They are a mirror of their younger selves, both those of only a few years ago and those that live lifetimes away, likely old enough now to be learning their first ballroom dances in Ylisstol

She's glad for the casual comfort that exists between them now, for the fact that she does not need to fear that by accepting his offer she might stoke an old flame she cannot promise to fan.

"Just one," comes her agreement, reluctant only for the reasons she always has been. To dance never had been her forte, not like it was his. Once she had thought that a shortcoming, something that separated them.

Now, as the distance has settled naturally without a war to make them cling so close together, she has come to appreciate it as a difference. It was not meant to be hers. It's better, this way.

With a quiet breath of laughter, she offers him a crystal of her own too. "A fair exchange, then." Her hand extends for his.

so i was rewatching the princess bride and don't know if anyone has said this before but maybe definitely going crazy over the idea that stede's outfit in early-ish(?) s2 (white collar shirt) is like really similar to westley's outfit but just more colorful (and sleeves + gloves are different but YOU GET WHAT I MEAN-)

and dream sequence stede too! (minus the weird lil shoelace chest part idk its 2:00 am right now)

when i heard them say the dread pirate roberts's ship was called the revenge i actually had to do a double take istg

ed's leather outfit was quite literally just mad max so lmk if im just having a stroke and this is a common pirate outfit or not similar enough- just liked the idea of stede's outfit being a nod to the movie or stede still wanting to be like popular pirates (dread pirate roberts) even if it doesn't make any sense in universe or timeline lmao

They follow her along as she dashes towards the forests south west of Whiterun, towards Falkreath. But before she can manage to get there, Farkas is able to cut her off with Aela keeping behind.* Farkas: Allora, calm down. It's me, Farkas. Allora: Go away. *her left eye that used to be near completely over taken with gold is now mostly blue again, but with almost shard-like pieces of the gold covering the iris* I have to make him pay.
