I can't stop thinking about the rings on Hermes' fingers. I can't. Whats the story behind those? Did he start wearing them because Charon gave them to him as a job well done? The weirdest gift imaginable to your professional associate?

Did Hermes steal them to be a cheeky bastard and got them fitted and put them on for the jokes? Did he start wearing them apropos of nothing? Just happen to start accessorizing like his professional associate? Is it part of a shared uniform? Can we see the employee handbook?

Did Charon go out and get rings commissioned to look exactly like his for not one, but two of his partner in crimes' fingers, slide each lovingly onto Hermes' corresponding digits, and then gently hold his now bejeweled hands in his own to see how they match, knowing Hermes will now carry something of Charon with him when he leaves him for his dangerous work?

I'm just. Asking. Questions. But I swear to God, if we get Charon's portrait and he has a feather or an orange ribbon somewhere on his person, I will be inconsolable for days.

remembering that Eric Heisserer wanted to do Six of Crows from the beginning but netflix bought the rights to just shadow and bone, he said he'd only be involved if he could do Six of Crows, then netflix bought the rights to everything and said do both. again said "do both" in s2. so uhhh it really looks like they're penalizing the cast & crew for a decision THEY made lmao

I hate when I get inspiration for a DND session I know won't arrive in at the very least half a year because I know that even if I write it down I will forget 90% of the good bits before it becomes relevant

Anyway imagine an undead steampunk city (I mean that as the city itself is undead) slowly powering up in sections, the corrupted light of the power sources glowing deeper and deeper into the city until it hits the middle, an ancient monument to the sins of the past once more feeling things move on it's streets but there are no people here. There are only constructs, with artificial memories of magitech crystal origin seeing the world as it used to be, and the fallen empire in it's full glory.

And soon, the rest of the world will see it too.
