1, 2, and 39 from the fanfic ask game! 🌟

1: Do you prefer writing one-shots or multi-chaptered fics?

That entirely depends on the idea. While certain little setups my brain spits out are mainly good enough for a one-shots, the work I spend on the analysis of Skyward Sword and research for my HC is worth a whole long story. I enjoy writing both a lot. Like having a quick laugh for a meme and also investing myself into a whole world that builds itself while I merely document what is happening.

2: Do you plan each chapter ahead or write as you go?

That also depends. Second Fate will be half half I suppose. While going through the actual canon of the game, I only add information and perspective from Link's POV based on the notes of my research. There each chapter will be planned out since I do not want to go through every little detail like unnecessary minigames or sidequests that aren't valuable for the plot.

The post game arc is enterily free of that and will need much more freedom. There I will have a basis planed out on which I will just write away and see what happens.

Now Groose was standing right in front of him, hands on his hips and leaning a bit down just to show off that he was taller.

As if that did mean anything to Link, he was strong enough. But it wasn’t the time to get violent before he didn’t have any information.

So he smirked slightly looking straight at him.

“Nice hair~” he mused, looking at the ridiculous tower of hair wiggling in the wind.

The provocation worked.

“You lay off my do right now, or I’ll flatten you. Everyone knows I’ve got the slickest pompadour in town!” Groose inflated his chest like a bird in mating season, stroking his hair proudly with both hands.
