野菜が食べられない人

「野菜が食べられない、嫌い」と言う人がいる。

最初はたくさんの人がなんとかして食べさせようとしたり、「美味しいのに」と言ったりしていたけれど（時代もあったのかな）

その人は生まれてこの方野菜が嫌いなのである。かたくなに食べないのである。

年月が過ぎればその発言にも重みが増すもので、何年も何十年も野菜を食べないその人が

「生まれつき野菜を受け付けない人間もいる」

と言うのだから、なるほどそうなのだろうなと納得できたりする。

アレルギーがあるわけではない。

苦いとか、食感とか、「嫌」なのだと言う。

その人の舌は何倍も野菜を苦く感じるのかもしれない。

しゃりしゃりもパリパリも許せないほどに頭をイラつかせるのかもしれない。

心の傷（苦い思い出）があるのかもしれない。

それはわからないが、とにかく

「野菜が嫌いなら食べなきゃ良いさ」

と言ってあげられる人に私はなりたい。

いや、ならなければならない。

給食を残そうが何しようが

それは一種の多様性であると

私は認めている。
