it always seemed as if na chorong had it easy in life. an extremely supportive family backing her dreams, along with getting scouted to a big agency and meeting quick success with her tv and film debut. it all seemed like the easiest path was handed to her

the fact that she came from a struggling family and faced the numerous rejections before she struck gold with adagio often forgotten. or the unexplained break she took in acting

 growing up, she always loved performing skits in front of her family. she was often the center of attention with whatever production she had ready. this led to her joining drama clubs and participating in local plays put on around her.

scouted by adagio at a school play. auditioned and got in, trained for a while before she made a public appearance in a music video. her official television debut was a year after that, and her film debut was the following year after the tv debut.

she was rising in popularity but a sudden personal issue arose! and she couldn’t accept any scripts as she couldn’t fully commit to the long scheduling that came with filming anything.

still did work during that time, usually in things that required less time, such as appearing in magazines, walking the runway, or even just making an appearance at a fashion show.

finally made her return to acting and it was almost like she never left. quickly got back into the swing of things and started steadily building up her popularity again. now including more modeling gigs in her schedule, but acting was something she prioritized over anything else.

2021-2022 was the busiest timeframe in her life, filming projects back to back. thinks she’s done enough to not have to film for another two years at least. hasn’t filmed anything or picked up a new script since the glory because she needed a break badly.

so here she is now, in 2023 enjoying as much of her break as she can because who knows when the company will come knocking at her door with another project for her to look at.

 currently

loves her career but the recent string of projects she starred in back to back left her begging adagio for a hiatus. was not granted, but was met in the middle with another “unofficial hiatus” from acting. ( l o l let’s see if this lasts long )

focused on her brand deals and promoting them in the meantime. really? doesn’t consider herself to be an actual? model? feels more like a fraud if you ask her, but yes she has walked in shows and appeared in magazines. most of those opportunities came because of her status as an actress, anyway.

searching for a new avenue to explore. she needs something different to spice her life up! something to give her a real challenge since she’s been doing this stuff for years.

deep down she wishes one of her projects would flop so the projects can shift to someone else, but her pride doesn’t let her half-ass anything. she’s always all-in.

personality

dont let the public image fool u, chorong is not as uptight and “serious” as she makes herself appear. typically the mood maker on set / seen goofing around with costars. the act is just to suit the adagio rep.

she still has a level of professionalism to her though. formalities until she considers you close enough to be a friend.

think she’s pretty approachable?? but may be a little bit intimidating  bc of her seniority? dont worry she doesn’t bite.

always up for new experiences and open to trying out new things. can be spontaneous and act on impulses.

ambitious, that’s how she got to this point in her career. wants to do everything to the best of her ability.

a little irritable, but has mastered controlling that feeling. for the most part. can be a bit snarky and argumentative once irritated though.

industry friends <3 long spanning career, i envision she may have more friends around her age/older but she’d also extend herself out to younger people as well, it just might be a little harder for her to do so?

Hello, Santa Ostíans!

It has been a bustling month in the city of Santa Ostía. With new neighbors comes new friendships and neohumans across the six districts of the city have been busy getting to know each other! Now, just in time for the holiday season, we are opening a second round of applications for membership at Involuntary Motion!

The details are simple. From Monday, December 6th to Friday, December 17, our membership application will open again for new submissions. A number of changes have been made to the application based on feedback from our members who were accepted during the first round and we are very excited to get to greet a new batch of members into our site after what we consider a very successful first round!

If you completed an application during the first round of applications, you may either submit a new application using the updated format *or* you may send us an ask with your alias and the request to have it reconsidered. This helps us keep up-to-date on applicants' interest in joining the site.

As opposed to the first wave of applications, where all the accepted members were invited at once to join the Discord server in order to commence the icebreaker period, we will be accepting applicants on a rolling basis as applications are completed in order to give applicants the opportunity to better integrate to the established community.

In the meantime, stay tuned for some fun classifieds from the city itself—if you're on the fence about applying, maybe one of the various requests our members have put up will be the deciding factor! You can also view all of our publicly available information right here on our Tumblr page!

Hello everyone, this is your friendly neighborhood Charlie popping in to say hello.

Since the initial moment I decided to take my second break, I have calmed down again, though anxiety and uncertainty still lingers within. It’s still very much an up-down sort of thing. At the same time I’m worried about the next time something throws me off again. So far, that hasn’t happened, I’m crossing my fingers it doesn’t come round again.

At this moment, I’m not considering returning at full pace just yet. You may see me do a few little things on my NSFW blog, but at the moment I’m still taking this a bit slow. Depending on how things go in the meantime, I am hoping, hoping, to return by either Sunday or Monday. Honestly as much as I’ve taken a break, I honestly can’t really keep away from Tumblr for too long. The threads, the people, the fun. It still calls me back. There’s this pull to return to the fun, though I do feel it better to just give it a tad more time.

But I am excited to get back into it.

I hope everyone is doing well in the meantime, I’m always available on discord if anyone ever wants to chat, about anything! If you want to add me on discord, shoot me an IM and we’ll get that ball rolling.

Another convention is here, this time in the form of Science of the Time Lords in Leicester. I will be in Leicester for the entire weekend, and although I will be taking my laptop with me, I will be operating under the assumption that I’ll have no time to use it.

y’know, this whole thing may be a sign. i’ve wanted to just get away from tumblr completely for a long time, now, but the closest i’ve been was go on several hiatuses with the occasional check-ins. even in my busiest times i’ve managed to scroll through the dash a couple of minutes every day. and i’m not saying i’m going to disappear now, but i really do feel like i need to move on with my life sometimes - even though writing here and developing sharon makes me giddy. and i hate putting my blogs even on semi-hiatuses, bc that usually ends up with them being abandoned and then it makes me feel like i’ve wasted my time: doing a theme, making tags, writing starters... all that could have been gone to something else?

Corrin is Nohr/Conquest focused, meaning anything I do by default will follow that plot. I am canon divergent in the sense that Corrin is slightly more aggressive than in-canon, but beyond that, Conquest it is.

AUs and Crossovers are good stuff. As stated, this blog is selective, so Crossovers will only happen if the muses fit in well together. Expect a new AU every other day (realistically I adore AUs so I will always make a lot, but not that often. if you have an idea, we can plot it out!)

Corrin isn’t really sexual, but I like joking on Sexual Sunday, so expect A LOT of innuendos and implications on here. I personally prefer not to smut, so it will never get beyond implications. Corrin is a war general and she’s a bit more aggressive than her canon counterpart, so violence will also be present. I do not allow rape of any kind either. Hi! I'm finally proud to announce that I'm able to open commissions!

I should tell you that I've hit a little bit of a rough patch.

I recently lost my job and I'm having a little bit of a tough time finding a new one, so I've decided to work extra hard on my art in the meantime, meaning I would open commissions as well.

I'm not asking for much, as I live in a country where the conversion rate from USD to my currency is large. Plus this is my first time asking for actual money so asking for like 50 bucks right out the gate would be a little crazy h a h.

Now my rules are simple:

1- I'm self taught so please be patient with my art, I can try just about anything but you can always tell me what's wrong with it. In this business, the customer is always right.

2- I do work with NSFW art but I will charge far more than for normal drawings. You want some dicks you need to pay up. //bricked

3- I work well with imitating art styles, but the prices are negociable depending on what style you want me to mimick. (EX: Adventure Time style is $10, but, say, something like Cowboy Bebop will be a lot more)

4- Due to my method of payment (Xoom, a subsidiary of PayPal, I couldn't open a PayPal because my country isn't in the list of available countries) the absolute least I can ask for is $10, if that's too much for you then I'm sorry, but I can't haggle with you.

5- I absolutely will not even plug in my tablet until I'm paid first. (No offense to you, but I need the money, I really, really need it. I will not deal with people who won't pay up front.)

Now, I thank you greatly for taking the time to read this over, here are my commission prices much clearer to read than my shit-tastic handwriting.

Bust Shot: This can be either clean lines or sketched, however you like, but I will not change prices for the line quality: $10 USD

Lineart: Just plain lines, no color. I will work hard to make sure you can color it in if you really want to: $10 USD

Full Body: Exactly what it says on the tin, a head to toe drawing with flat colors, I can throw in a palette if you want. $15 USD

Reference Sheet: A front and back drawing with a full palette sheet and accessories, maybe a naked ref if needed (But that'll cost extra if you want the bits) Base price; $20 USD (extra for NSFW ref)

Shaded: either a bust shot or full body drawing with the full shebang of shading and lighting. $20 USD

Full Package: Background and full body drawing with shading and whatever y'all like. $25 USD

Mimicking Style: As mentioned above, it will depend on the style you want me to mimick, it can be as simple as Adventure Time's noodle limbs or as complex as some shit outta Digimon. (I dread the day someone asks for MugenDramon)

extra characters: +5 USD per character.
