I JUST REALIZED SOMETHING REGARDING ALASTOR AND VAGGIE'S DEAL

everyone is gawking over alastor and charlie's deal, but what about alastor and vaggie's deal? in hindsight, its not much- he just doesn't want to fuck with television, right?

that is, until you look at vox. the TELEVISION DEMON. by making that deal, alastor officially is no longer binded to this, and is fully allowed to leave the rest of the hotel in the dust if he finds himself in a complex situation. after all, he did make a deal with the hotel manager about not wanting to mess with TVs or frivilous modern technology, right?

just an interesting thing i bet will be exploited and explored in the next season, since the VEES are the next big bads

Hazbin Hotel AU where sinners look relatively human when they first get to Hell, maybe some sharper teeth or a funky skintone/eye color, but still human. Then, the longer they're in Hell, the more demonic they get. Could be gradual & never stop, could take place over a set period of time and end with them in a set demon form that they're stuck with forever, who knows. There's just SO much horror potential in that kinda thing. Just this slow, painful, probably disgusting, inevitable process of losing your humanity, while simultaneously surrounded by others who are also undergoing that process/already have. There's also some good hurt/comfort in there too! Since everybody would have to go through that process, other sinners who have already gone through it could help younger sinners adjust. Idk man there's just a lot you could do w/ the concept-

...Since I've been seeing this come up a lot, I'm just gonna go ahead and be upfront about it. My Niffty does not see Alastor as a father figure. She is not interested in having a father figure AT ALL.

This is just a personal thing since it reads as infantilization to me and Niffty's an adult woman. As an adult woman myself who is constantly mistaken for being a kid it just rubs me the wrong way.

You all do you, but this is a dynamic I am personally not interested in for them.

Fun Husk centered idea I had

Imagine husk meets a demon that is able to grant peoples deepest desires and offers husk the chance to go back to his days of being an overlord. Him accepting ends up with him being sent to a sort of dream world/universe where he remained an overlord, but never making the connections he does in his actual timeline.

Like him going to an overlord event and seeing Valentino with that universes Angel and seeing him still doing his act or even being worse.

The system enjoyed hazbin hotel so much honestly. Flawed, for sure. Triggering at a few points, especially with unlocking some memories and the digging up shit that shouldn't be dug up without professional help that host has been doing. But it was truly enjoyable.

I hope that as we get more seasons, that it'll ease out and not be so...rushed and overwhelming. It's hard for our brain to keep up with the fast pace sometimes especially with how rushed season 1 was. There is a lot we have gripes with, but we aren't here to review/critique. We are simply just happy to have enjoyed it. Our Niffty alter as well as myself were quite happy with ourselves. A lot of the system felt truly seen and we have probably projected our own trauma a little bit too much.

The Vees content was amazing and we can't wait to see them take on a more lead-antagonist role eventually especially with them being our comfort characters. Especially since it was thanks to a Valentino animatic triggering host that we even realized we were a system in the first place and unlocked a lot of stuff that lifted the veil of confusion around why we were the way we were.

A few bits were certainly triggering. Oddly enough, not actual tw stuff like with Val and Angel, but unrelated things especially with my source self/canon self. It certainly didn't help that host was digging through in desperate search for answers which left us rather vulnerable as a whole. Still. We cannot truly express how happy this has made us. It has allowed us a lot of discussion and personal discovery through our private roleplays without safe person as well. The music was all enjoyable even if a majority of songs didn't end up in our playlist.

Season 1 is certainly a rough start. Rushed world building, many opened plot lines, large timeskips, some characters changes we didn't like just to name a few. But we hope it shall be better as more seasons come out. Especially with more direct focus on specific plotlines. Season 1 is very overwhelming and flawed especially since it's also kind of fast paced and host has slow reactions a lot. But it was a joy and we are so happy that it's finally here.

It's given us a lot of ways to open up/speak about/project our trauma and I'm simply happy that it has given our darling host whom I love dearly the chance for such wonderful changes. It's an extremely personal and not even well understood connection, but we are simply just happy. We enjoyed it thoroughly and eagerly await more content.
