Master Sword Pt 4: Twilight, Legend, and the Power of the Master Sword

Part 1: Sky / Part 2: Time, Wars, Four, Hyrule, Wind / Part 3: Wild

What do Twilight and Legend think of the Master Sword? The answer is surprisingly complicated and it reveals some important things about the Power of the Sword.

First off: In New Time New Place, Sky asks Twilight what his opinion is of the Master Sword and Twi's response is very positive.

Then there's the whole Divine Dark Reflections story arc which highlights an interesting revelation that Twilight and Legend figure out (In Divine Dark Reflections Pt 7): the power of the Master Sword to ward off evil is directly related to it's condition. When discussing ways to shift Legend from his dark world form back to Hylian, Twilight suggests the Master Sword, but Legend disagrees.

So why did it work for Twilight but not for Legend? Well...

Twilight's version of the sword was in perfect condition and thus was able to be used to shift Twilight from Wolf to Hylian at Will, but in Legend's adventure, it was in a decayed state and could not be used to shift from rabbit to Hylian without the aid of a moon pearl.

Because in Linked Universe, the Master Sword they are using is from Sky's era, the sword is at it's youngest and strongest state of existing and it has the most power against the forces of darkness (i.e. the Shadow). Therefore, it is indeed strong enough to transform Legend back to his normal Hylian self in Divine Dark Reflections Pt 10 and to transform Wolfie back into Twilight in Sunset pt 3.

In Sunset Part 11, Legend spends 3 pages arguing with Wind and Four over the Master Sword's power to dispel darkness and evil. Legend is the Master Sword's staunch defender. And in the end when the fight is broken up by Warriors, Sky backs up Legend.

So in summary, Both Twilight and Legend have positive views of the sacred blade and both are very strong supporters and witnesses of the Power of the Master Sword.

Kahnzi was originally described as more cutesy and delicate than the average orc. It was so much work but I think I conserved the balance of orc + baby face pretty well??? At least I hope so, lol. He's also the one who taught Gem to braid hair so yeah. The braid's a must 🥰🥰 I was so scared of redesigning Sarman to be honest. I wanted NEEDED him to be bald with a ginger beard. I thought he'd look goofy but the goggles make it work I think?? I actually love how he looks right now. He has the look of a kind father <3

A joke between her and a few of the CARATS who’ve told her they don’t eat the crust of pizza once during a fansign. She’s even said this to other idols and members of SEVENTEEN. One of her quotes that have become more of a meme or is mostly associated with her. Doesn’t mind it, fully backs her statement.

A joke between her and the members of SEVENTEEN from various dance practices & is also a low blow to people who don’t put in a lot effort in their comebacks and then complain about not getting attention, awards, or praises. She hates people complaining about not getting certain things if they don’t try hard enough. Another quote that gets highly meme’d from her.

CARATS favorite person in awkward situations. When there’s nothing to say she’ll just say this. Oddly referenced a lot. Is often a TIKTOK audio with some ship edits. she really doesn’t get it tbh. First hand embarrassment she feels when people bring it up. everytime. She can’t help it, she’s just naturally awkward around people she admired or doesn’t know well enough.

CARATS love a dedicated queen. She loves her job and will continue to do it till she can’t anymore. First said on a variety show but she has also stated it multiple times during vlives and speeches. Was also once a caption on an Instagram post. She’s v passionate about her job and hobbies.

Any chance she gets she will express her gratitude and love for CARATS as they’ve been extremely supportive of her through thick and thin. Screams her love and praise to them at concerts and fansigns. Makes sure that there is no CARAT that feels unloved or self-conscious about themselves.

It isn’t very often she is allowed to be open and emotional with CARATS. They love how raw she gets and how well she articulates her experiences and emotions in a way to help other people who may be going through the same thing. This quote originated in a documentary that she and the boys made. Tried not to cry when she first said it. she’s v emotional.
