reeeeally worried the yasha comic will come out and everyone will look the way the artist draws other people 😔 I've seen their art and it's intentionally off putting and it feels like something Ashley would lean into but it's so... have u seen it? good for fighting and blood but if the people all look like that it's going to be hard to cherish the visuals as much as the story

i totally forgot that artists actually exist in the world and i can look into their work LMAO. the artist is Will Kirkby for anyone unaware and i actually really like his style!! its unique and it fits yasha's story imo, plus the way he builds scenes and stuff is cool to me. hes very maximalist and i love it

heres examples of his yashas (sources r linked below) ^_^ pretty damn great yasha!!! id rather have him illustrate her comic than like, someone who's going to feminize her up the wazoo and remove all of her messiness. i think his style benefits yashas comic a lot since shes such a unique character who comes from such a unique place and the way shes drawn should reflect that
