I work hard. I mean - hard - having a main job, two hustles, and then what I actually care about: my writing, which I intend to eventually self-publish (opening my own small press company). Life can get difficult for anybody, for everybody, but there are those that - regardless of their circumstances - will try to take advantage of different systems that should not be taken advantage of. It makes those that actually need these systems "look bad", right along with those giving the bad reputation. MOPO - and so much to think about it - but communism and the disability systems are set up to be taken advantage of. Then again, the capitalist system is complete shit, too. Thoughts?

YOU KNOW WHAT I REALLY HATE!!?....OOOOOOOOKAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!! When, regardless of biological age, someone starts to act old. And shit, everybody does it. Obviously, the elderly do it, but teenagers, young adults, hell even children, do it. Being old is a state of mind, and both how you think and what you do can reflect what age you think that you are. I am an adult who WILL adult, but I'll be damned if I get old!!

May 21: Comment for the day

Even though it seems that true crime might have hit a nerve two weeks ago, as there were absolutely no votes in that particular poll, the following is very close to my heart for numerous reasons, with the most obvious being the fact that I do indeed identify as female, and was born as female. Of course, I mean absolutely no disrespect to the LGBTQ community, as I also identify as bisexual, with a daughter who identifies as they. I URGE you, encourage you, to read the link below, vote on the poll (a very simple one), and tell me your thoughts:

I don't know what to think on this, tbh. While we all are aware, whether we choose to verbally acknowledge it or not, gender equality has always been an issue. But is the spike in the rate of femicide just a coincidence? The two women identified in the article are "well-known celebrities", of course with well-known being open to negotiation, so that would point to the chance of it only being a coincidence. But then the world's history shows that hatred towards women is definitely not a new thing. What do you think? Speak your thoughts.

Not really sure if this will lighten the mood for a bit or no, but - as a true crime addict - I had to do it. Comments/thoughts for the day, in regards to the link below:

The 7 Best True Crime Documentaries on Netflix Right Now

Okay, yeah sure, there are other subscriptions to be had, but this particular article is discussing Netflix - which I get free thru my phone service, so there lol. Anyways, they have listed - to what they believe - are the seven best out-right-now true crime documentaries. I have listed my opinions on each one below.

Oklahoma City Bombing: American Terror: Don't start but this is a fairly new case for me. I have just recently started my nosedive into it and it's quite intriguing. For example, I had never known that Timothy McVeigh was not working alone. However, I did know that the Columbine shooters wanted to outdo McVeigh. I am a true aficionado on the Columbine case and just recently visited Colorado. (I will post pix soon.) So yeah, I've seen this one. You should, too.

The Keepers: I know. Absolutely. Nothing. About this case. Considering how different it is though, involving a nun, I will be sure to fit it into my watching schedule. If you get to see it before I do, though, lmk how it was.

Into The Fire: The Lost Daughter: Another case that I have absolutely no familiarity with. But as someone who was adopted when I was younger, I feel that I can identify with Aundria. Another one that I will scribble down to watch.

Gone Girls: The Long Island Serial Killer: Like Manson, Columbine, and West Memphis, this case is close to my heart. Considering that they believe that they have found the perpetrator, but that his case is still pending, I am extremely invested in seeing where this all goes. I have seen this one, and I would definitely recommend it.

Conversations With A Killer: The John Wayne Gacy Tapes: This is another one that I have seen, but honestly I have no idea why. I would not say don't watch it, but this case holds very little interest for me. I always found this man disgusting and not intriguing in the least. If you feel differently, or the same, or hell just have something to say about it, leave a comment down below.

Girl In The Picture: Yes, I have seen this one too, and it is a definite must watch, ya'll. Like a labyrinth, this case takes you places that you did not expect to go. And just when you think that you have no idea of what is going on, it finally gels together. Watch it!

The Innocent Man: The law is extremely interesting to me. I am a paralegal who has a keen interest in criminal forensics. So, from that perspective alone, I have added this one to my shelf list as well. Again, if you see it before I do, lmk what you thought.

Wow! To say that my "To Watch" list has just become a bit longer is an understatement. What about yours? Anything that you definitely intend to see? And let me know your thoughts afterwards - or before - or during...

100 Days of Fear & Loathing in Climate World - Legal Planet

Everybody has heard/read the headline, pompous news article, by now: "100 Days Of Trump", or something along those lines. Essentially, it asks "How has he done?" I'm not going to respond to that one, at least not right now. But what only those who truly know me understand is that I am a tree-hugging proud freak who is all about the current state of our environment. Now mind you, before he even took office, the climate was a fucking mess. But putting him into office has only made it worse - much worse. Here are a few environmental things that Trump has not achieved: 1. Completely silencing environmental journalists, who know that this work is even more important than ever.

2. Made some journalists less anxious. There are still those who will scream about what matters - no matter the cost!

3. Confidently dismissed their hatred by dismissing the Climate Assessment. The stupidity is shining through brighter than ever.

I really could go on and on here. But heed the thought for those who do not want to hear: What matters will not be ignored.

I have to raise the question that has to be raised: Which social construction is filled with more hatred? As a society, even those that stand firm with MAGA, recognize that the Trump administration is belittling everyone. But, and it is possible that I might have missed something, I have not seen much belittling from the Harvard community. So, you tell me: Where is the hatred actually trickling from?

Republican Warns Real ID Is Being Used to 'Control' Americans

I'm not a conservative. I'm not a liberal. I fall somewhere in the middle. But this shit that Republicans are claiming about Real ID has me confused. It is only a required document under special circumstances, for which most of us will rarely fall under if ever. Where is the control to get from this? It's similar to trying to squeeze lemon juice out of a rock, nothing is going to fall. There are idiots on both sides, as well as slightly intelligent people, but this: yeah, this falls under WTLH?!
