You worked as a photographer and you’d be taking some pictures for them so it would be perfect, Tavi wouldn’t even know you were there! You got dressed up for the occasion, a simple white button up accompanied with some black dress pants and some black heels.

Your hair would be thrown up in an updo hair style. You picked out some earrings and few bracelets to accompany your outfit, as well as a necklace. Everything was completed and you were off!

By the time you made it there the paparazzi already arrived, snapping pictures of the legends. He couldn’t help but smile, his heart was going a million miles per hour right now. And your eyes lingering on his face didn’t help him with the feelings arising in his chest, his heart felt like it was going to burst.

Sometimes, he wondered if you knew what you were doing to him, he was a stuttering, chuckling mess. The poor guy couldn’t help get nervous around you, he felt stressed out and excited at the same time.

He’d talk a little too much when he was around you… it made him self conscious… but it always got his adrenaline going. Now today? Today, Elliot really thought he was going faint on the spot. Apparently, the games thought it would be amazing for you and Elliot to have an open mic night with Fuse.

It was a sunday morning, the newly called Overwatch unit was called— everyone has changed over the years and it was finally starting to sink in.. But during all that time there was a love that resided within individual, Overwatch is a family, not only an organization but a people.

After a few laughs, much needed conversations and introductions you were set.. It was strange getting back in gear but the adrenaline came back just like many years ago, the only difference is you’re alone, the objective was to act a guard, simple enough right?

It’s been a few years since you’ve been in Russia, the country is colder then ever and you can’t seem to shake the chill. Other than that the operation was running smoothly, there was no disturbances or altercations. Seems like this would be an easy mission thats what you thought at least.

⠀ ★ ⠀ | ARGUMENTS WITH JAY WERE RARE. It was never a common occurrence, you truly didn’t understand what was getting him so riled up now. On occasions he had his moods but it was never this bad.

All you could do was sit and stare back at those onyx hues as he glared at you with such hostility.

You hated situations like this with him. His anger was never explosive or vocal, just quiet like him. The feeling was sort of unsettling. You could never pinpoint what was running through his head.

You’d only be met with a straight face:  he would let up eventually, right? Playing the quiet game with him was anything but satisfying. you didn’t even do anything.

He just showed up unannounced to your front step and you willingly let him, you’ve known him since grade school. It’s not like you could say no anyways.

All of that lead up to this.  All of this overthinking caused you to lose Jay, gone from his original spot with such efficiency  Sometimes he truly did irk you.

Seriously was he always this petty? All he seemed to do was stand up and gaze at you the look was unreadable.

It seems once he finds his words he inches closer, the close proximity with Jay was a bit confusing but it didn’t shock you that much

That was until he kissed you.

Jay Jo kissed you.

And all you can do is start back dumbfounded that he would ever kiss you, it take you by surprise obviously, and it seems to take Jay by surprise as well.

His cheeks flush at what he did— mouth already preparing for a flurry of apologies; but instead you kiss back, and you’re surprised by what you did — he seems taken a back as well.

Theres a silence that lingers between you and Jay, flushed faces and widened eyes gaze back at each other with a confused gaze.

❛ .. So how long have you wanted to do that .. ? ❜ you spoke, softly hues gaze at Jay’s expression, this was .. strange to say the least.

It seems like both of you had feeling harbored within you to cause such an action to happen, what was once seen as a childhood friend could he seen as more ?

⠀ ★ ⠀ | Y/N 04 JOKER 01 , YOU CHEERED. this was pretty amusing to see him so distraught with every loss though it was difficult to tell from the untrained eye you urge him to play another round, insisting that this would be his game.

It wasn’t, but at least he tried! Who would’ve thought he would be so bad at games? A disgruntled expression could be seen on his visage. Your hand rested on the small of his back, giving a few pats of reassurance ❛ Maybe this isn’t your game J, let’s try basketball him? Then we can take some pictures! And get some food after ❜ you suggest, brows wiggle in response.

A low grumble escapes Joker, you take that as a yes. Your grip on hand is a sweet contrast, calloused palms rub against your smooth ones something he always adored and so he follows, the change of air always felt so nice something much softer and delicate than him.

The contrast in personalities might’ve been humorous to some, and to an extent it was, but you were a fresh breath of air. Consistent fights and beatings really do take a toll on his body and mental.. but then he has you to calm him down.

You never scolded him, always so quiet and diligent as you work away at his wounds, your brows furrow as you worked. a comfortable filling the room.

A mile plays on his lips, quick and fleeting. You catch it but choose not to say anything, keeping your curiosity and interest at bay.

You finally make it to the basketball game, now basketball wasn't really your forte or strong suit so, hopefully, it gave him a bit of an edge against you.

And it did, he gained a whopping 67 points against your measly 21, ❛ I was going easy on you, by the way, way to go! my little hooper eh? ❜ you'd tease, a soft scoff escapes his lips along with a small ❛ Whatever ❜ . he says this yet his arm wraps around your waist

You persist a bit more, lips curve into a smile ❛ I’d be a really cute basketball fan, your personal cheerleader even ? ❜ he's taken a back at the statement, hues widen at the words. Joker is definitely surprised.

The two of you order some pizza, the chatter stays at a low tone for the most part, small remarks are thrown here and there and few pictures are taken.

A faint blush appears on his expression, a small scoff escapes his lips ❛ You’d look cute in a cheerleader suit. I definitely need to see you in one sometime ❜ note to self, buy a cheerleading outfit for J, you nod a little too eagerly you but it’s 50/50 chance he’ll actually believe you’re getting the get up.

Truth be told the date went super well laughs and smiles were shared along with banter. More arcade dates would be needed.
