How did Mafuyu become a vampire? Was she born like that or turned? If she was turned, does Mafumom know (I’d imagine not but yk-)

She was born as one! Her mom's a vampire too, while Mafudad is a human.

I would imagine tho that if Mafuyu was turned instead, then yeah she'd do her best to keep it a secret from Mafumom. Though if she was found out eventually, then it'd be a cause of concern for both of them (implying Mafumom in this theoretical sense is also human).

Vampires would have a more negative perception upon them, so Mafumom may have the need to isolate Mafuyu more despite her own wishes.

this is such a good question!!!!! we mulled it over a bit and i think the consensus is that it takes place in the vaguely defined modern day but has heavy 2005-2010 Vibes. i think its largely because wukong is kind of an old soul... since u phrased this question in a social media heavy way it got me thinking about that as well. wujing uses minimal technology because hes super off the grid. has burner brick phones and his restaurant is not anywhere online. wukong doesnt use social media but not for security reasons like wujing, he's just too cool for it. has like a flip phone or some other dumb phone. sanzang... i wanna say he doesnt use social media personally but puts some basic effort into maintaining a socmed presence for his centre like a facebook page and maybe an instagram profile. he strikes me as a fb guy... but i could also see him getting really into some stupidly cute fandom or subculture online... like maybe some chick flick drama or some sanrio adjacent merchandise. hehe. ao lie is your generic teenager with like tiktok and stuff. hes not super active i think hes just a scroller. but there was an idea where sanzang recruits him for social media management HEHE. bajie........ i could see bajie being a tiktok star

This is hardly the first time Stu's been gaped at since his accident in '97. Accidents, plural, to be more accurate, but he doesn't remember the timeline so well, and he's rarely asked.

"Alright there, mate?" He looks a little bit like a hooligan, and certainly not a man with a day job, but there's little threatening about his posture, tall though he is. He's got nasty bruising beneath his eyes- eye sockets?- and a mouth missing more than one tooth. Fluffy blue hair, colorful painted nails, and untied high tops complete the image of, at best, a delinquent artist of some type.

"You w-were walking, ehm, real fast, like. Don't let me make you late to work or...or..." He can't think of somewhere else to add. This vexes him, forehead scrunching up as he thinks. "...Yeah!"

With time, he'll find his tongue again. For now, his speech is a blurry, tripping mess. The year is 2000, and Stuart Pot's got a lot of growing up to do.

sorry about how long the Frill post is taking, my thinking brain cells have gone haywire (a good thing, lots of ideas) but my writing brain cells have decided to take an unauthorised hike so going is very slow.

Related: would like to know how okay you are with spoilers since I'm including details from the latest anime. (Doubt it'll change what I write at all but I figure I'll ask anyway)

Also it randomly occurred to me earlier (today or yesterday, I can't remember which) that I think it's funny how my Zero is mentioned to be a bit of a scaredy cat and not be able to handle horror and yet she's perfectly fine with your Zero. And a thought of I wonder whether there have been any occasions where my Zero has disappeared when they're having a conversation but yours keeps talking because she knows even if she can't see or hear her she's still hanging around.

And obviously, I have no right to complain, since the answer to your ask about Zeroes is still hanging in my drafts... As you may have noticed, I wasn’t particularly active on self ship tumblr lately. Not because I lost interest, but because I didn't have enough energy to properly engage with anyone, so I just kept silently lurking around...

For the record: I am totally okay with all the spoilers! In fact, I welcome them, especially when it comes to Fairy Tail.

I loved this anime as a kid, but dropped it somewhere after the Grand Magic Games arc… Mostly because of Lucy being done dirty all the time, and Natsu stealing all the spotlight - those were my main sources of annoyance. Now I kinda want to re-watch it, or even read the manga, but… Too much repetitive fights and too much fanservice. I won’t be able to handle it. However, I still like the characters and their relationships, as well as the setting, so if I were to ever re-watch Fairy Tail, those would be my main reasons.

Definitely. To think of it, that is a very likely scenario, considering that the visibility/tangibility of your Zero runs on the emotions of others around her, so she might struggle to keep herself from disappearing when she’s alone with my Zero, since she feels so little. (My Zero could get a bit frustrated since it’s one time when just faking emotions doesn’t help)

But still, I mean, it’s logical that if your Zero disappears suddenly, then it is most likely that she went invisible and didn’t just go away. Not sure if my Zero could properly understand the frustration of suddenly being unseen and unheard, and therefore being treated like you’re not there… But she logically knows that the ghost Zero should still be there, and can hear everything. And it would be unwise to waste the time they have to talk to each other. So she might at least say all she wanted your Zero to hear, and maybe some other time they will be able to come back to it.
