raises my hand i actually like the concept of a shitty parent getting better i just hate when its used to be like "im good now so you should forgive me."

people grow and change and hurt people!!! and those hurt people deserve to move on without having to forgive their abuser!!!

if i did a reread of the walking dead and wrote an essay on how aegon ii and carl are doomed to be the last man standing by their narratives, and what starts out as a sort of cool & nifty super power of always surviving turns into this horrific curse where everyone they know is dying around them & sometimes it’s their fault & sometimes it’s not but either way they can’t ever stop it until they’re sitting at the ending with nothing but their lone daughter to protect but so broken they can no longer connect to her and then their story abruptly ends-

#ok now to actually explain it and not just post no context imgs #it was a while from the time monsterkind was freed to when asriel and chara came back/came to the surface #and in that time life had continued going on without them. as it had the same way when they died #im thinking it was anywhere around a year before frisk in their infrequent trips to the underground #was able to convince flowey to take a piece of their soul so he could hold his goat form together somewhat #and bring him back to the surface #but for chara it took longer. two years maybe? from monster independence day to come back #because frisk had to first find out where chara's real original soul was being kept and then find it and stuff #i can talk about this another time its such a huge can of worms my god #BUT BASICALLY it was a few years and by the time both kids were integrating back into society #the lives of those they loved had changed so drastically #chara didnt know their parents split up. they didnt know asgore killed human children or that their mother went into isolation #not until the game events anyways #and when they cam to the surface and saw all of that stuff -in person- as well as how well/poorly one parent was doing over another #theyyyy didnt take it well. like their mother had a new partner (doesnt matter who take your pick) and was raising frisk #and their dad was super mega turbo divorced and depressed and had nothing but his garden #in their mind toriel didnt need them anymore. she had a new partner and a new human kid and chara had served their purpose #so they elected to stay with asgore so he would have Someone anyone in his life and asriel followed #iiittts a huge mess basically. huge emotional landmine mess of insane proportions #undertale #my art #ask

i usually just post about reassassination and ultimate excalibur alongside less developed stories/universes but brother i have a LOT of stuff that i either hardly talk about or never talk about at all publicly ,,, mostly because they don't have any character designs done yet 💀

#like let me dump a few of the ideas that will probably never actually become real here:#1. story about two vampire hunter girls and one goes missing and the other has to go find her and fights various vampires along the way #(i actually did finish a few designs for this but scrapped it and now a lot of the plot aspects are in reassassination #such as a coven of 7 vampires based on the deadly sins - now the 7 assassins of the clear crucifix organisation in RAA)#2. darkstalkers-ish fighting game that i was really convinced i could make once i learned how to code -#- where the guardians of love and heartbreak fight to prove which love is real #there were multiple characters planned - puppy love which was like a cute girl with a big ass scary fuckin hellhound #sweetheart love who was a chocolate themed magical girl (her gimmick being that she could transform and her fighting style would change)#fake love who was like a scam love doctor old lady called dr.diva #pure lust who was a super tall vampire guy etc etc the list goes on #i kinda want to go through with that one. one problem! i cannot code fighting games #and the one that was pretty well developed - metallic miracle which had a pretty complicated story #basically the world is being attacked by alien creatures that can only be killed by children (never decided why tho)#so the fucked up government takes a bunch of 5-8 year olds and put them into comas and then turns them into cyborgs #to go on suicide missions to kill these aliens. mira's mother is the scientist who created the technology that can send them into comas #and keep their bodies moving n shit and she takes mira onto a different planet to try and save her but theyre found after a while #mira's mother is killed and mira is drafted in the kids v aliens war BUT she is immune to the coma technology #she fights fully aware of what is going on for around a year? and eventually the aliens are driven out and mira is super traumatised #and is one of the only survivors of this 'greater good project' - so they put her in a coma that actually works this time #and send her in a space capsule for years to give her some peace (didnt develop why shes in the space capsule)#anyway 50 years later mira is woken up and taken back to her home planet to help these other guys against smaller-scale threats #and the whole thing is about mira recovering from what happened to her learning to trust others and stuff #looking back the story is kinda edgy n doesnt really make sense and stuff but i think it could be interesting idk #is this oc rambling if its only in the tags?#whatever #oc rambling

fate is, for the most part, a good arthurian adaptation, but somehow fgo manages to be so godawful when it comes to everything round table that it single-handedly manages to cancel that out and make fate as a whole a kinda bad adaptation

#the complete and utter misunderstanding of everything and everyone involved is shocking #gawain in extra is a villain and thus doesn't get much deep exploration but still. it's all bc he's deeply chivalrous and loyal above all #which is in line with his medieval counterpart!! and while i'm still a little bit bitter he's not rider class and wish he had a bit more #influence from certain arthurian traditions. it's understandable that japanese speakers wouldn't have access to most arthurian texts #(as translations of medieval arthurian literature into a language like /english/ are already sorely lacking)#but i can just hold out for a hypothetical walewein (berserker) to show up karl der große/charlemagne style #extra gawain is fine. he serves his purpose and doesnt directly contradict his medieval characterization. his sun powers are even included!#and then in fgo he kills his brother which is. medieval gawain is defined by being a little bit mad about family.#he quite literally causes THE FALL OF CAMELOT bc lancelot (who he's said to love more than anyone) accidentally kills his brothers #and gawain becomes obsessed with revenge. forces arthur into a war against lancelot. and then he dies (how depends on the text)#medieval gawain is willing to forgive the death of his own mother (who is someone i have strong feelings about. don't worry) bc his brother #was the one behind it. in What world would he be willing to kill gaheris!!!#agravain is. eugh. medieval agravain is beautiful. chivalrous and charismatic. he also has a bit of a complex surrounding being compared to #his brother gaheris which manifests as an obsessive desire to kill and (essentially) replace him.#and. while he does a lot of other scheming. largely in regards to lancelot who he's also a little bit obsessed with.#it's also important that he thinks that everything he does not in regards to gaheris is good and right and will save camelot #fate agravain is an evil royal advisor from a children's cartoon. which sucks bc he could easily be a delightfully complex villain #or even a tragic hero if he was actually in-line with his medieval self #no notes on mordred or artoria. whether that's bc they were already well-established enough in other installments to not get butchered #or if i just forgot bc i like to try and mentally block out fgo on most days is 50/50 #morgan i try to block out but the conflation of her with her sister morgause and both ladies of the lake is. rlly bad.#bc she's a good portrayal of morgan but a horrible portrayal of the other three #it leaves vivvianne and nimue sorely underutilized. and as for morgause it's just. morgan could have still evilly influenced mordred if he #was her nephew and. on top of being boring and unoriginal. and messing up the timeline of artoria's rule. it eliminates morgause as a #possible character in fate. which sucks bc she's fascinating in medieval texts.#and as for tristan and bedivere. they aren't atrociously bad or anything they're just underutilized. if you're going to summon a bunch of #round table servants at once and pit them all against bedivere there's absolutely no reason not to include kei.esp considering how likely #it'd be for him to side with his little sister no matter what and the fact that they're Always mentioned in tandem with each other #and tristan should've had a madness enhancement bc love potion. he should only be able to think clearly if isolde is there as well.#but those are less criticisms of what the text did than criticisms of what the text Could have easily done so like i said.

#kdrama blind (2022)#blind 2022 spoilers #tvn ocn blind (2022)#so my theory is the same as other peoples' its confirmed that 13 yoonjae is sungjoon so im thinking sunghoon was there too (somehow idk) an #that hes 11 and jung inseong the juror is 12. 11 and 12 seem to be real brothers? bc in ep1 11 said 'go meet mom' and not 'go meet your mom #and maybe 11 and 13 escaped together after hiding under the floorboards? since sj Was adopted maybe he was taken in when the parents found #sh after they escaped together? and the thing is everyone is involved somehow so if the mother was like in a high position at the center (i #i didnt the lady at the start of ep7 for someone else) then how was sunghoon there? idk i havent gotten that far on my theory except that #hes 11. maybe they were Both adopted? so the next to die is either the lady idr her name or the producer guy. 24 + 7 r confirmed dead now #13 is sungjoon. and inseong is def connected to this somehow like the rest of the jury. ergo my theory that hes 12. also i think the body #they found w ahn taeho's phone in ep8 is jung yoonjung's (yoonjae's older sister) bc of the necklace and the size of the skeleton. so now #they've found one body from the events of 20 years ago that happened at the center. all the jurors' kids will be killed as revenge for the #parents turning a blind eye on them as kids so theyre being punished by having their beloved children taken away from them. i think its #amazing how theyre all connected they dont know it at all. choi soongil was the only one who recognized ahn taeho (bc of the scar) and #yeom hyejin didnt know her father was sending kids to be abused and enslaved. kang youngki saw kids in numbered uniforms doing hard labor #never said a word bc keeping it a secret earned him money that he spent on his own kid who wouldve been around the same age as them.#from ep8 we see that the producer made a docu on the center and just buried it. and ofc mr baek who was the ringleader of all this.#his daughter killed on her birthday and kang youngki's daughter killed on her wedding day as retribution. im sad that ahn taeho died living #a life of guilt and fear moving around all the time but at least hes free from that now. im glad he got to apologize to 'yoonjae' for it #honestly i cant be mad at ahn taeho bc he was a survivor and a child and terrified. also is it just me or did sunghoon look disappointed #when ahn taeho confessed? like thats all the evidence i have supporting my theory that hes 11 i think. ofc theres the vibes? that he and #sungjoon have more history than the shows let on so far but if he was 11 he would be so disappointed bc he planned their escape #anyway come talk to me about this its driving me crazy
