             I know they’re in cowboy hats but .. this is making me want to put the other members of the YANKTON PACK in Twilight verse to a post to expand on who they are so at least some people know who I’m referencing when I talk about them.

Wanahton in his twilight verse entirely letting it be known that they are protected by the THREAT that should anything happen to him or his wife upon coming to Forks Washington, or La Push, an entire and much BIGGER pack over in the Montana/South Dakota area will bring all out WAR and kill every vampire in sight, and will likely try to take over even the La Push pack. So he is also the very presence of an enemy tribe too if things don't go right.

Wanahton in twilight starts out in his verses being pro-purge America of all vampires by killing them. It depends on whether or not his mind has changed.

my favorite development in Wanahton’s updated twilight verse (I’ve yet to write up but it’s the same except he imprints on @paddyfuck and they both arrive to La Push and Forks.) is that being around so many vampires it’s made his once human mate - Anne Bonny, transform into a wolf.

Turns out being Irish descent there are ancient wolf packs in Ireland that Anne’s blood is a direct descendent from. And rather than looking like Wan and the rest of the pack she’s smaller and resembles more of the wolves that are of Ireland than North America.

Which makes me hc all humans imprinted on has a sleeping shapeshifter gene in them.

so In short, @paddyfuck is now part of the Yankton/Yanktonai Wolf Pack and can openly claim it and reference it. Not just through marriage - but she’s a wolf now too.

Wanahton in his twilight verse? His natural attribute is strength, so even for a wolf he’s bigger than most. Also Wanahton and his mate dying means the whole of the Yankton Pack coming to war against all vampires in La Push and all the east coast. So yah. Tread softly, Thanks.

         She knew something was up, and it was clear that she was getting desperate for answers. And now this Bella Swan was going to the last resort to poke at the out of towner. Part of him wondered why, but the other part of him figured it was because he was neither bound by the pack, the treaty, or by the rules of her personal leeches. A failed attempt to step around her on his way to his truck had him halting and fixing her with a look. John ponders on telling the girl before he huffs. “Y’know..” He starts, “You don’t smell as great as Jacob says you do-” Cue, the resume to step around her again.

      “Well isn’t that what you’re doing?” A question is genuine despite a seemingly sharp tone, he searches the leech’s demeanor before exhaling and clearing his throat. Then he turns his gaze to the other vampires standing at a safe distance. They were uneasy, and within their own rights to be. He was told of the agreement that was shared between the blood suckers and the pack; and such a treaty held no bounds on him. “You live, walk, and exist amongst the people - is that not living as you once had?”

"There she is." He mutters, flipping the burger and then turning to stir the onions in the other pan. He knew that with all her waltzing about her day the one thing that would bring his mate back to her side is food. John hums as her arms slide around his middle and he leans back just enough so she can mold against him good and proper. "I knew you'd come at the smell of food - there's burgers already done. Help yourself. There's hotdogs too." And he points with the spatula.

But before she can move he grins and turns his head so he can peck her on the nose - an action to reflect the affection that filled him every single time she was near.

If You Want War, We Will Bring You War: Twilight.

      John E. Wanahton is a loyal member of the Yankton Circle, a pack the exists in the Western parts of the United States. They are part of the Sioux Nation, and like their old ways they exist as seven packs. Seven packs to seven nations. Seven packs to honor the respective Seven Council Fires that are pulled from the very roots of their existence. Their origin is unknown, but history of what has survived has been passed down generation to generation of the elder wolves. And according to their own tales, their history spans back to the great War Chiefs of the Old Ways. And like then, they existed as they always had: in the shadows. With secrest not to be spoken of except for the knowledgeable few.

       John himself shows up to Forks, Washington and the Quileute Indian Reservation on a trip to investigate the big number of deaths and disappearances that had started to rise up in Seattle. The rumors had reach farther east, into the Plains of the Great West where whispers had told the Great Elders that something else was going on. Something to be concerned about, that there might be a great number of pale faces gathering. And to protect their own territories, their own people, and see if this threat would come further inland. And so as he comes to break bread with the Pack of the area, he was told only two tings. One, the pack here tolerates a band of pale faces - and two, their Alpha was Sam Uley. And he would know if this was a threat that would require the strongest of the Great Plains to follow suit to war against the dead ones once again.

         Only an unexpected thing happened; and through his journey of investigation he met her. His world split open when he locked eyes with Leah Clearwater. He had come here as a promise of war, of an answering yet again to such threats against their people - and had found his mate for life. And through imprinting Leah, he learned that many of the stories of finding the one and only were true in every way.

         This is how he ends up staying to help the pack fight against the Newborn Army, and all but purchasing a lone cabin near the home of Billy Black to return to see Leah when his own duties on his own time lets him return to her. By Breaking Dawn he is all but living on sight, and ends up following through the story of Breaking Dawn,

         and the battle that took Seth away from Leah forever.

Y’all I did it. I made up an idea that will make watching breaking dawn easier via the imprinting.

It’s not actually imprinting. Vampire baby used her evolutionary survival development and her powers to inject memories and thoughts into people she made Jacob THINK he uncle-big-brother imprinted on her because she knew he was coming to kill her.

It’s not imprinting it’s survival because baby just didn’t want to die.

Jacob’s soul mate is still out there.

       He was happy she came back at all. There was no telling what would have happened, where she would have went, after she fled off into the night the day they lost Seth. The weeks had passed by like years and the healing process itself had slowed with John’s unwillingness to take his mind off the worries of Leah’s disappearance. Jacob was long gone with that little tic child, the one that they had all fought to protect - and through all their troubles. Through Seth dying, they hadn’t received a single ounce of gratitude. And here they were, preparing for their own end of this conflict, picking up the pieces after the remnants of the Cullen family had scattered to the wind to stand up against the Volturi.

       “I told you it was fine.” He starts, seeing that expression flash across her features, feeling guilt twist in his gut for her to see the gaping scar of missing flesh in his healing arm. Wolves tearing into other wolves, always left the recipient to slower healing. Granted it was still quick by normal standards; but slow when compared to other injuries from other creatures. John himself was almost completely healed after the fight, now there was only his arm and the scars that remained would always be a reminder of that failed attempt in reaching through to Leah. “I’ve been doing it myself this whole time, I can do it a little more.” He finishes as he holds still, unmoving as she begins applying the new dressing to his forearm.
