I remember I stumbled upon some of your bucktommy posts (specially the text post where you said “no matter how bad i wanted to be, i’m not your last,”—how do you know tommy? etc. and the post where you put the lyrics to Afterglow by Taylor Swift over the breakup scene) and I became obsessed with them. I even wrote the posts down in my journal, because I have no chill when it comes to this ship, apparently. But the reason I started following you—other than the bucktommy posts—is because I thought you were cool and funny and I really love how you share every single thought you have on here, with no filter. I also, kind of, felt a kinship with you, when I learned that you’re a Pakistani girl in her 20’s who labels herself as queer, because I’m also a Pakistani girl in her 20’s who has occasionally questioned her sexuality over the years (I’m still figuring shit out). Soooo, yeah! All that to say, I hope that we can be friends 🫶🏽! But I’m also too nervous to get off of anon and make a move 😅

oh sweet anon this is such a kind message and i had the biggest smile on my face reading it :’) it makes me so happy when people say they came for bcktommy but stayed for another reason in addition to my bcktommy posting, really it means so much.

and you have no idea how much it means to me to find another pakistani girl on here — i know i don’t know you, but i feel the kinship too. as for sexuality, i promise that i’m also figuring things out on a daily basis even. i have at least one sexuality related existential and/or identity crisis a week lool, which isn’t meant to scare, just show that i don’t know everything about myself either in that regard (which, hopefully is comforting in a way). and i think i tend to have no filter on here because it’s the only space i can fully express this part of me and so, i don’t hold back (after doing so for years). my best advice (and something i remind myself of everyday) is that it’s okay to not have it all figured out and your sexuality/ how you feel is valid without having all the answers or knowledge. also i completely get feeling nervous when reaching out bc i’m quite shy as well — but i promise i’m fairly approachable and easy to talk to (i’d like to think so haha), so feel free to message me anytime <3
