SyphaCard Headcanons

Sypha and Alucard have long conversations about science, art, history, magic, and all the topics that come naturally to their minds while they are together.

They never get tired of each other.

In a world of superstition and fear, Alucard is immensely happy to have met such a brave and wise woman as Sypha.

One of the things Sypha likes the most about Alucard, is his sense of justice.

Alucard loves cooking for Sypha.

Sypha loves braiding Alucard's hair.

Alucard compliments Sypha frequently. It's something natural and genuine; he sees a lot of amazing things in her. And he loves the way she smiles every time he does it.

Sypha is bright and cheerful and makes Alucard laugh a lot.

Alucard is very protective of Sypha. He knows she is strong and can take care of herself, but he has lost so many people in his life, and the very thought of something bad happening to her worries him a lot.

And when he's worried, Sypha takes his hand and kisses him on the cheek, assuring him that everything will be fine.

None of them thought they could fall so deeply in love with someone. And they are happy to be together.

1. Alucard teaching Sypha how to waltz.

I love Alucard’s longing face when Sypha gets close to him and looks at him tenderly to comfort him after the battle against Dracula. He clearly has a crush on her…

But it’s sad to see his look of utter disappointment when she turns to take Trevor’s hand.

I feel bad for Alucard and can’t wait to see what will happen when they meet again in season 4.

Oww thank you for asking about this one! Always had a soft spot for Sypha and Alucard together, whether it's & or / or whatever else.

This one's a Sypha/Alucard oneshot for my dearest bestest writerfriend antiheld, who wanted something like

... but now she just can't deny the physical and emotional attraction. hold on, I'm not done

...and she's usually this badass and snarky 'hittem stupid boys on the head-girl', but now she actually loses some of that swagger, bc she feels intimidated by the whole thing (her feelings, him in this sort of... situation/role??) so yeah what I'm really saying, give me

terrified-but-horny-and-infatuated Sypha with 'uuuh-ftf?-but-yeah-sure-why-not-Adrian, or perhaps he too has started to feel something more for her, hmmmm????

A snippet:

She nears, arms crossed and worrying at her lip with her teeth. His shadow creeps across the moonlit grass and he stands inhumanely still, staring out at the scenery; an apparition, not stark against the night, but one with it.

The chill in the air seeps through her clothing, clings to her skin as Sypha steps closer. She stops when Alucard seems to falter, body trembling before he leans heavily with his shoulder against a tree trunk.  

Sypha stares, wondering whether to approach, or leave him be. 

“Why are you not resting?”

Well, that decides that. His voice also sounds strange, hoarser than she’s used to. “I woke up and you were gone, so I thought…”

His shoulders rise, then fall, and Alucard shakes his head but keeps his peace. They listen to the nightlife buzzing around them, above them. Sypha waits.
