I’m constantly debating which Leon is my favorite and my top 3 are always changing based on my mood and hormones, but lord RE4R Leon is just…so different…

I have always loved ID! Leon for the sake of his face card going triple platinum and his expressions. I’ve always felt like ID! Leon is the closest thing to his character we will see. And then ofc, the DILF that is DI! Leon, he pissing me off but I want him so bad.

I don’t know if it’s just me and my personal thought process when it comes to envisioning Leon in a relationship, but I always like to make him corny and a bit of a jokester regardless of his age. (Because again, he’s a loser and I like to stick to it in a way that’s endearing).

Like I just think when he’s in a safe space, like actually safe and not cracking jokes on missions as a way to cope with his crumbling reality, he’s actually kinda funny. And when he’s going to engage in sex, sometimes he doesn’t take it as seriously so he likes to lighten the mood by saying funny shit and bantering. He does it as a way to make his partner feel comfortable, at least that’s how I see it in a domestic dynamic anyway. In a way, I think it’s just an aspect of him that is sort of like letting his inner child be free, just embracing his sense of humor versus using it as a way to cover for his anxiety.

But then again, I reserve this thought process for mostly RE2 & DI! Leon because I see both versions of him doing this, which is ironic because they’re on two opposite sides of the Leon Kennedy trauma spectrum and goes back to my point that after all of the trauma he’s endured, parts of him will remind you of his RE2 self. He’s just more rough around the edges, but that bright eyed rookie never really left him, along with his corniness.
