🐾 - Do they have any pets?

at the present point of the story, the four of them (college baseball teammates) live in a house off campus. they don't have a dog or anything, primarily because charlie is so so exhausted and will not accept more responsibility, though the idea has been floated at length. the closest thing they have to a pet at the house is the collection of houseplants that jake and tyler coparent - they used to belong to charlie's girlfriend ellie, but jake and tyler adopted her plants when she was involved in a serious car accident (she's eventually fine, but she never gets her plants back because the boys are attached to them)

many of them probably had pets at home, but the most interesting is tyler, who was involved in 4h and ffa activities growing up in ohio

🍳 - How well can they cook?

i always think it's really fascinating to know the influence culture has on food and vice versa, so i'll start off by saying that charlie is irish-italian, jake is nigerian, ramón is mexican and tyler is. from ohio. keep this in mind

charlie is an excellent cook. like better than any college guy has a right to be. he's the de facto dad of the team, and there's something that he really likes about using his hands to provide for those around him. he's a great grill guy, but also his pasta maker is his prized possession, and any time he's not in class or at practice he's either at the farmer's market or the italian deli in town.

jake is pretty competent, as he is in most things. he does take turns making family-dinner style meals and can take care of himself, but his greatest contribution is probably the care and upkeep of a small garden in the yard of the boys' house where he grows herbs and vegetables.

tyler is maybe not a great cook but he's a tremendous sous chef. he likes being helpful in any way he can so if you just need some help chopping or prepping he's your man. will do the dishes without being asked though, so he gets points for that

i don't think it's fair to say ramón can't cook. if he wanted to, he would. however, he's lived with charlie through the entirety of his college career and between that and his mom periodically bringing the house 100 tamales at a time, he's never put the effort into developing that skill himself. it's okay, he has lots of other features we love him for.

🧸 - Do they have any stuffed animals? If so, are they decorative or do they sleep with them?

i've never thought about this! i think ramón has a couple that are more for decoration (many things about ramón are about the aesthetic) but tyler has one absolutely ragged tiger that he's had his entire life and couldn't bear to move to college without, especially because that was the first time that he'd lived away from his family and older sisters for an extended period of time.

🍳 — How well can they cook?

Aster

Capable of a few meals, mostly things like curries and stews or stir fries — nothing overly complicated, sometimes a bit labour intensive but always filling. Kind of person to see what items in her fridge need using today and proceeds to throw them all together in a frittata. Is known to be too lazy for even that and will sometimes just microwave a couple of pouches of instant rice and call it a day.

Vernon

Again, hardly a master chef, but still more proficient in the kitchen than his sister. Plans meals according to his work schedule, so if he knows he’s going to be doing three night shifts in a row, he’ll try to meal prep/make things in batches so he has something he can immediately heat up and eat before going to bed after work.

🌱 — Do they have a green thumb or are they a plant killer?

Aster

Plant killer. It’s not that she dislikes plants or doesn’t want to have them, on the contrary, but Aster knows she will forget to water them and otherwise look after them properly. Part because she’s a bit scatterbrained and also she still goes off to other regions for short trips every other month — can’t look after house plants if you aren’t there often enough to do so. Has some fake decorative plants though — all the beauty of the real thing, none of the maintenance

Vernon

A fellow would-be plant murderer. Only difference is Vernon has little to no interest in plants at all, so has never felt a desire to have flowers or greenery in his home. If he was with someone who does like plants and wants them in the home, he won’t be against it, just don’t expect him to remember to water them unless the other person is gonna be out of town for a bit and given him specific instructions on how to look after their plants. In other words: only if he absolutely has to.

Yun is a bit physical once he feels safe within the relationship, holding his partner(s)'s hand, bathing with them, washing their hair, massaging-he also likes to give gifts, ones that are thoughtful and/or catered to someone's needs; like helping them get prepared for a major exam or helping them get to sleep.

🍳How well can they cook?

Surprisingly decent! Yun is nowhere near a master chef but living on his own and hunting for his own food or growing it himself, the dragon has learned how to put things together and even experiments with his leftovers.

🖌️Do they have any hobbies?

Yep! Yun honestly is a huge lover of books, so you can always see him being surrounded by books and he even used to be a cartographer. He loves to trek and hike through the forests-he just loves to explore new places.

☕Coffee or tea?

Tea. Yun can't really stomach coffee and with Ash having gone hyper once for a week, the dragon is not really keen on keeping that in the house.

💘What do they find attractive about their partner(s)?

Looks are good but it's all about the chemistry and even then, Yun tries to be cautious. He finds someone's actual soul to be the most attractive thing, as he's learned firsthand that someone may look perfect on the outside but they are Tartarus incarnate on the inside.

💓What are some signs they’ve fallen for someone? How do they show their affection?

Oh, Yun is a lovesick idiot who gets mad at himself and it's hilarious to watch him from a distance. He will curse and pace, snap and be all frumpy; the moment his crush or the soul he's fallen for is mentioned, he panics and gets flustered easily.

When it comes to showing his affection, Yun is practically like a cat. You will get the little headbutts, purrs, and head rubbing, he'll hold your hand-very attentive and demanding to show that he loves you. He also will cook your favorite meal to the best of his abilities and do whatever it takes to show he cares. Just be patient with any carnal pleasures and him opening up a little. Trust me, it will happen when he's comfortable.

Drew had once been the Head Butler to the esteemed House Rameses and took that job very seriously along with all the dedication and teachings that came with it. It was a blow to both his Pride and heart when that house fell.

But he takes immense pride in his occupation and his work.

And yes, he does know how to cook. He often times had to substitute one of the chefs back at his old job. These takes, he bakes in order to have treats during tea time.

We finished The End of the F***ing World Season 2 today. I’m so glad that it didn’t end on a cliffhanger.

It was my 2nd day of drinking tea. This time I added sugar and milk. It doesn’t make me sleep faster (only on the first day - maybe because I was tired), but it sure helps with my anxiety. If this is not a miracle, idk what is.

How you react if they cooked for you🍳

Harry Potter:

You were in the kitchen hearing Harry cooking up some bacon and eggs. You yawned asking "hiya Harry why are you cooking so early".

Harry smiled "oh you know just wanted to try something new can't let you do all the hard work". You go up behind him hugging his torso.

"Harry it's super early come to be-" he cuts you off by serving some bacon and eggs. "I was taught how to cook this from when I was living with the Dursleys". He smiled placing the plate in front of you.

You grabbed the piece of bacon taking one bite. It was crunchy with a sizzling flavour.

Merlin it was so good you thought Harry was a chef. "Hah not only are you a wizard but an amazing cook as well" you kiss his cheek.

Harry smiled "of course I always knew you would love it y/n". You spend the next hour of the morning eating bacon and eggs.

Ron Weasley:

You and Ron couldn't decide what to have for dinner. You suggested take away but Ron wanted to be a gentleman. He insisted to cook "come on y/n I swear it'll be good".

"mmmm alright but promise not to burn the house down" you wagged your finger at him. He grins excitedly "of course y/n you won't regret it".

You spent the next hour waiting in the living room when you heard all sorts of noise. "Crash!, Bang!" You snap your head towards the kitchen.

"Merlin's beard what is he" before walking in to see a big mess. There was fire over the stove and vegetables flying all over the room. "Erm Ron when did you use magic to cook".

Ron was over by the counter shoving the live beetroot into the pot. "Merlin get in-" you quickly run over holding your wand "deaditigo" you shout.

All the objects and vegetables become normal after the spell. "next time let me cook alright" before you saw something catch your eye.

"is that an omelette" it was perfectly steamed. It was round, soft and so gold it looked heavenly. "Yeah me brothers taught me how to cook of course, mom didn't like me near the stove". Ron wipes his hands with a rag.

"almost caught fire to the house once- bloody ell mom scolded me all night after that" he awrkwardly smiles.

You turn your head to the plate taking one bite. The flavour was unbelievable like a soft, eggy, golden bite it was heavenly. "Merlin's beard please teach me" you whisper.

He smiled and wrapped his arms around your chest. "Yeah erm I think you should see me mom's bloody good they are" you pecked his cheek.

Another successful dinner that didn't end in flames.

Fred Weasley:

Fred and you were learning how to cook to help out for Ginny's birthday party. "Allllright y/n time to make a cake" he smiled as you wrap your hands around his torso.

"yes did you get the ingredients" you looked around as Fred nods. "Yep you bet" he holds up some flower. You were excited to finally bake something for his sweet sister.

Fred managed to grab everything bowls, spoons, pans and the ingredients. Molly trusted you to not make a huge mess knowing how Fred would make it.

You start to pour the flower in and eventually the rest of the ingredients. "Oi y/n I have an idea to how t'a make it interesting" he smirks wickedly.

He decided to pull a little prank whispering "explodocous". He goes back to the other side of the counter. You sat the pan down about to grab the bowl.

"now-" when suddenly the mixture blew up in your face. The batter covered your entire features. You silently glared at Fred "great genius now what we have no batter for the cake".

Fred smiled "don't worry I already have a cute sweet cake right here" he scoops some batter from your cheek. You decide to lick the batter laughing.

You were rather happy that day despite the mess and Molly scolding you later.

Goerge Weasley:

You decided to teach Goerge how to bake vanilla and lavander ice cream. It was a family recipe you enjoyed the old times cooking with your mother.

"Goerge do you have everything" you smiled grabbing the spoon. He nodded "yep right here y/n" you smiled as he places the soon in the cream.

You turn the spoon while he grips you from behind. He spins with the wooden spoon with you leaning his head over your shoulder.

"I love you y/n" he says kissing your cheek. You smile as the batter formed into a purple White cream.

After a while the ice cream looked beautiful a flower complimenting it. You spent the next hour eating with the Weasley family.

Nievelle longbottom:

You and nievelle were quite the famous cooks of Hogwarts. He offered to take classes after you showed him some famous wizarding recipies.

"hey y/n how about we make erm-" he couldn't pronounce the word. "chocolate coated banana and strawberry fondue of course". He smiles "yeah that one" he kisses your cheek.

You begin to put the ingredients together. Nievelle prepares the bananas and strawberries. You melted the chocolate, pouring it into the magic cleansing fountain.

Nievelle smiles "wow y/n it looks really good I'm sure luna and ginny will love it". You looked at the result of the food he helped create.

Chocolate poured over the spout and bananas were planted over the side. The strawberries over took the top covered in a dark delight. "Merlin's beard it looks so good" you clap your hands together.

The rest of the evening you spent the hour eating with neivelle, luna and ginny.

Cedric diggery:

Cedric despite everything was an amazing cook. He knew the most famous of all recipes. You wanted to let him have a go "alright Mr diggery impress me~". You kissed his cheek as you sit down.

"alright y/n here" he smiles wearing an apron heading into the kitchen. You wait as he was clashing and clacking pots, pans and spoons around.

When he was done what was seen before you was otherworldly. It was a honeycomb structured cake with caramel dripping down the sides.

You smile with glee as he bows "you may have the first bite". You licks the caramel dripping from your fingers "oh sweet Merlin this is so good".

You spend the rest of the afternoon eating the caramel and honeycomb cake.

Draco Malfoy:

Despite Draco bragging about being good at many things cooking wasn't one of them. "C'mon y/n I can cook just let me" he begged looking into your eyes. "Fine Malfoy but if my house burns you'll be the first to hear about it" you point firmly at him.
