Seeing the term “host” everywhere is weird. Specifically seeing it to refer to someone as the “real” person and everyone else is just an alter/headmate. Even just seeing it used to refer to the one who identifies most with the body is weird.

I say this as a host myself, though we use it to describe the one who’s fronted the most. I identify with the body, but it just seems so strange to make that a requirement for being considered a host??

They're touch-averse after their time with the 𝗗𝗷𝗶𝗻𝗻𝘀, but as they spend more time with the pack this will slowly start to “alleviate”; ONLY with their pack members though ... strangers will continue to be a big HELL NO! 🌟𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝗂𝗌 𝖺𝗅𝗌𝗈 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘵 𝗐𝗁𝖾𝗇 𝗂𝗇 𝗁𝗎𝗆𝖺𝗇 𝖿𝗈𝗋𝗆 (𝗇𝗈 𝖿𝖺𝗇𝗀𝗌/𝖼𝗅𝖺𝗐𝗌 = 𝗏𝗎𝗅𝗇𝖾𝗋𝖺𝖻𝗅𝖾)🌟

He has a tendency to dissociate when under stress (it's how he got through the majority of his time in captivity)

𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥 always tries their best to appear “smaller”, so they stand in a somewhat hunched-over position (when in wolf form they spend most of their time 𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘢 𝘣𝘢𝘭𝘭)

Even when he's comfortable with the pack, despite feeling safe, 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥 will still prefer to spend most of his time in wolf form (unless words/opposable thumbs are needed + he can ONLY fall asleep if he's in his wolf form) 😖

𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥 will sometimes wear a binder (but only once they're fully situated in the pack)

When content & in human form, 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥 will often subconsciously start humming to himself (+ oftentimes he'll sing to the pups, but only if no one else is around) 🎶

Because of their extended captivity, 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥 has become adept at recognizing/remembering sound patterns that specific people make (breathing/walking/etc...) & identifying them based on it (this helped them tailor their behaviour based on which 𝗗𝗷𝗶𝗻𝗻 was approaching their cage/person)

Even in his human form, 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥 has 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘺 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘱 𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴 🐺

kotoko post so true. she’s a lone wolf but wolves are supposed 2 b in packs. they are social animals! wolves will sometimes leave the group temporarily, but they’re not suited for long-term solitude. if they leave a pack, they look for other wolves to join. a lone wolf is a wolf that is searching for companions.

YEAH.... it makes me :[ to think about it ough... I'm SO curious to learn whether kotoko had a pack of her own at some point or if she's always been a lone wolf 🤔 something tells me it's the former and I really wanna find out more about her past!!
