She wasnβt expecting a flash bomb to be thrown right before her eyes. Instinctively, she relaxed her hands and covered her eyes. Big mistake.
Tempest froze in place, seeing the bow drawn and aimed for her head. She couldnβt move at all; any sudden movement would get her killed on the spot. Her arm was still in control of the light static among the floor underneath her, but couldnβt do anything to knock the bow out of her hand. Hopefully, her sister heard the explosion from upstairs...
The other fist was clenched, keeping a hard stare on the thief.

(Thief! verse) - Robbing mages wasn't something Nisha normally did. It was always a highly dangerous proposition. But she loved taking risks, and from what she'd heard, the house she'd just broken into was a lucrative proposition. Sure enough, she saw shinies eveywhere. Smiling, she began to scoop them into her loot bag.
It was late. Very late for either of the sisters to be awake. But Tempest was the only one awake in the household, and was busy binge watching a show of hers when she heard the sound of items being scrapped up. Curious, she inched out of her room and tiptoed down the stairs, being as sneaky as she could...
...only to see a thief robbing their home of their valuables.
With a quick flex of a hand, electricity began to spark from her very palm. It quickly spread through the floor and underneath the thief, ready to shock up and freeze her.
