But he’s definitely the kind of man who talks to other people and flirts… Yet hates the idea of you doing that very same thing. Probably because of pride or ego but who really knows? I can see him being very possessive even when nothing is officially said about your relationship with him.

✦ The first thing that comes into mind with Wooin is having a very public relationship with a lot of pda. I think it’s mostly shown on social media and he’s very adamant on having you film his street races.

✦ Lots and lots of shopping dates, you guys splurge together !!

✦ Speaking of clothing? You guys definitely match with one another!

✦ I’m convinced he can’t cook so you guys go on lots of restaurant dates and eat out. On the bright side that means you guys travel around a ton.

● In the "Search for Lost Spirits" gameplay, the scattered Roaming Spirits will avoid nearby characters. Travelers must work with other players and use this behavior to drive the Roaming Spirits to the Spirithub and accumulate Spirit Count.

● In the "Evil Banisher" gameplay, Travelers must banish opponents that are disrupting the rite by completing all Banishing Rite objectives and obtain Banishing Aura in order to finish the battle more efficiently.

● In the "Restoring Fragmented Records" gameplay, Travelers must place the fragments in the area in a specific order and position, and adjust the relative positions of the layers, using overlapping, blocking, and other methods to restore the overall picture to the target state.

𝐚 𝐩𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 paramedic!reader x prohero!bakugo

a/n: happy birthday the love of my life, the light of my mornings, and the stars of my dusk @kiyelle ! i'm posting this a lil earlier, but i hope you have an amazing birthday sweetheart; i'm so glad we're close and i can't wait to visit you in paris and go to the olympics with you <33 tw. blood, injuries, swearing, hospitals, needle mention

bakugo’s back slammed into a wall, and his head snapped backward, knocking against the concrete. blood ran down his forehead into his eyes, clouding his vision into a blur of red.

heaving in an agonising breath, bakugo ran through every situation and possible action available. his injuries were bad but the villain wasn’t in the greatest shape either; bakugo wasn’t going to let himself reach this level of damage without bringing them down with him too. so if he could just get the fuck up, he could finally crush the pesky bastard into a bloody pulp. 

but just as his hands began warming up, through the ringing of his ears bakugo heard muted sounds of a fight starting up again behind the screen of smoke. his hands went cold. there weren’t any other heroes on duty nearby, and if they were, they definitely weren't strong enough to take on this calibre of villain. 

bakugo gritted his teeth, and cursed at whichever dumb extra came and interrupted the battle, adding on another risk factor that bakugo has to keep in mind.

“stay still.” a stern voice came from beside him, and bakugo started, head whipping to the source of the voice. 

“i said stay still.” you punctuated with a snarl. “you’re critically injured. stay down. shoto is here and taking care of the villain.”

he recognised you. even through the crimson blurring his vision and even through the ringing in the ears, he recognised you. and his blood boiled at the sight.  

“i’m fine.” bakugo snapped, jerking himself away from your precise hands assessing his injuries. the sudden movement elicited a hiss, a stabbing pain blooming in his chest. 

“no, dynamight.” you always say his name with such venom. each syllable like a slap to his face. “you’re not. several ribs broken, possibly a punctured lung, a dislocated shoulder, and a concussion are only just some of your injuries.”

bakugo clenched his jaw and his ruby eyes burned into your own obstinate ones. he knew each and every thing you said was correct and his nostrils flared at the thought. 

“so shut the fuck up, let me do my work, and you can go on your merry way as fast as possible because trust me, we all want that. got it?” you stare at him, a brow raised just waiting for him to combat your words. 

if icy hot truly was here, then in reality, the battle was already over. bakugo was sure all civilians were evacuated, and that the villain was damaged just enough that one more grapple would have ended it. 

“hurry up shitty woman.” his eyes tore from yours, and he looked forward, refusing to acknowledge you. as soon as he gave his consent, you started working, hands moving with a practised fluency. he respected your skills and what you did, but bakugo didn’t miss (and definitely didn’t appreciate) the colourful mumbling underneath your breath, most likely aimed at him.

as you tried to staunch the blood loss from the various gashes that you could see on his body, you could tell he was losing blood worryingly fast. his eyes, however razor focused they usually were when you would watch him on the television, were losing focus, and his pupils were dilated, the inky blank eating up the burning crimson. 

“dynamight.” you make eye contact. “the ambulance is right around the corner. my colleagues know our location and are coming with a stretcher and you’ll be in a hospital in no time.” you speak clearly and concisely, gently guiding him to lay down on his back, and preparing a tourniquet. “just focus on your breathing.”

his laboured breaths grew rhythmic, and his eyes fluttered to a close. as his vision grew black, he could hear your voice calling over more paramedics, and as he lost consciousness the last thing he felt was the cool gentle touch of your palm on his forehead, pushing back the blonde strands stuck to his sweaty skin.

the ringing in his ears were dull now. his head felt like it was stuffed full of cotton, and he could barely feel his limbs. bakugo tried to sit up with a grunt, but was immediately shut down with a firm hand to his chest. “nu-uh, you’re not going anywhere. especially not with those injuries.”

bakugo prepared to bare his teeth at whoever dared to stop him, but as his eyes laid on you, his eyebrows shot up in surprise. you didn't usually stay with him until he woke up. usually you just storm into the aftermath of his battles, and cuss at him until he stands down to let you treat him. that doesn’t always work, unfortunately for you. but when he does, you just leave and disappear as quickly as you came.

“the hell are you doing here?” bakugo rasps, each breath still a symphony of pain.

“making sure my patient is ok.” you cross your arms, eyes drifting over to look outside the window beside his hospital bed. “you were pretty wrecked by that villain. got me worried for a second there.” you frowned, and bakugo noticed the stiffness in your posture.

he coughed out a breath of laughter. “as if i would let some puny shit-stain of a villain like that take me down.”

at those words, a burst of laughter erupted from you, and bakugo paused. he doesn’t think he’s ever heard you laugh like that before. maybe the rare exhale of air from your nose as he swears at you from your many previous encounters, but never like this.

“that’s true.” you concede, and get up from where you were sat next to him. bakugo’s ruby eyes track your every movement as you go to slide open the door of his ward “I’ll go get your nurse. try not to scare them off-“

“thank you.”

you freeze, you’re hand resting light against the doorhandle. you had to question whether you imagined hearing those words as you turn to look at the bed ridden pro hero. 

“sorry?”

“you heard me.” bakugo looked stonily ahead of him, refusing to meet your eyes. 

a smile crept on to your lips. so he finally decided to show some gratitude; it only took him about three life or death situations. oh, you were going to remember this for a very very long time. and by the grimaced look on his face, he knew exactly that. 

“hm sorry dynamight,” his jaw clenched and his fists tightened at the way you said his name. “i didn’t quite catch that.” you hum tapping a finger against your chin comically with the most infuriating smile bakugo has ever seen. 

“get your hearing checked then dipshit i’m not repeating myself.” 

“that what you say to the person who saved your life?”

“i already said thank you now fuck off.”

you laugh softly to yourself; even when in a hospital bed, completely immobile with countless tubes and needles stuck inside of him is he still an annoying brat.

“don’t miss me too much.” you give him a two finger salute, and as you turn to leave, you just miss the ruby stare that flick over to you, and linger even as the door slides to a close.

— if bakugou be seeing his kid, he would NOT believe in it. He has a dream to become number one! Why would he settle down and have a kid in the first place?! The little boy looked him dead in the eyes and said, "you look ugly."

His friends laughed out loud at him and asked who was the mother of the kid bakugou. The kid didn't answer and ignored the question. Because he saw you passing by the hallways and hugged you. You were surprised to see the kid hugging your waist.

"Uhh, kid? I think you've mistaken me.."

Bakugou and the rest saw you, and had their jaws wide open, except him. No no, it can't be you.

"Mama, why does dada look so ugly?" he pointed out bakugou. You laughed, "kid, I think you banged your head or something," you patted his little head. You crouched down and asked, "what's your daddy and mommy looked like?"

Bakugou's ear perked up and listened to the kid's answer, "mama was a good teacher and dada was this big scary guy who blasts bad guys to the sky! and! and! i-i wanna be like that too!" The kid said with full energy with the corner of his eyes, started to tear up.

Kirishima and the others stared bawling their eyes out from the cuteness of the kid's answer. Kirishima started clapping, "what a *sniff* manly kid"

The kid began to disappear like a cloud of dust and was gone for ten seconds, probably returned to his original world and home. The bell rang, signaling everyone to go back to their respected classes.

You were about to go back to your calss when bakugou stepped ou and said, "i'll walk you to class."

𝐓𝐎𝐃𝐎𝐑𝐎𝐊𝐈

— he sees the kid in the heights alliance, which was weird. Who lets their child be lost in this ginormous building? He approached the girl and asked, "are you lost? Does your parents know that you're here?"

The little girl shook her head in disagreement, "i-i just woke up and i was here, i don't know why i'm here because that i- d-daddy will get angry if i got lost..." she cried. Poor little girl.

He offered his hand to her and said, "i'll help you find you parents."

The little girl held his hand gently and giggled, "your hand is cold. Are you sick?" She asked. Todoroki shook his head and replied, "it's because of my quirk," he showed both of his quirks simultaneously, revealing ice on the left and fire on the left.

The little girl's eyes began to widen her smile widened as he sees todoroki power that reminds her of her daddy. "y-you have the same powers as my daddy!" She excitingly said.

Todoroki raised his eyebrows in confusion, "may i ask on what's you daddy's name?" He asked.

"Oh! My daddy's name is Todoroki Shouto," she replied. A good idea popped on his mind, if this was his daughter then, who was the mother? "May i also know who is your mother?" He asked once again.

"My mommy's name is Todoroki y/n. But daddy always calls her darling. Ewww," she formed bith of her index fingers with a 'x' sign and sticks out her tongue.

Oh.

Out of all people, it has to be you. And he likes the idea of it.

𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐎𝐔

— the funny bit was that shinsou's eye widened as he sees the kid who has the same face as him. He looked at the kid once again, to see he was not dreaming just simply too sleepy that he was seeing someone.

"Come on dad, don't look at me like that- you're even more creepy," she said. He blinked a couple of times and looked away, "sorry," he apologized. The little girl pointed at him, "I didn't know why mom married you anyway. You always looked sleepy."

He felt like an iron block fell on his head when he's supposed to be daughter roasted him. "Is that how you speak to everyone?" He asked the girl.

"—shinsou! kuro was stick in the tree again!"

The little girl smiled widely with her eyes blaming with happiness, she ran off to the voice where it came from. Shinsou heard your yelling voice so he ran off in your direction. Both of them reached to you to see you panic. Because the cat was on the tree.

Shinsou look above and let kut a small sigh.

"How did he even get there?"

"Well, bakugou earlier tried to go near to Kuro and yeah, he jumped off and rushed out to the tree, and now I can't do that because I can't climb— oh, who's this little girl?" You bend your knees to see the girl.

"Mama!" She exclaimed. Both you and shinsou blushed at the little girl's word. Shinsou blushed more because now he knew the mother of his child. Whoever thought of him and you, having a kid together?

it hurts because he does mean it this time.

promises of “i can do better— i will be better” spill out of his mouth so much they could form oceans. yet, because you’ve heard it so many times— because you’ve waded through these waters so many times— they’re unlikely to move you.

it hurts because you want him to mean it this time.

you can’t forget that you loved him. maybe that’s why you stayed as long as you did, why you forgave as long as you did. that knowing of loving him, of having had loved him— almost second nature to you— begs almost as much as he does for you to stay.

it hurts because you can’t trust that he means it this time.

yes, he wants you to. so badly it numbs every other feeling he has, so badly it leaves his nerves in shock, hands trembling a little as he reaches for you.

yes, you want to. so badly it tugs at you painfully, threatening to damage you more than being abandoned by him has.

that’s exactly why you have to leave.

the reality hits him with such force it almost gives him whiplash, and all he can do is watch you turn your back on his trembling hand, the same hand you know you would’ve taken had he realised sooner. had he learned sooner. had he listened sooner.

shoto can’t do anything but watch as you walk out of the room, of the house, on him— yet he knows he walked out first a long time ago.

and it hurts because he knows you can’t walk back because he promises to.

it hurts because he knows it’s not enough this time.

when he wakes up with your right arm around his torso and your leg over his, he smiles softly to himself, pleased with the closeness. he doesn’t move, only snuggles further into your embrace. he hears your quiet exhale, feels you nuzzle your face into his neck.

“good morning,” he whispers, doubting you’ll hear him. “sleep well?”

surprisingly, you shift, leg falling back onto the sheets. “yeah,” you whisper, “you’re very comfortable.” his cheeks warm with both affection and light embarrassment at your words, and he chuckles to himself. “love you.”

➶ katsuki bakugo

he’s a light sleeper, and when he feels you grip onto him at night, he wakes up with a scowl on his face. the lightness of your face just barely against his back and your right arm wrapped around him pulls the scowl right off his face.

he doesn’t say anything, only falls back to sleep; he’ll likely tease you the next morning about it, though. however, he can’t say he didn’t like it.

he wasn’t fully asleep when you’d cuddled him like this, and was very surprised and delighted to feel your embrace. “everything okay, baby?” he asks, noticing how tightly you’re gripping him.

you try to find the right words to tell him you were afraid and needed some comfort, but all you say is “i needed you.” part of him feels prideful (?) while the other part of him feels flustered. he makes a mental note to cuddle you like this whenever he’s feeling upset.

➶ tamaki amajiki

he woke up in the morning, about to get himself ready for the day; as he tried to leave the bed, he felt your tight grip preventing him from doing so.  

“hey,” he says softly, “i have to get ready.” he rubs a hand across your back, hoping to wake you up.

you stir, sighing heavily. “please don’t. can you stay home today?”

“i can,” he says immediately, “of course i can. anything for you.”

when your earbuds get tangled, tsukishima silently grabs them from you and untangles them, handing them back to you without a word. if you use rechargable headphones, he always plugs them in when he sees them.

if you’re sitting on the couch or bed alone, kageyama always sits down beside you and wraps his arms around you. he often does this after petty fights; presses his face into your neck and whispers i’m sorry. 

whenever you’re doing something and a good song comes on, semi grabs your hands and dances with you to it, spinning you around and laughing. he’ll get flustered if you do this to him.

kuroo helps you with anything you may be physically struggling with, and he inadvertently flirts with you while helping you out.

he's most definitely the type to walk you to every class.

No matter what class you got, no matter what the time he’s walking you to class 

Always debating the professor

Could be a simple question like “did you do the assignment?” And katsuki’s up in arms 

He’s not a law major but the way you would think that because of his argument 

Providing 108 reasons on why he didn’t do the assignment which text evidence and sources 

He’s a business major, planning on starting his own business 

But only if he gets to classes on time

Half of the time he’s in class late, giving the professor a small smirk before sitting down and answering questions

You know the “is never in school but gets straight A’s trope?” 

That’s just Katsuki 

He’s always in the cafe, writing something down but you’ll almost never see him anywhere else doing assignments 

Everyone knows him and he’s even sometimes seen at the parties frat boys 

Overall a very known presence on campus 

Midoriya Izuku 

He talked the RA into a single bedroom

No one knows how he got it

Just one day a freshman knocked on the door thinking it was empty and Izu answered 

He works more than the RA’s at this point

Has everything in his dorm 

A printer? Yes has it 

Extra pens? Yes that too

A heater? Yup tucked away in that little corner 

His mom is the type of mom to give him care packages 

Stuffed to the brim with letters cookies and everything else a boy could need from his mom

Todoroki Shoto 

Surprise student

No one even knows he’s in the English Lit class half the time 

Oh, did i mention he’d be in English Literature as his major?

Professors love him 

Even though that’s 90 percent due to the fact that Shoto’s dad threw a boatload of money at the university he went to 

Very down to earth student 

Does his assignments in the park because he says that the fresh air helps him think better

Art major Hanta >>>

Hands, pants, and shirt always covered in paint, chalk, and other artsy things 

A huge flirt with the ladies

But once he falls, he falls hard

Rooming with Denki and helps him with his franchise when he can

Sleeping at 1, waking up at 2 kind of vibes

But still makes it to his classes early to talk to the professors

Somehow is know by all the directors for his projects

All in all Hanta would have a blast in university

Definitely a art or gaming develop major 

Might major/minor it 

Wants to make his own franchise like Marvel 

Takes afternoon classes because he’s not waking up before 12 on any given day 

All because he was designing a new (character, design, program) for his franchise 

Another person who’s chill with the professors 

But on a first name basis chill 

Head always lost in the clouds

He's always running late to class even though he takes all afternoon classes

Always has a monster in his hand for extra energy

In all honestly, it finally felt like a break. A time to hunker down and take time to focus on his parents. A stroll through Crime Alley would do. Bruce never forgets about his parents, nor does he forget that night. He comes back to remind himself of what happened. How he couldn’t stop it. How he failed to protect them. It’s a constant reminder, a punishment.

Tension never leaves Bruce’s body. He’s always so high strung, constantly prepared for fight or flight. Shoulders are tense, brows are furries and teeth are gritted. This was his very being now.

Late nights, cold and oh, so lonely. The heavy bass of boots sloshing through rain water across the concrete street. Vengeance has filled the role of Gotham’s protector for long enough to know everything about the city he tirelessly protects. He knows this city better than anyone else.

But he still can’t stomach the alleyway.

Today, Bruce doesn’t bring flowers, but he brings himself. And hopefully, that’s enough for them.

From above the street, unbeknownst to the Bat. He has an angel, a watcher if you will. The city has swallowed him whole and spat him right back at out tonight. Senses are diminished, hazy from the beatings of tonight. Usually, he’s more attentive than this.

Funnily enough, you just moved into the city of Gotham three weeks ago. It’s a dreary, dull city. But at least it’s away from home. Right? Sure, the apartment you were currently living in definitely seemed haunted and it literally oversaw the alleyway the Waynes died in. Why did no one tell you they got mugged? (…) But what could you do? It’s shitty but the only thing you could afford in this damned economy.

And dude, it was definitely haunted.

You actually thought you were hallucinating the first time you laid your eyes on it. The fucking Bat, Vengeance. Gotham Cities actuals protector? It was odd and horrifying. You expected to see him raging through the alley in his moody glory. Big, defiant, and spooky!

But he actually seemed defeated? In a way? His strides were slow. Then, he knelt down onto the pavement and stayed there. It’s weird, this habitual routine of the Bat coming by and kneeling happened constantly. Well, to be fair he did patrol your building after that. Scouring the rooftops for any signs of peril within the area.

When he was done, he would come back to your building and linger on the fire escape. Sometimes you could hear his heavy footsteps on the rooftops or the iron steps.

Now, no one ever said you were the brightest in the bunch. You moved to Gotham for goodness sake. Anyways, you decided to actually make contact with the Bat. Which in theory, sounds like a good idea because who wouldn’t want a hero in their pocket? Well, a vigilante. But you digress (…) If coming near the alley brings him down, maybe he needs a lift?

The general idea was, leave a note or a gift for Vengeance and leave him be. So, that’s how it begun.

It was the third time Bruce visited the crime alley. This time, he had the intention to make his trip revolve only around his parents.

But then he saw you.

Granted, you were definitely not expecting to see anyone or someone like the Batman at this time of night. So you scrambled off of your balcony and dropped some sort of post-it note on the way out. There were three things on Bruce’s mind. How many times have you seen him and did you know his habits or who he was? Paranoia gnaws away at his guts and creates a nasty hole in his stomach.

He was a master of overthinking.

The Bat was quick to snatch up the post-it note you dropped, taking the time to read and analyze your penmanship. Was it lined with some sort of poison? Was it a tracking device? He waits for a moment. Grunting at the words etched into the paper.

Huh.

Alfred would tease him for this.

An admirer? He was stumped.

It’s been about a week since you’ve seen Vengeance, your gifts of food and ever abundant notes never stopped though. You were starting to think he changed his route ever since that night he caught you on the railing.

First off, he was terrifying up close (the man was ten feet away) and second off, how was he able to catch you. Some part of you expected the man to interrogate you or something.

He didn’t, thank goodness. But you kind of missed seeing the cryptic Bat.

On the other hand, Bruce decided to do some research on you. A through background check would never hurt and who knows if you wanted to kill him? It could all be a facade. Each baked good and beverage you left out for the Bat was analyzed and tested. It could’ve been poisoned, laced, or worst, set to detonate. He was taking precautions. But Alfred insisted it was a good gesture.

Whatever it was, you never stopped. Bruce changed his route of course, there was no reason to let his guard down. But, he did appreciate the notes. To an extent. He just couldn’t help but think of the uncertainty.

The latest one he was holding onto was nothing short of thoughtful.

〞I hope you're having a good day :) (Btw, I haven’t seen you around!〞

So for the most part you were attentive. So he could commend you for that.

Despite all of the alarms in his brain telling him to stick to the new route, he returns to the old route for your sake. The very least he could do was thank you for the messages and treats. At least, that’s what Alfred said. For once, he didn’t feel like being stubborn and listened. The first thing he saw was your silhouette against the glass of your sliding door. Then, your emergence.

Bruce is frozen in place. But you’re waving frantically and running down the steps to greet him. Should he turn away? Just leave and never show up again? What if ⸻

❛ OHMYGOSH, OH MY GOSH. YOU’RE REAL! YOU’RE HERE! I WAS STARTING TO THINK I WAS BEING DELUSIONAL AND SEEING THINGS. WHOA, YOU’RE TALLER IN PERSON. AND LIKE SCARY. SORRY, SORRY I DIDN’T MEAN THAT. WOW. ❜

You’re realizing how that sounded; Bruce notices how you cower in fear. Despite his own anxiety driving him up a wall. The least he could do was say thank you, or show his appreciation. It takes him a few moments to say anything. He can hardly hold eye contact, but it eventually comes out.

Well. You definitely didn’t expect him to sound like that. His response was so soft you couldn’t even tell if he was directing that towards you. It was so quiet he might as well been talking to himself⸻ and before you could even ask him another question, he’s gone by the time you look up.

— your video posted on youtube became a meme itself. why? on the duration of 5:34, as you were telling your short story on how you got into make up, itadori slipped.

you clearly saw how it happened because you can see the reflection on the camera.

"oh shit!"

you clicked the stop video to go to him. he was groaning about how hard he fell off the bathroom floor. "How did you even slip?" You asked worriedly. "Sorry, I know you're shooting a video for vogue but I forgot my toothbrush in here," he answered.

You asked him questions if he was still hurt and he convinced that he was okay and you should continue the video, and you did. After the shoot, you gave the camera back and went back to your boyfriend who was watching a movie. As if he didn't get hurt earlier.

What you didn't know was that you didn't pushed the button harder enough to stop the video.

The next day, yuuji woke you up by shaking you.

"We're a meme!" He happily said, "oh and," he kissed your chin, "goodmorning sunshine."

— it was very early in the morning when you started shooting. you got up earlier than him since you have a deadline to catch, and which was the video that you are supposed to send to vogue.

"i don't usually fill in my brows but rather, i—"

the door opened to see him shirtless, your jaw was wide open. "y/n, you should've woken me— what are you opening your mouth for?" He leaned to see the camera behind you. Shoot.

he was blushing madly, "uh, just pretend that you didn't see me." Then he immediately left. There are two things why he was blushing. One, is that he was shirtless and the camera was rolling, and two, your face, you looked pretty with makeup on, it's like it's been enhanced. Don't get him wrong but he finds you more attractive with no makeup on.

— the same as Megumi, he would be in a blushing mess, but the reason was more on when he interrupted you doing your makeup. He wasn't shirtless, he was in his white t-shirt and black sweatpants.

"Sorry-! i should've let you finished shooting!"

"Yuuta!"

You tried calling him but he immediately rushed to the door and closed it. The door gave a loud sound from closing. Trust him, he didn't mean it, he probably pulled it too fast that it sounded like an angry kid, closing the door when gets mad.

After the shoot, you got out of the bathroom and saw him on the side of the wall and you hugged him. "You know, you're kind of cute when you're panicking haha!"

and he smiled.

— to his luck, he was wearing a mask as always, because of his tattoo on the corners of his mouth, he removes the mask whenever he was feeling it.

He wasn't that shy when it comes to you, he loves to make jokes and to make you laugh because it's one of his favorites to see you smiling and to hear your laughing voice.

He joined in the video, intentionally. He wrapped his hands around your waist and you jumped in surprise. "t-toge! I'm still shooting!" You said in a nervous tone. The way he was wrapping your waist was just like wrapping his arms around a pillow.

"You know they can edit that right?" His morning voice was like an ice cream, but instead, you're the one who was melting.

He removed his arms around you and gave you a wink and left the bathroom, leaving you in a blushing mess.

his hand finds its way to the small of your back, resting there as his thumb caresses the skin over your clothes. it’s a touch that grounds you down to earth, despite your mind drifting into a feel— into a place that seems almost too tender to exist here.

silence lingers in the sweet air, more than welcome to stay and find a home.

as long as it stays like this.

katsuki prays it’s not too hard to do; it must be easy if you’d managed to enter without him knowing. 

with steps as gentle, slow and steady as the ones you took with him, that’s how you must’ve entered. sneaking past the entrance of his heavily guarded heart with nothing but smiles and laughs, ones he’s deemed as yours and yours alone; that’s how well you’d worked.

katsuki hadn’t realised until it was too late, until you’d made his heart your home. until you’d added pieces of you there, taking solace in a place he wasn’t sure anyone wanted to be held in.

the touch his thumb gives your back grounds him too; lightly pulling him up from his sea of thoughts. yearning fills his nose as he breathes deeply, even though he has what— who— he yearns for right in his arms.

and oh, how he yearns for you.

the you that glows like a golden dream in the warm tones of the room. the you that gazes at him, showing him the softness you carry in those beautiful irises shining with the light of the setting sun. the you that holds his calloused hand with softness he never thought he would be treated with. the you matching his steps with your own in a slow dance that does enough speaking for the both of you.

as you smile at the slow passage of time, at the steady melody that you both sway to— at him, katsuki realises he can’t do much but hope.

he hopes the almost overwhelming peace chooses to settle down in his home— your home. that it chooses to stay, as warm and intimate as it is now. that it enters the same place you did and finds whatever comfort that kept you there.

maybe the peace will latch onto that comfort. the comfort he never knew he’d grow to want, that same comfort that lights a gentle fire in his bones.

yes. maybe that peace, that reassurance will come together with that comfort with you written over it, and find a place to fit.

the corners of his lips turn up as his lips pull back, revealing a smile you try to capture and hold in your mind. katsuki knows he can’t do anything but hope, yet in spite of himself and that fact, he smiles as he makes a silent promise.

katsuki promises to himself, to you, that you and all that make his home a home won’t ever have to leave. the flame you kept going in him was one he’d try to keep alight along with you.

and he prays, as long as you’re willing, that you’ll invite him in your own home to remain for at least a little while longer.
