Lá Róúil Lá róúil, lá róúil, déanfad lá róúil, Lá róúil, lá róúil, déanfad lá róúil, Lá róúil, lá róúil, déanfad lá róúil, Ní fada go bhfeicfidh mé arís thú.
Tógfar ár spiorad s'ár gcroí Beidh orainn athas an tsaoil Tógfar an cian mór dúinn Is ní fada go mbeidh muid mar a bhí.
Scartha ní bheidh mé go deo, Ó do lámh, ó do mhuirneadh is ó do thaobh, Sinn a bhí lúcháireach lá, Is ní fada go mbeidh muid mar a bhí.
A Great Day A great day, great day, I'll have a great day, It won't be long till I see you again.
Our spirits and our hearts will be lifted, The joys of life will be upon us, The great grief will be lifted from us, It won't be long till we are as we were.
I won't be separated forever, From your hand, from your embrace, from your side, We, that were happy once, It won't be long till we are as we were.

Tagged by @fr2ky ! Took me some time, but I eventually posted my list...
Rules: You can usually tell a lot about a person by the type of music they listen to! Put your favorite playlist on shuffle and list the first 10 but make it 16 songs, then tag 10 people. No skipping!
It was a hard battle between my anime playlist and the one I eventually chose, but what can we do? Next time my playlists with asian songs might shine more. Also, I did expect a lot of songs of Julie Fowlis to appear, but not so much for Eurielle. This playlist only shows one part of my music taste. I absolutely love some of these that came up on shuffle, such as “Bonny at morn” and “Siúil a Rúin”.
1. “Bonny at Morn” by Fellow Pynins
2. “Midsummer’s Song” by Eurielle and Ryan Louder
3. “Oran Nan Raiders” by Julie Fowlis
4. “Sailboat of mine” by Eurielle and Mario Grigorov
5. “Na Hù Bhithinn / Hò Rò Na Priobaidean” by Julie Fowlis, Éamon Doorley, Zoë Conway and John Mc Intyre
6. “City of the Dead” by Eurielle
7. “Siúil a Rúin” by Clannad
8. “A Soothing Croon from Eigg”
9. “An Bairille (Rocky Road to Dublin)” by Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh
10. “Thèid Mi Do Loch Àlainn” by Julie Fowlis
11. “I Am Yours” by Really Slow Motion
12. “Je t’adore” by Eurielle
13. “House Carpenter” by Myrkur
14. “Gjendines Bånsull” by Cathy Brown
15. “Your heart lies here” by Eurielle and Ryan Louder
16. “Lanigan's ball” by Diarmuid O'Leary and the Bards
I tag anyone who wants to do this (and @when-gardenias-bloom).

some julie fowlis concert highlights:
they were selling copies of the new album even though it’s not out yet
and this was the first show of the tour which means i was one of the first people in the world to buy alterum. that’s wild
JULIE’S VOICE IS SO PRETTY LIKE IT’S EVEN PRETTIER IN PERSON
“if you sing puirt-a-beul for ten minutes every night you’ll live to a hundred” - wise words from éamon doorley
julie played a shruti which is the coolest instrument i’ve ever seen
the nervous laughter of the audience when she was teaching us the chorus of smeòrach chlann dòmhnaill and made the “ch” sound. americans are weak
THEY PERFORMED TOUCH THE SKY FOR A LITTLE GIRL IN THE AUDIENCE!!!!!!!
one time éamon went to a starbucks in kansas and the barista thought he was from minnesota
the instrumentals made me wanna get up and dance so bad
i met julie and éamon after the show and p much said “you’re the reason i’m studying linguistics” and they wished me luck in school so now i HAVE to get straight a’s
also i’ve decided. i’m learning gaelic after this semester and i’m going to stick with it no matter what. it’s time.
