin H**d so much, and would've preferred it if she was with actually literally anyone fucking else in that entirely damn town.

I mean, now that I think about it… there is the 15th anniversary coming up next year. I doubt they’ll do anything huge for it, maybe like. An unceremonious merch drop or something at most. BUT this might be a weird way of gaging interest before they do anything.

Normally, I don’t like fan theories that are like “Everything that happened in the show was actually in X character’s head, none of it was real.” I think they’re dumb and overdone. Like. A hundred people have done this before you, okay? Ash Ketchum was not in a coma, have some more imagination.

HOWEVER. I was in the shower earlier, alone with my thoughts, and I was thinking about how OUAT has so many actors that show up who you wouldn’t expect. This, of course, reminded me that Eric Lange, the guy who played Sikowitz in Victorious, also played a younger version of Leopold in Bleeding Through.

Do you guys remember the episode of Victorious where— and stay with me— we learn how Trina got into Hollywood Arts, despite the fact that she sings like a dying pipe organ? If you haven’t seen the episode, or you don’t remember, it was because Sikowitz drank some expired coconut milk during her audition and experienced an acid trip.

Now, hear me out on this one: What if the entirety of OUAT is just Sikowitz’s coconut milk-fueled hallucinations??? And “younger Leopold” was actually him cameoing in his own delusions??? That would explain a LOT about why the show is the way it is, wouldn’t it?

You gotta hear me out on this one guys. Come onnnn guys.

I am conflicted on the... Cora Mills death scene front.

I think the show tried to humanize her with some of these episodes (The Millers' Daughter / Bleeding Through), and #imho the second did a good job at the same time of drawing obvious parallel drawn between Cora giving up Zelena to give herself her best chance and Snowing giving up Emma to give her her best chance. (Esp considering how badly Snowing wanted to raise Emma. I am not saying the episode is amazing, but I do like it, and I like that bit. Even though there is tons of retcon in this thing...)

However, what I want to focus on today is the events of the Millers' Daughter, and what led Cora to rip out her heart, as well as the aftermath of her getting it back (telling Regina she would have been enough, and seemingly- yes, seemingly- showing her genuine affection for the first time in forever and not backhanded complients).

People seem to be of two minds, when it comes to that episode:

- Cora manipulated Rumple in the flashbacks (when they were in a relationship), and manipulated Regina when she got her heart back (so her last breath would have been spent on lying to her daughter.

- Cora actually loved Rumple, and did not simply manipulate him, and her last words to Regina were the truth, albeit way too little and way too damn late. So she could feel love, but also let her hunger for power and status win, to the point where she ripped her heart out...?

I used to believe in the second as a pre-teen (I started watching the show when S1 was airing in France/S2 was airing in the US, aka when I was 12)... It made the most sense. It did not excuse Cora's actions at all, she still is a deeply manipulative, evil abusive mother and a mass murderer, but it made sense. (But you know... Do 12 year olds think that critically...)

One of my twitter mutuals actually believes it to be the former, and I had never really thought of it that way before. I think both hold their own weight, and that we can all have different opinions on the matter, so long as they do not excuse her genuinely abusive behavior towards Regina.

I am saying that, notably because I do not believe that her having her heart back would have bettered her relationship with Regina- I do not think it can ever even be mended, honestly, given the horrors Regina was put through by her mother until that woman last breath- from turning the town against her to using her as a pawn to get to the dagger by lying to her?... Respectfully, the witch needed to die (she was a great villain, though). Her loving Regina and being able to mend it would not have fixed it.

Now, I still do think she loved Regina and Rumple, but I just don't think it would have been enough, like she told Regina.

Rumple wasn't enough. Love just is never enough for this woman. So yes, what she said about Regina is a lie, notably because she was so obsessed with that stupid social ladder she likely would have still ended up mistreating Regina. I just think they part that is up for interpretation was... the purpose to be manipulative.

(I also think both are a little simplistic. Either she was a social climing evil conniving person from the start or "oh no, she would have been a normal mom if she'd had her heart"... i think neither are true and it's a little more complicated!)

Sydney is like. The biggest simp to ever walk the Earth. If simping was an Olympic sport, he’d win several gold medals. He pulled up to Leopold’s castle and was immediately like, “Damn. His wife is hot.” He didn’t realize he was being set up until it was too late, and he STILL wished to be with her forever. And because he can’t remember any of this post-curse, he is STILL a huge simp. Bro is being played and he’s either too dumb or too blinded by his simpage to see it.

Emma is right. Regina is a sociopath.

Seriously...what does she have on Sydney. Like literally, he just...

I just don't think the way Emma is doing things is particularly clever though.
