Random thought of the day.

Malenia lost some of her early memories, they were never fully restored, as well as her body. And maybe, that was good for her.

In my headcanon ending, Malenia was finally rid of her curse. She could live a happier life she deserved, together with Miquella and Lyra (my Tarnished OC). And those memories didn't bother her much, so she was able to enjoy it more.

Miquella could have still missed and mourned Goldwyn, some other things... Malenia didn't because, even if she remembered, it felt too vague. Just a thought, but not the feeling.

Of course, she felt shame and guilt for failing Miquella, not saving him from Mohg. That was already enough for her (assuming what she's already been through)

i love realizing just how flexible the concept of "betrayal" is.

an idea i really like: rather than being another soul trapped inside the body of golden freddy, evan doubles as the entity shadow freddy. a nonviolent, reclusive spirit, wearing the twisted face of the animatronic that took his life; with no physical body simply because evan didn't die in the diner. he makes the active choice to help his father (to lure the animatronics to the safe room in the "follow me" minigames, so william can dismantle them) for the same reasons elizabeth does; that's their dad. they care about him. they want to make him proud. the only spirits haunting the fazbear name that don't hold any animosity towards william. and i'm sure, on some level, evan cares about the other children. but at the end of the day, michael is the only afton working against william.

arthur fox was on cbeebies bedtime stories before henry was born , back when he was still quietly only dating catherine and the palace didn't yet know about them . during the height of his bond career .

henry was born 6 years later.

the first time that arthur and catherine went on a royal tour , leaving the kids behind , henry was four and old enough to understand they were leaving . he was devastated and his dad found the old video on youtube and payed it for him . nanny then played it every night for him until they came back two weeks later .

a year after the death of his dad , henry suddenly remembered the video after a visit to a children hospital where he saw the same story. since then has the video and the audio of the short story on his phone .

it took him months to be able to build up the courage to listen to it. when he does , and whenever he does since , he's filled with a warm comfort and a sad ache in equal measures. bittersweet hearing his dad's voice.

even though he's an adult , even though he's in his late teens and then early twenties , sometimes he still falls asleep with his earbuds in listening to his dad on loop . listening to him read I LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK ending with his voice, warm and familiar and so achingly needed saying , " now go to bed , sleep well , goodnight. "

WAR OF HEROES;; SUSTAINED INJURIES

[ I’ll be trying to answer some of the angst/hurt asks tonight so I figured, I might as well put this headcanon out here for context’s sake. It is known from information within the game itself that Seteth is no longer able to transform into his draconic form due to injuries sustained during the War of Heroes, so I wanted to expand on that. ]

For now, let’s focus on the final battle;; in Tailtean Plains, Seiros and her forces face Nemesis and his Ten Elites for the last time, the battle to end this decades-long war. Both sides sustain heavy losses, and it is also the battle where Cichol loses his wife, presumably loses his eldest daughter, and sees his youngest get grievously wounded. Cichol himself faces the Elite Goneril and his mighty axe Freikugel in battle-- the weapon that has already killed his wife and severely wounded Cethleann, now lying unconscious, half-protected beneath her mother’s corpse. In his rage and despair, and with the added exhaustion of a whole day of battle, Cichol is sloppy-- and so Freikugel eventually strikes home, bringing him to his knees. But Goneril does not go for the kill, no. She wishes to maim and torture her prey first, and thus drives the blade of the legendary axe right in the middle of the downed saint’s back, all but severing his spine and destroying the nerves and ligaments between thoracic vertebrae T8-9;; effectively rendering Cichol unable to get back up and continue to fight her. But alas, as humans often do, she gloats for too long over her presupposed victory...

Driven by agony and rage, having crawled next to the bodies of his family, Cichol transforms for one final time-- and he calls forth the Earth that’s under his command, the ground around him erupting in crystal spires that soon get soaked with blood as they pierce friend and foe alike, killing Goneril and creating a crystal cocoon around the spot he and his family have fallen, shaped like the blooming petals of a flower (imagine Molly’s castle from the Entei Pokemon Movie, but more spikey)... It is in there his siblings find him after the battle, unconscious and no longer in his draconic form. While his wife is dead, he and Cethleann survive despite their grievous injuries. Cichol wakes up a month after the end of the war, and spends the next year or so undergoing extensive healing to restore his ability to walk without excruciating pain. Eventually, he does get back up on his feet.

However, the damage done is permanent and affects him to this day, thousands of years later-- if he strains himself too much, such as spending too many hours on top of his wyvern, or sitting in his office without a break for prolonged periods of time, the old injuries flare up, and the pain may range from purely an annoyance, to bad enough that he is forced to take several days of bed-rest before being able to walk without trouble again. Of course, being a stubborn bastard, he often, ah... doesn’t give up unless he literally has to be carried to his rooms. It drives poor Flayn crazy with worry.

As to how this links to his ability to transform;; the loss of said ability is attributed to psychosomatic factors. Technically, there is nothing stopping him from transforming. The injury itself has not robbed him of it, because he’s as much a dragon as he’s a human...oid creature. But whenever he has attempted to let that part of himself take over, he has been met with flashbacks of the battle;; of the pain he went through, of the debilitating fear, of the heart-shattering despair of seeing his wife and daughters die, of the years Flayn spent comatose to heal from her injuries. And thus he just... cannot bring himself to transform. Not with all of this weighting down on him and effectively sending him into an anxiety attack (at the very least), every time he tried to. So, after a while, he just... stopped trying. Accepted that he had lost that part of himself, and just had to move on. With whatever that entailed.

Of course, this changes after he’s captured and experimented on by Those Who Slither in the Dark, and is essentially forced to transform... but oh, well. That is a headcanon for another time !

◇Cynbel◇ Man made God

Cynbel was born a common man with a common name. He is of Celtic origin and at a young age became a warrior. By his forties he had earned the name of Cynbel, meaning Warrior Chief. His prowess in battle earned him favor among his Gods, and they blessed him to never be bested in battle for as long as he drew breath. He met his demise through exhaustion, winning a battle at the cost of his life. Because of his deeds he was granted Godhood in death.

●Buluc Chabtan● War, Sacrifice, and Death

Na' k'i'ik'el was a Mayan woman born in 1326 to two Ral'ma Ing rulers, fire and nature. Although mortal, she exhibited superhuman abilities and began training as a shaman at a young age. During the Spanish conquest, she was unablento disuade the invaders and became a victim herself, enslaved and brought to Europe as a concubine. It was then that the spirit of war entered her, and she would become Buluc Chabtan.

Timeline of the Gods

Gods are often born or created after their existence has already been established. When one becomes a God, they transcend time and space. For instance, if a God comes into creation in the 2000's, they have also exhisted and lived through all time all at once. They will have the memories and experience from their whole life at all times but may not always be able to access it.

From the time Cynbel became a God, he was able to live through past battles and be with his followers from the time he was originally created to present. He probably even helped his mortal self win battles.

Buluc Chabtan is the same way. Although she was born in 1326, she had exhisted all throughout the existence of her people. It can even be said that her birth as a mortal put a pause on her Godhood and played a part in the conquest of her people. It wasn't until her mortal death centuries later that she ascended to Godhood.

Distortion

Do to the meddling of a powerful creation God, in Ellie's world the Gods have been brainwashed snd reverted to their mortal selves. This has caused discourse in the universe and prevented the creation of new Gods.

How they met

The Gods often gather together for large banquets, and it was there that these two war Gods met. Buluc, finding Cynbel worthy and appealing, challenged him to battle. It is said that stars erupted and worlds were destroyed by their might and there would never be a victor in their battle.

Cynbel, not seeking bloodlust, purposed a different challenge. Whoever birthed the stronger child would be the victorious. Buluc accepted this challenge and together they parented Eztli. Unfortunately, due to a bet placed with Au Puch, their child was born with Ixtab's rope around her neck and never drew breath. This started a war among all worlds, as all war Gods joined together and spread bloodshed among their followers.

It wasn't until Ixtab returned the soul to the child that the fighting ceased and Buluc Chabtan was finally named the winner of their contest. Eztli was blessed in death, and destined to become a death God herself, until The Distortion happened.

Final Thoughts

Althought Cynbel is from Celtic origins, his genetic background is of the Greeks. Usually Ral'ma Ing children take on a different ethnic background than either parent, Ellie is two spirited, being both male and female, both Maya and Grecian, both dead and alive. Her aspects of air come from her father and death, giving her a paler appearance. Her aspects of fire come from her mother and darken her skin and give her a more lively appearance.
