That Redditor was wrong. However, the way they were wrong is pretty well-suited to Twin Peaks, and especially to Coop and Diane + their relationship, I think.

So we're in the lodge. We all know better than to ask questions, but Coop doesn't. He heard once that his name and Diane's meant the same thing, and he liked the idea. Years later, behind some formidable curtains, things get a prodigious bit more intense.

9. worst part of canon

Everything to do with Cunoesse. Worst as in heartbreaking. That poor kid was written to get the shitty end of the stick no matter what. And then they just... do nothing with her. Cuno even begs to go with Harry and Jean because he's scared of her (that's how I read into it.)

10. worst part of fanon

To me? Making Kim some kind of badass when he was younger. The guy is a dork. He does crossword puzzles and was a stickler for the rules - even more so when he was younger apparently. Plus he was a proud moralist when he was young. Those types of people are always kinda party poopers. (Which Kim is apparently proud of his party pooping ways).

Hello! Will there be guidelines as to what "past" and especially "future" will entail? How much will the zine present a unified vision of events Vs how much will it be each creator following their own interpretations and plot bunnies? Thanks in advance!

Hi! Yes, when contributor applications open, more concrete periods will be given to define what falls into the past and future eras (e.g. whether or not Sacred and Terrible Air is qualifiable content). This will primarily be influenced by interest check comments.

Given that every player’s experience with DE is slightly different, the idea is that contributors will be free to follow their own interpretations. However, pitches will be selected so that we can present an overarching narrative that ultimately ends on a hopeful note, to follow the “life again” theme of the zine. This is subject to change, but describes the current direction.

«Sacred and Terrible Air» video review is finally here!

I want to share with you the results of our fruitful collaboration with a talented musician and YouTuber idle, hi!

This video essay is the review of a sacred and terrible book by Robert Kurvitz, of Disco Elysium fame. The book was unnoticed by the time of release, but is exploding in popularity after the game's release, and after the two fan translations came out in 2023.

So here you have it, folks! The video draws heavily from the works of many talended artists this community has acquired over the last two years. All of them are credited in the video. Thank you so much guys!

I was blown away that @moogleterra tagged me for this!

Rules - In a new post, show the last line you wrote (or drew) and tag as many people as there are words (or however many as you like.)

Here's a recent line for the Sabin fanfic I've been working on:

Bracing himself for the attack, his eyes met hers and silently begged for a flicker of recognition or humanity.

Titillating! Who is attacking Sabin? Why don't they seem to recognize him? What happens if the attack lands? Will this line survive my next round of brutal edits? Are my edits actually brutal? Can one claim to use brutal edits if the story has ballooned into this many words and chapters?

Only by the grace of the Triad will we get answers!

I'm going to tag some people who have written FF6 fanfics that I really loved. This is more of a, Hey, you have no idea who I am but I loved that FF6 story you wrote and I have written (or will write) a post about the specific story and what I loved about it!, and less of a, Hey, I'm a total stranger who is roping you into something you may not want to participate in and if you don't block me I'll spam you constantly with things!

Also, in tracking down some of these Tumblr accounts, I'm pleased to see that literally everyone in this list seems to be genuinely awesome, FF6 fandom aside.
